This is the best Mom & Pop book store for many miles around - an excellent selection, quick ordering, a volume discount card, and the friendliest and knowledgeable staff! Most will know this store from their summer shopping, but they are here year-round, and the feel of the shop is well summed up in their name.

My daughter is an avid reader and she really tries to stay away from the big corporation bookstores. She enjoys browsing here and usually finds a few good reads. We both love the coziness of this shop. It is obviously more expensive than shopping on Amazon, but we believe in supporting our locally owned businesses

One of my first stops after we moved to Wolfeboro last month. I ordered the new Elizabeth Strout book, and I was thrilled to get a signed copy when I picked it up! Super friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful children's section - I've already gotten several books for my granddaughter.

It’s such a gift to have this charming little book store in the heart of Wolfeboro. My grandchildren love finding books here and I love to have them reading over the summer. The Country Bookseller is the BEST independent bookstore in the area. The owner and staff are marvelous people and always make you feel welcome there. Whatever book you are looking for can be found or ordered there. The Book Nook in the bookstore is a wonderful place to have coffee, tea, smoothies or whatever beverage you desire. It is definitely my happy place!

Great bookstore in a quiet corner of Wolfeboro. They have a cute little kids corner that was perfect for our daughter to take her time and look at books. We'll definitely be stopping in again!

A little gem in the heart of Wolfeboro!! The selection of books is unbelievable, and if they don't have it, they'll order it for you. Owner Karen Baker, manager Autumn, staff member Bruce --so knowledgeable and helpful and friendly!! They also have a used book section for those seeking bargains. I always take the books I've bought and read back to be placed there.The Book Nook Café has great coffee--local, from Tuftonboro, and my favorite is the Dark Sin! Scones, cookies, pastries--and, in summer, the best gelato around--make coming in so nice. Several groups of us come after the gym or for a social hour, and we all love it!

The Country Bookseller is a great little book shop and cafe (coffee, baked goods, etc.). It's my favorite place to check out new releases, and I always enjoy looking through their sections on New Hampshire and New England. If you're visiting Wolfeboro make a point of stopping there - you'll be glad you did.

Amazing little book store, little cramped but has many classics and new titles. Also they sell local books and can order you almost any book you can think of. Authors do come and sign books while you drink your special coffees.
