Telma and her team are some of the most caring individuals I’ve come to know in the pet industry. I trust them implicitly with my pets and know that when I leave them in Telma’s care they are in good, kind, safe hands. One of my dogs is very anxious and fearful, and we decided it was finally time to get her groomed. The love and care that went into her could be seen from the moment I picked her up. She came out wagging and happy, looked and smelled amazing, had on the cutest bandana, and I knew she had a good experience with the team there. Thank you Telma and the rest of the amazing team! You guys are rockstars!

Telmas Pet Grooming is AMAZING. We have 4 dogs, 3 of which goes to Telma. We stopped grooming our dogs after 1 groomer had put our pup in the vet hospital for cutting her. It’s been 3 years since and I searched on google to find a groomer since my fiancé and I became busy. We found telma along with 4 others. We went with telma because of how polite they were when they answered the phone and the booking process. The young lady was so soft spoken and kind and eased all my concerns. She didn’t rush you off the phone or talk harshly while making the appointment! She asked for all my fur babies info and reassured me we were in good hands with Telma. Once we arrived the day of their grooming appointment we were so nervous. We expressed that to them and they were very nurturing to us. We called about 3 times just to check on them and they let us know they were fine. They were so sweet and polite about it and not agitated as some of our previous groomers were. 3 hours later they called and told us they were ready. We were so excited to see them. We got there and when they came out we fell in love with our dogs all over again. They were absolutely beautiful! Now Telma is our permanent dog groomers. She is amazing and so is all the staff. I highly recommend ❤️

I take my bull terrier here for nail trimmings since she’d rather break her leg than let me cut them. Anyway, they’re quick and friendly and very fairly priced so what more could you want? Thanks for the services and being so convenient!

My girlfriend's dog gets groomed here and while I have never been inside, the results are great. Her dog is an English Springer Spaniel and they know how to do the classic cut for them (low on the top, longer on the bottom. While they could do a better job on the hair between the pads of his feet (he tends to slide on hard flooring over time), she has been very happy over all. Happy enough to drive 44 miles from home and make an afternoon of it in the area while we wait.

We just moved to AC in January been looking for a groomer for sometime for my senior dogs! I could have not found a better one for my boys! From the time we walked in to the time we left this place is simply PAWSOME! Amazing staff attentive and very friendly! Diesel (chihuahuamix) is 15 1/5 years young and has had neck operation when he was younger! Telma was so gentle with him. Chance and Diesel were sooo happy when I picked them up I had to literally drag them out of the store as they were so happy to be in there! You have gained a furever client! I highly recommend this place to anyone in and around Atlantic Area. See you next month. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I brought my dog Mimi here for the first time to get groomed and they gave her the perfect Scottie cut! She came out looking so cute, and I love the little flower collar they gave her, very nice touch :) price was good for the services! Will be using them again

This is a warning to never take you animal to this place for any type of grooming/trimming. I noticed the first time I took my Cavalier to get groomed that they cut the whiskers (the ones you’re not supposed to touch and everyone should be aware of in the dog grooming business). The 2nd time I told them to not cut his whiskers specifically. They cut them all off and said that I had asked them “to cut the whiskers off” and that they gave him a special mark to cut them. When I called back to confront them they lied and hung up the phone on me.

Very friendly Staff! Tony was very helpful and answered all my questions. My Yorkie had a full haircut and it was better than I expected !! 10/10 recommend. Very reasonable Prices with great quality. Schedule in advance since they are always busy. Waited 2 weeks for my appointment and was worth the wait 🙌

I would give them more stars if I could ! After looking for a literal year for a great and local groomer/mobile groomer. We were getting desperate because our cats long hair was getting super tangled and his mats were pulling his fur. We live exactly 30 min away. I called back in May and they recommended a Friday because there were less doggos and he might get spooked. They got him in within two weeks. Every other groomer was booked out or didn’t do cats or priced out starting at 150$… Telma’s shop is incredibly pleasant and the store is cute! They ask for recent vaccinations obviously for their safety. They did a lion cut on him and I asked to keep the floofy tail and part of his bib. Was so impressed!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Worst grooming service I have ever experienced!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE. Son of the owner is a total nut job and has absolutely no manners. Because the building is so close to the highway, my dogs refuse to walk through the front because they have bad anxiety. I’ve discussed this with Telma, the owner, and she gave me permission to utilize the back door. I went to pick my dogs up recently and the son (a grown man) blocked the entrance and kept yelling in my face. He tried to physically push me out of the building and kept calling me slurs and names, causing a whole scene. I felt so bad for the young girl behind the cash register witnessing all of this as well. She looked so scared when she brought my dogs out (who I already paid the service for). Eventually, another man walked into the room and tried to grab the leashes from the young girl to throw my dogs into the highway that runs right in front of the building. Are you kidding me. Total psychopath. At some point, Telma herself walked into the room and just stood and watched the whole fiasco. Two grown men were yelling in my face and the owner watching it all because I used the back door like she allowed me too. After talking with other residents in the area, they have also told me that their dogs were harmed through the services and sometime came back with massive scars and wounds. This place should not be legally functioning over this horrible management.

Never going back here! Been going to telmas for many years with three of my dogs. Today I went like any other day dropping them off in the back and picking up in the back because my dogs fear being close to the road. Today it was apparently a problem! I got verbally attacked by the son and cops called because I was picking them up like normally! Don’t try picking them up from the back if you do go here, they will come crazy at you!!

My Chihuahua loves his monthly grooming appointments! He gets so excited to come here. He gets a little bandana when he is done and smells great. I usually get him bathed, hair trimmed, and teeth brushed. This is a busy place, so I make my appointments a month in advance.

I take my 3 dogs for nails at Telma's approximately once a month. I bring them in one at a time, the whole process taking less than 15 minutes. The staff is wonderful, and the experience is as convenient and stress-free as possible - for both the dogs and me.

Brought my dog here today for the first time with very specific instructions for the groom. The staff was very kind and helpful, so I want to give credit where credit is due, but I am not pleased with the groom. I asked that my dog’s chin hair be trimmed down “as much as possible without cutting any whiskers” because they are very sensitive and my dog does not like when they are cut. They cut every whisker almost down to the skin. I also found a small red spot on my dogs stomach where they shaved close to the skin that is irritated and painful but I was not made aware of any nicks or burns despite asking how things went several times. Really disappointed.
