Full transparency review as someone that runs a non profit organization which often comes with medical issues , reactivity, exotics like ducks etc. we’ve been coming here for years.We love coming to absecon vet for the wide range of in house diagnostics- they don’t try to tell you to go elsewhere for something . Dr. Lambert is their best vet, by far. The vet techs/assistance are very caring. Everyone I’ve come in contact with listens to you and hears you out .We feel comfortable coming here with our reactive dogs because they’re fear free certified.-Fawns fortress animal sanctuary

The staff at Absecon Vet Hospital are amazing. Dr. Allison & Skylar and wonderful. My dog has extreme anxiety, and they were so kind and patient with him. Our vet tech was also amazing, I’m terrible with names, but she was absolutely wonderful as well. She understood that some doggies just need a little bit of patience and love, and I am so grateful for her. Thank you to everyone at Absecon Vet for getting us in before the holidays and being so kind, caring, and patient. Bruno and I appreciate you!!!

Outstanding care for our emergency situation. The doctor even gave us several options to treat our dog and educated us on why she could have been sick. After an accident had occurred with my pup, this was my first experience in requiring emergency medical services. Upon entry, this facility is beautiful and clean. Full disclosure, I can be a bit of an emotional person and my rescue dog is quite anxious as well- and the accident that transpired had both of us incredibly worked up. Considering this, each staff and every staff member was incredibly receptive, informative, and kind with me and especially compassionate and patient with my dog. The medical / vet professionals were very thorough in ensuring peace of mind and plan of care to follow. Great experience in the face of adversity. I do apologize greatly as I do not recall her name, but the vet tech that assisted in having me checked in and then primarily took the vitals of my pet was beyond patient and compassionate towards my very anxious Daisy Mae. All staff members were friendly and warm! The doctor was evidently knowledgeable and had answered all anticipated questions before my even having to ask. Thank you for best preparing us for a road of recovery.

They have a great staff and they are very helpful very quickly help us out and when we needed the most! All the doctors,nurses and surgery doctors, they all great staff, they were very concerned about my dogs being!specially Archer, he is my brave dog!even though everyone tried to save him, but also will be remembered in our hearts 💕 💞 thank you for everything you do!! Everyone was so nice and helpful! Dr. Chris Lambert was very clear with communication each step of the way. He was able to identify my cat’s issue and provide a plan of action, which has been completely successful! I have been going to Absecon Vet for over 20 years, and have been seeing Dr. Mitchell who truly is the best vet I’ve ever come in contact with. She helped my Sadie girl get at least an extra 2 years with her acupuncture treatments and herbal medications. Sadie wasn’t able to take traditional medications, and Dr. Mitchell came up with a treatment plan that extended her life while giving her the best quality life. Because of Dr. Mitchell, Sadie lived 16 amazing years. Having a vet you trust, allows you to have the confidence to continue to own dogs! I have since got 2 Goldens, and I know they’ll be in good hands because of her! I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Mitchell and I’ll remain a loyal customer at Absecon vet because of her!

They were very kind and let us come in very close to closing one night for an emergency visit. My dog was throwing up and had bloody stool, and he probably would have been fine at home, but it was nice to go and have the doctor examine him & explain everything to us. They gave us anti nausea and anti diarrhea medicine & the medicine really did help us all get a good nights sleep after coming home. Everyone we encountered was also very kind and I appreciate how we were treated in a stressful situation!

My pup was not feeling very well on a Saturday night when my main Veterinarian was closed. I wasn't sure if I was able to be seen or not, but Absecon Vet took me right in under Emergency Care. Unfortunately, the outcome led to an overnight stay; and I was naturally worried until I received texts and photos of my Kira stating how well she was doing and how she was being taken care of. I very much appreciate the amount of compassion and care that was provided to me and my little girl. Everything was explained to me very well and I couldn't have had more piece of mind throughout this experience. Thank you very much!

I brought my cat, Hank Hill the Vampire Cat Prince Of Darkness, in on emergency. Our rDVM wasn't available but sent me to Absecon. We had to drive over an hour to get there with my little man meowing the entire time but they were able to help calm him down and make him feel comfortable during his visit. Upon entering there was staff that greeted us and checked us in promptly. They never made us feel pressured into anything and asked as well as gave prices before doing anything. They had a few other emergencies during our time there which made our time a little longer but we were greatful to wait as we knew those other fur kids needed help immediately. Staff communicated with us and apologized for the wait times but we were extremely understanding and we knew our babe was in good hands. We hit up the snack machine too which donates to a good cause and was a life saver! We will definitely use them in the future if needed. Thank you to the caring and friendly staff! ♡

Worst place ever. Called, told them my dog had a rotten tooth. Was told on thr ohone they could take her as an emergency. The tech must have never walked a dog, never made eye contact or let the dog smelled her- dragged her. See vet that looks as high as a kite, says dogs fine- send her to get her teeth cleaned- $180 for nothing. Fast forward until can get her into another doc, a month of pain for this pup. Find 4 teeth that need extracting, and the one we went in for the emergency, was so infected. So terrible, this dog should not have had to deal with this pain for a month. I'm enraged.

Rachel & dr Scotland were very helpful with our shepherd who gets anxious at the vet. They took the time to allow him to sniff them out and get comfortable. They also allowed us to assist so they could administer his vaccine. Other vets have automatically deemed our dog aggressive because of his size and breed, but they worked with us and moose to properly care for him. We are very appreciative Rachel & Dr Scotland. This was Rachel’s second time with Moore and she helped make this a quick and painless experience for us

Today was my second experience with Absecon Veterinary Hospital. My first experience was great so I made appointments for my other 2 cats.I called today and spoke to Nancy because one of my cats is ill. I was worried about how much everything might cost ,since my cat had to be seen by the Emergency Department. She was kind and understanding and very professional. Nancy helped me qualify for a Care Credit card. The process was easy and helped with my anxiety level, at least as far as payment was concerned.So far everyone we have dealt with here has been friendly and kind.

