The need to try on clothes and shoes before purchasing is becoming less critical as e-commerce takes over traditional brick-and-mortar. It should be easy to take your mother to try on shoes, but we found that many of the shoes at the store were either soiled or unavailable in the correct size. Unfortunately, there were no salespeople to assist in the shoe section, which is understandable as many stores have stopped hiring staff for each department. However, the staff in other departments were friendly, polite, and helpful. I miss the old days of shopping when there was plenty of stock and retailers invested in having an entire staff for each department.

Had exactly what I needed in the right sizes in multiple departments. Nothing seems to be low in stock. Good men's department options for growing adolescents. Expanded selection of shoes, including lady's heels and men's dress shoes. For myself, I liked some items from the Nine West women's clothing and shoe collections best.

Placed an online in store pickup order on Sunday at 9:30AM. Received confirmation email immediately then around 9:40AM received an email that the order was cancelled by the store (items not in stock). I had to go to West Lebanon anyhow so I figured I'd swing into the store and check to see if I could find the items that I ordered. Within 5 mins I was able to locate all of the items I had ordered in stock on the shelves.If you don't have staff, I get that, just don't offer in-store pickup if you can't provide in-store pickup. However while I was in the store, I observed what looked like plenty of staff just kinda milling about chatting amongst themselves.The lack of just basic general service is what will push me and others to shopping online. I have no problem spending my money elsewhere, which in the end is what I ended up doing.

Update: This Kohls hasn't done well to adapt to the needs and concerns of customers. They went from great service to below adequate. Not many employees on the floor for help but I will give kudos to the cashiers for dealing with the long lines as quickly as possible.

There was a mixup with my online order pickup and three associates spent time trying to help me and were able to locate my order even though I had mixed up some numbers. Kudos to Michelle W., Vicki, and Deb B for their efforts. They say they are always willing to help if customers tell them of a problem. The store is also very clean and well organized and neat.

In the kohl's in Lebanon, NH I was fortunate to have Conlyn help me order an item I wanted. He was excellent and very patient with my issue. Kiddos to Conlyn!!!

Has gone downhill significantly over the years, especially after covid. "Deals" aren't like they used to be. Several spots, such as the shoe section, get trashed by disrespectful customers and it seemingly rarely gets cleaned up.

An associate, Carole Leigh, returned to the ladies apparel dept. to find another item for me so I could get a BOGO free item when I reached the checkout. She and her daughter who checked out my sale, were very friendly, helpful and customer oriented.

There was limited stock and when I got home I discovered that there was a security tag on a pair of shorts that I had purchased. I tried calling the store after I got home and on the two occasions the phone rang over 10 times with no pick up or message. I also purchased a pair of slacks that I will need to return because the sizing is not correct.

It's a Kohl's, so you can expect that. It is clean in there, in fairness. Thinly staffed and they play the generic music too loud, can't casually browse without wanting for an aspirin.

I love shopping at Kohls, and I've been visiting West Lebanon for two months, I've always received good service, but today specifically, a young woman served me in a way that I found rude and impolite. I always make high-value purchases, and I receive coupons , the attendants give them to me without me even asking, I think it's wonderful, however, I always lost the coupons, and today was the first time I decided to use them.Anyway, I asked the young attendant if I could use the coupon to buy two pairs of pants and if I could buy more,if i get another coupon, and she rudely told me no, that today I wouldn't get a coupon, like "NOT TODAY, you don't you will get a coupon"I get out of store without saying anything, she could have explained that I would win but I couldn't use it in the same day, I only dont understood why she was rude and didn't give me a coupon.I definitely won't buy again there if I have to get service from her.

where to begin I am the close out whisperer ... i told staff at ben franklin to change things they didnt listen and they are gone ...i advised zayres on a few changes they laughed and told me i didnt know what i was talking about.they are history.i went to montgomery wards with a few suggestions ..they asked me not to return ..they too are in the past..i went to sears with some reviews and comments poof gone...i let cromwell connecticuts k mart in on some secrets and now they are dust in the wind ...i suggested a few things for JC Penney like abe lincoln they are history ...im never wrong not teven once ....so i have some suggestions for you at Khols .if your willing to wear your learning gear and toss away the you know it alllgear...

I was truly amazed at the work and dedication of the employees in the West Lebanon, New Hampshire store. I took my disabled sister shopping on 1/27/23, she had a low sugar reading while we were checking out and the employees were amazing. They gave her orange juice and crackers and made sure she was alright before we left. Any of the employees that worked that day should be recognized for the overwhelming support and dedication. I am so grateful for all they did above and beyond to make sure their customer was alright. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
