I cannot recommend Katie enough!! Since the first time meeting her, I was struck with her kindness. She was so accommodating even when I asked her to fill 400 cannolis on site the day of my wedding- I don't know many vendors that would do that for you! Not only was she kind and so thoughtful, her desserts were absolutely delicious!! We loved our chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting and our guests raved about her coconut macaroons! Everyone at our wedding loved our dessert table and it was all designed by Katie. She really is the best and I would book her for any event or celebration! Best decision! Thank you for making our day so great!

For starters, Katie is the sweetest, kindest person to work with. Anytime we have stopped in her shop she has a smile on her face and remembers us. The phenomenal desserts are just the icing on top. She accomplished the most amazing and unique dessert spread for our wedding. Since I have celiac, we chose to have all the desserts at our wedding be gluten free and I truly don’t think anyone would’ve known the difference as the flavor was amazing. Katie made a variety of mini pies, whoopie pies, peanut butter brownie bites, chocolate covered strawberries, a variety of insanely good cupcakes, and the sweetest rustic/floral 6” wedding cake. The flavor of everything was perfect, and the presentation was beautiful. We are forever fans of From Scratch Baking Co. and they unquestionably executed our wedding desserts spread.

We cannot recommend from scratch baking company enough. Katie was fantastic to work with every step of the way. She was professional and kind and listen to every request we made.We were offered a tasting to try a variety of different flavors and it was extremely hard to choose because they were also good.We had a fairly specific look we were hoping Katie could accommodate. She absolutely knocked it out of the park and exceeded our expectations. She has a creative mind and beautiful eye for cake decorating that create the most beautiful and delicious cakes.From scratch offers drop off services that made our day that much easier.Katie is a wonderful human to work with and we can’t recommend her enough!

Katie and her team did an absolutely amazing job for our July wedding! They were able to deliver and set up a beautiful display of deserts that all of our guests raved about for days (not to mention all the deserts were VEGAN). We had several guests say they were the best deserts they ever had! Thankfully we had some packed up beforehand to take home before they were all gone. Highly recommend!

We were visiting Wolfeboro today and on a whim, we stopped in for a mixed to-go box of goodies. We got several cookies, a choc cupcake with vanilla buttercream, a carrot cake cupcake, and a peanut butter-frosted brownie. Let's just say we're happy we don't live close by.The flavors, textures, and quality were incredible, just unreal. The chocolate cupcake: tender cake with a great crumb and the silkiest (THE silkiest!) and best tasting buttercream we've ever had. Everyone was thrilled & only wish we got more cupcakes for later.You bet we'll be back next time we're in town. Bypass any grocery stores and do yourself (and your sweet tooth a favor) - head to From Scratch for all your sweet treats.

Arrived in Wolfeboro for our vacation on Saturday and started to look for places that had gluten-free cake for my wife’s birthday which was the following Friday. I found A review for a place called From Scratch Baking co. that had excellent gluten-free choices. Noticed they didn’t open till Tuesday so went there in person and asked if they could make not one but two cakes for Friday. I knew it was a longshot, I’m sure cakes take at least a week in advance but they went above and beyond and made both cakes for me. I will be a repeat customer every time I’m in Wolfeboro. My wife loved her cake thank you so much!! Oh almost forgot to mention the day I ordered cakes I also picked up two gluten-free pumpkin chocolate chip muffins from the case which were also delicious.

Fantastic bakery with superb service! The chocolate cake with toasted coconut frosting was absolutely delicious and decorated beautifully. This bakery's service is outstanding. On Friday at 9 AM, I realized that I needed to pick up the birthday cake hours earlier than planned. The From Scratch Baking Co. was phenomenal and had the cake ready by 10:30 AM. They were absolutely fabulous and totally saved the day. Big thank you to the team at the From Scratch Baking Co.!

We hired From Scratch for our wedding, and even though we only wanted a few small things they really took the time to find out exactly what we wanted and executed it perfectly! Our guests were so happy with the delicious cookies and gorgeous cutting cake. We love From Scratch! We try to stop in for a little treat whenever we get back to Wolfeboro. They are so creative and the staff is always friendly.

Bought my daughters sweet 16 birthday cake looked beautiful but was very disappointed when we ate it. The cake itself was compact and extremely dry. There was more frosting than cake itself after looking at it.

HOLY moly, is this good. We popped in for dessert after going to the pizza place next door. I had the peanut butter brownie and my son had the carrot cake cupcake. GREAT food and a reasonable price. They had cookies, traditional cupcakes, red velvet cupcakes, lemon bars, brownies, and more. Service was efficient. Wish I lived nearby. I'd be back!

I received a care package of From Scratch goodies. I froze most of them, as I was never going to be able to eat them before they went bad. Well, as I've taken out a cookie here and a bar there from the freezer, I was skeptical they'd still be good. They're absolutely delicious! Flavor is tremendous, texture is chewy where it should be and crispy where it should be. I will be stopping here every time I'm in Wolfeboro.

I bought a lemon 1/2 sheet cake with buttercream frosting for my daughter's h.s. graduation. I told them I wanted flowers but did not specify. Oh my goodness it was absolutely beautiful and delicious. People couldn't believe how beautiful it was with little purple lilacs and other flowers around the edges and corners. It made the whole day more special! I'll definitely go back.

I stopped in for a last minute dessert to bring to a dinner party. The options were limited, so I bought the rest of her big cupcakes in different flavors and a peanut butter brownie. Here are some comments I heard: "These might be the best cupcakes I have ever had" "That is a damn good brownie, delicious, and moist" "The frosting is awesome" "The cake of the cupcake was just the perfect texture and moist" "I have found a new bakery" "We are going to have to go to Wolfeboro" "mmm this is so good" " I want another cupcake". On vacation and craved something sweet. Had my husband stop and WOW..... Made him go around the block and go back in, the salted chocolate chocolate chip cookie was AMAZING! had him clean them out (greedy that way).His cinnamon bun was perfectly chewy and sweet. So sorry they are so far from New York.
