I'm not understanding how this location remains in operation. On multiple occasions it has experienced different issues including understaffing, having no viable stock, no working card machine, having no change (I understand the shortage but in combination with no working card machine, this is unacceptable) and hand written signs on notebook paper saying the store is closed for arbitrary hours and lengths of time, I'm not even sure corporate is even aware of these issues.

In the past this store had been completely disorganized. The isles were always blocked by carts of merchandise and fallen items. Recently, there has been a tremendous change. The store is clean and orderly. The shelves are stocked neatly. The staff is friendly.

The employees need help. The cashier was so polite and patient while working alone with a line down the isle. Dollar General is always busy. There's no reason they won't hire more help. If the service is this bad you should stop building more and actually focus on the stores you have.

Awesome shopping experience today so in total I bought 7 bottles of body wash 3 bottles of shampoo and 5 bottles of conditioner and a pair of pajama pants totaling $22.00 normal price of everything would have been well over $60.00 but they had a good clearance sale. Definitely worth downloading their mobile app you can scan items with your phone and the price is normally lower than the actual clearance price.

One of the store managers is very very unpleasant, she's light skin tall African American women she wears eagles face mask, please send her to management class everyone needs a job I understand but her lack of management skills shows in her rudeness to us as guest her verbal loudness in conversations that the guest don't want to hear and she cannot multi task she actually slammed my merchandise in the bag because she was tired of me asking a simple question... Dollar General please get this women some help she needs lots of coaching, the other manager that been there from the beginning is excellent now she was a little tough in the beginning but she's great too see in the store Caucasian female with glasses always their my apologies I don't know her name.... So please as a local and a person in management please help the manager I talked about earlier you guy's are in the community of wonderful people let's get managers that's wonderful as well.. Thanks

Nice having a general store nearby this area really needed it. Store is normally clean and well stocked. Some workers make an effort to be friendly, others dont but overall a decent experience whenever I go.

Best place to go for a last minute buy and better than a dollar store. Most of their merchandise is better quality, but the downside is the majority of their foods, for example, milk, ice cream, and canned goods are a higher price than if you were to purchase the same item in a supermarket with the exception of a sale or coupon savings.

I like dollar general but they could do a little better with staffing. The amount of time you have to wait to pay for your stuff is a bit lengthy and the management team could use a little work there is a major turnover of employees because of how other employees deal with each other and the management

The store is in a constant state of being stocked and seems disheveled. The staff is friendly for the most part but one cashier seems to have an issue when you purchase cigarettes or tabaco goods.

I usually go to the DG in Somers Point. 95% of the time I find what I'm looking for. In the rare occasion I cant find something the DG on California Ave always has it. This is definitely one of the better DG stores.

It l looked like a warehouse. Boxes of items in the aisles, and one cashier. I was beginning to feel like I was in a hardee's houder's house.

Horrible. The store was dirty. There was unpacked merch all over the aisles. Only one cashier, and she was not well trained. Will never go back to this location again.

The store is stuffed you can't get through the aisle, because the owner is too cheap to hire people to work in the store to put the stuff away
