We've been renting here yearly for the past four seasons! This past season we bought our adult gear! We couldn't be any happier with the service we have received here. Everyone is knowledgeable in all items and so pleasant to work with. We love the ease and support and will not rent or buy anywhere else. Thanks for being a great local place!

This store has the rudest (I'm assuming owners) I've ever met. The fact that they wouldn't throw away 2 Starbucks cups when we asked upon entering couldn't have been handled better then to snap at us but the reasoning was understandable. Not only did she question is wanting to walk around, her and her husband stood there and talked about what we possibly would want. I don't know anyone who goes into a store and doesn't check out more then just the item they might be curious in. Why they didn't encourage browsing is beyond me!They had some cute items but we would never give them a sale, why do you own a store?!

The owners were super friendly and easy going. They helped us rent a canoe for the week with all of the needed gear (car straps, life preservers, paddles) with zero hassle. I will be back next summer for sure.

This place is great reasonably priced and can accommodate large groups but call ahead to reserve we go a few times a year sometimes with a group of more than 25 you can rent there kayak or leave from there spot on the river and they will pick you up across the lake and bring you and there kayak or yours back to the car great times plenty of places to stop on the river and have lunch or just to take a break and catch up with everyone else in the group . Great times happen at ski works thanks again for another great family fun day...

One of my favorite places to buy for myself or get gifts for others. Been going there since the 80s. They have the best prices on name brand gear with a staff that is very helpful and knowledgeable. The folks that work there take the time to really help you find what you need.

This is the best place in the area for quality ski gear and wear. The staff is incredible and extremely helpful! We wouldn't go anywhere else!!Also the kayak trips that leave behind their shop is an absolute blast!! It's a great family adventure and I would recommend it for all ages.

The name is Ski Works. As that name implies, they do carry skis and snowboards, winter apperel ect. But what most done realize is that they are open in the summer for all your self powered boating needs, including canoe and kayak rental. They will even set you up outback on the bearcamp river and pick you up down river on the lake later on! Plus Shelly and John the owners are super nice and always happy to help you with anything you need!