Team was great! It was a very concerning and distressing situation, but it appears had a happy ending so I'm grateful. Very happy this place is here to care for pets.When I got there, thru emergency admission and into treatment, everyone was wonderful - the ultrasound tech, the admissions representative, the doc. I feel valued as a client and I feel that everyone at Absecon Vet truly cares about my fur babies. It's truly an amazing practice. The person on the phone who scheduled the surgery (I think was Jamie?) was amazing. Everyone involved in the surgery from intake through release was terrific. The team member who talked us through release was so nice, and everyone was ooing and ahing over the dogs, which made us feel better (after poor Charlotte had to have 12 teeth removed!) Also I appreciated that your staff took the dogs for pottying before bringing them to us. The customer service and caring that I receive from each staff member

I had to bring my cat who had been quite sick to the Absecon Veterinary Hospital. It was a bit scary for me, I was extremely worried about him. I have to say, every one was so nice there. Bree who works the front desk as you arrive, made me relax from the start. She was super helpful, kind, and caring not only to myself but to all of those in the waiting room. Bree was amazing. She took the time to talk to each of those in the waiting room, keeping us up to date on what was happening with our pets. I honestly couldn't believe how she ran the extremely busy intake effortlessly, making everyone feel relaxed. Bree was so kind and helpful, I felt I had to take the time to write a review. I'd hire this young lady in a minute. She never stopped. The waiting room was very busy, and she never appeared the least bit frazzled, she simply kept moving. Thank you Bree for making the experience with a sick pet, less stressful, and taking the time to console me, and keep me up to date with what was going on with my cat while there.The only thing I wasn't happy about was being there for over 4 hours and not being able to be in the back with my pet to console him. I know this experience was extremally stressful for my cat, and would have liked to been with him, rather than me sitting in the waiting room alone while he was in the back alone.

I can’t say better things about Absecon Vet. My standard poodle was neutered & had a gastropexy that was recommended by my primary vet. I did give them a heads up he’s had these weird throw up spells that my vet dismissed as extra stomach acid. They decided to take an X-Ray anyway to see if there was any foreign objects & there was! My poor dog has been suffering for 4 weeks and kept getting dismissed as anxiety & extra stomach acid. They called me before the surgery to give me a heads up that he would also now need a gastrostomy. I can’t thank their doctors & techs enough for everything they did for my baby. On top of it, I’ve received two phone calls from them checking in on my guy less than 24 hours after picking him up. They have made me feel so comfortable with choosing them as the surgeons to operate on my dog I look forward to making them my primary vet going forward. Thank you thank you thank you!!

Our dog swallowed a mango pit. We took him here as an emergency and they saw him right away and got him to vomit it up. It was a weekend and our normal vet was closed. Excellent treatment and knowledgeable staff. A bit pricy but worth piece of mind knowing our dog as okay.

Our beloved dog rapidly declined last week and we were desperate to help. we took her to a closer animal hospital, and they treated a minor issue but not the seizures she had been having. the seizures got worse and every hospital i contacted made me feel like i was just a bill and crazy for caring for my dog. i called absecon and, let me tell you, they saw that i was not going crazy and that my girl was gravely ill and told me to rush over. when we got there, they were outside carrying her in for me and immediately began treatment. they confirmed she had a more serious issue going on and made me and my fiancé feel heard and loved. unfortunately, she was too far gone when we got her there, but they helped us through the process and i truly feel like they felt every ounce of pain we felt with us. a tech we didn’t see at all came in while we said our final goodbyes to our sweet girl and told us that she had to let us know what an angel our girl was. i even asked an absurd request for them to get a lock of her hair (our girl was completely bald) and the tech joked with me she’d need a straight razor. well, i got her ashes today and i had a lil patch of hair. if you want a vet genuinely that cares for not only your vet but you as well, absecon is the best in our area. thank you for loving our girl as much as we do.

If you have a sick reptile I suggest you go to a different vet that is more experienced. I will never go to this vet again. My bearded dragon is sick and I’m almost completely convinced it’s a respiratory infection which is what I told them and instead of listening to me they decided to charge me 200 dollars in total for diagnosis and eye drops and it absolutely did nothing so I called them crying to them telling them how they didn’t help out one but and how I can’t afford another vet visit and then they proceeded to try and tell me I can come back in for ANOTHER diagnosis which would have been ANOTHER 200. I seriously think they don’t care for my bearded dragon. I can tell he’s sick and in the morning he just looks like he could die any minute. Now I’m currently on the journey of treating him myself because vets just charge too much and we are living in a very expensive time. I will never take any of my reptiles to a vet again after this experience.

I believe the doctors name was Ben, I'm horrible with remembering names, but he had came into the room checked to make sure our pup was stable ask a few general questions and then explained he would be back. I just loved the communication.The woman who explained the after care for Rio was so sweet, you can tell she sincerely cares about the animals as individuals and also has great customer care with her explanations.The woman that were at the front desk were very pleasant when I walked in, the one girl at the front was wearing really cool eye make up and she was just very personable and nice.The other girl made simple conversation but just all around made me very comfortable.I have previously had VERY bad experiences at vets where people have seemed to hate every second of talking to me and it makes me hesitant to want to go to a regular vet instead of a shelter clinic.I'll be back in a few days to have Rios stitches checked out and I'm honestly happy to go back. Wish I wasn't meeting everyone because of my dog getting hurt but it was a pleasure to meet all of you!!
