As I have previously stated, In my opinion the Absecon ShopRite is easiest to navigate and quickly grab what you want or need. I recently visited this ShopRite to grab some things, and look what I stumbled upon. This poor box didn't last 24 hrs.😱🤔🤔😱

I've been a loyal customer to the Shoprite in absecon for 40 yrs. I will no longer shop in this store due to the poor customer service in regards to checkout. There are 12 self service checkouts that are only 20 items or less. There is always 1 person at the now roped off section policing to ensure you do not enter in addition to 2+ associates working in the area. At any given time I observe a minimum of 6 to 7 registers not in use. How many actual cashiers are manning regular check out? 2, maximum 3! And there are always lines! I asked if I could use self checkout and was told no. My queue time in the manned checkout start to finish equated to 26 minutes. Yup, I set my timer. If you are so worried about shrink, look closer at your depts, do more audits, and utilize your wasted man power from the 3 people in self checkouts! Soon you will have spoilage on your list of off standard metrics due to the decrease of customer counts. Goodbye Absecon Shoprite. I'm spending my 26 minutes driving to and from the shoprite in Hammonton.

Came to the ShopRite on the White Horse Pike for the first time. And this ShopRite is huge. A very large selection, of produce, Deli, Meats, and a very large frozen section. Also this ShopRite has double the aisles as the one in Galloway. Giving you plenty of room even if it os crowded. Parking lot never fills up so good parking, The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the location of the products. They also have some bulk size items you can buy as well. And since I'm a mega couponer this ShopRite seems more friendly to customers using coupons. I would definitely recommend the ShopRite to everybody.

It's never really a pleasant trip there because they never have the chunk chocolate chip walnut cookies I like at English creek one they're short handed a lot once I tried to get seafood but the deli person was working the deli and the seafood and was super busy saying they couldn't get over there just yet needless to say I left without the crab legs (dungeness I wanted they definitely don't have the variety English creek has some prices for things decent some a bit high but that's all stores here in NJ . I can't never find the bacon ends they usually have in the pack I used to get from there , the Marie callender meals certain ones don't have the variety English creek has but the ones they do have is decent. They got the best apple cider donuts tho remind me of the donuts we used to get in school ok place to go if you need something in a hurry once in a while they have decent deals on crab legs that's probably over now that summer is over good luck getting them I like they're seafood but better at Acme in Ventnor NJ sorry it is they had lobsters on sale I got that was good but those sale don't last long. It's an ok grocery store for the area that's why I gave it a three just ok some workers nice some have an attitude problem so be prepared.

I am writing this review to point out the exemplary service of Stevie, in self checkout. Stevie was friendly and extremely helpful for anything I needed. I noticed that Stevie was the same towards all the customers. Great job, Stevie! You deserve a raise!

Smaller store makes great for the little one. Junior karts are great as well. As you can see he had a blast. Oh yeah and I found what I was looking for, prices weren't bad either.

Popped in for some groceries while vacationing in Atlantic City. Loved the clean, organized atmosphere, good prices especially when you sign up for their Price Plus program and great sale prices. Staff super friendly especially Steph at front checkout. Will shop there again.

The store is clean and well stocked however missing certain items available in the Galloway location. Produce section needs more care. Self scan has issues that other stores do not. The best feature this store has to offer is plenty of ample parking.

Look!!!@ I dont drive. And U needed to get my medicine. I called the store to ask if delivery is an option....."and YOUR SHOPRITE EMPLOYEE RESPONDS I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT PHARMACY. U WILL HAVE TO CALL BACK" And she hung up. I just cant believe the level of disrespect when ur in the service industry. Last time I ever walk in to Shoprite.

I haven't been in ShopRite in 5 years.I miss this caring and helpful conduct of employees.I told a male employee the reach ins were dripping. He was just coming into work. He listened and investigated. He said he would let them know.The courtesy cashier was excellent as well!!She acknowledged my return to ShopRite!!This is what is missing from business!!Thanks for the kindness

The deli people get really angry if you don’t order ahead using the app…. However if you’re using Instacart you can’t because a lot of times you need further info from the guest.

The lady at the deli was very unhelpful n rude when I ask about her ham, she talk over me when I simple ask about there sandwich deli ham.. she needs a new job simply wasn't pleasant.. man stocking the ham already slice was actually very helpful..

Open till 11 pm, WHEW! Their Bread & Basket brand prices are the BEST and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Clean and well organized, stocked, and good amount of choices. Great place!!! 🌻🌞🌻🙋🏻‍♀️

What a lovely Shop-rite! People are friendly, polite, and I enjoy shopping there!Update. One year later. There was a stabbing there. Police and a security guard posted there. I have had a few "issues" with unruly shoppers, one woman got upset with me because I showed my disdain for her husband blocking the exit with his car as they loaded their groceries IN THE WAY OF SEVERAL IRATE SHOPPERS! Arrogant people commenting why I don't use the tongs for taking bagels. I feel a lower class of people who make me feel uncomfortable shopping. The parking lot is dirty and many times people sitting in their cars blasting rap music.I'll miss alot of the employees but not the selfish, arrogant shoppers.

I had to take an impromptu trip to pick up necessities and thankfully ShopRite was open after 10 PM. I found what I needed quickly due to the very organized isles and helpful super friendly staff. 5 stars for the experience and service.

This ShopRite has certainly improved over the last couple of years. New employees are much more competent, and I'm glad to still see workers that I've known for years do a great job. I don't usually use the deli or other ordering type stations (seafood,etc), however I have found the employees at the bakery to be very helpful and patient, answering my million questions and helping me select the perfect cake for a celebration. Stock can be hit or miss, but they usually have something acceptable to substitute for me.

The staff are very nice! And I just like going there in general. Great place to just get some food for yourself like the necessary stuff. They also have awesome deals for whenever you want to use a coupon! <3
