We used to go to Costcos in Michigan, but the closest one to us here in NH is two hours away. Not convenient! So, we signed up for BJs.First reaction is that it is not as big as the aforementioned, but perhaps the Nashua Costco, too, isn’t as big as the Detroit area stores? I’ll likely never know.I do know that this store doesn’t seem as clean as it could/should be. It does have a nice produce area, w smaller portions such that you don’t need to start canning when you get home. Love the deli counter, as well.It deserves 2 1/2 stars, but a bonus because it seems like my wife curates the wine selection. She doesn’t, but they have much of what we enjoy.Sadly, BJs doesn’t seem to have “quality” store brands. But, if you stick w name brands, you should do OK.

Go here when we're running low on all of the cabinet and freezer groceries, usually good deals if you look. Parking and foot traffic has been awful last few times, we had to wait 5-10 minutes just to get our receipt checked and leave the store after paying.

I’m m tired of the constant bait and switch. Which by the way is highly illegal. Virtually all of there coupons do not match the quantity and packaging on the shelf. Consequently they won’t give you the coupon credit. This is the case on over half of there items.

Store had 90% of what we were looking for which was great. Only downside was in electronics. When we picked up card to take to customer service for 2 devices we were told they are out of stock. Why have the cards out if items are out of stock.

My sister ordered a birthday cake for my 91 year old father in law with a picture of his 18 wheeler truck on it that he drove back in the day. We gave them a clear picture of the truck so they could apply the image. Usually they do a pretty good job but this one was terrible. I am beyond disappointed in the quality of this cake so much that you can’t tell what the writing on the truck says. I could have done a better job and I’m not a cake decorator. If I had been the one to pick it up I would not have accepted it. Be a while before I order another one.

We do most of our shopping here. I just wish it were a bigger store so they could carry all the items of their bigger stores. And I am sick and tired of items completely disappearing from their shelves - even the info cards - while a coupon for them is available, then magically reappearing when the coupon expires.

Every week I have a new issue with this place and wish there was an alternative close by.The lines for regular checkout are often long, as they have only 1 or 2 lines open on Saturdays and Sundays. So rather than watch the older cashier slowly scan each item (taking 15 minutes per cart), I am forced into self checkout. Not a big deal, except for the fact that the self checkout does not work for steak/chicken/meats. So you then have to wait for a worker to come over and re-scan your meats.Recently, I ventured into the older cashier's checkout lane because she was finishing up a transaction and it would be short wait. The cashier was super nice, but clearly not meant for bulk item checkouts. She could barely lift the items in the cart to scan them & it wasn't clear if she was scanning properly. After paying, the receipt did not print properly. I asked for a reprint & the manager, Ben, handed me a receipt that only printed 10 of my 33 items. I brought this to his attention, but the cashier had already started scanning the next cart. As a result, the receipt could not be reprinted & I had no way of confirming that the cashier scanned my items properly. Ben told me the receipt would be available the next day if I wanted a copy emailed to me. So I had to take pictures of my cart so I could compare them to an emailed receipt the next day. Because I have nothing better to do with my weekend than follow up on their incompetence. What a joke.

Love BJ’s . This location has a good selection on many things, it’s always clean, and its in a convenient location . My only complaint would be somethings are priced the same as other stores.( so not cheaper)

I once lived in hanover for 5 years then moved to Houston, this is my favorite store. Based on my experiences on Costco, Sams and BJs, this BJs offered enough choices for common house needs with relatively cheap price.

They started sending me daily marketing emails. I have since "unsubscribed" from them over 5 times yet I'm still receiving them every day. I doubt this complaint will make its way up to anybody that can do anything about it, but they really need to fix their marketing.UPDATE: Customer service informed me that it will take 4-6 weeks for the emails to stop.

Gas station never accept my both the credit card Visa and Master. Folks in the cabin never offer any helps. Scanning the membership is painful, its always times out.

At first, I thought their approach to putting coupons online to be downloaded to a member's card was a great idea. It turns out that the only browser guaranteed to work fully with that process is Chrome. Every other browser I have tried stops displaying the image of the product after one or two times on the site. I've complained numerous times and been told that the issue has been referred and they are working on it.

When I tried to enter the store I was told that I was required to wear a mask. I explained I have a disability and cannot. I was told I had to leave. I called the store and explained to the manager and asked if I could pick up at the door or is there a way I could purchase the item I needed and could be brought out? She meet me at the door had the item I needed. Had the front desk check me out so I could leave. When I left there was no longee a greeter forcing masks.Megan was kind and thoughtful. She agreed I should not have been treated the way I was and that there has to be a better way.Way to go BJ'sAnd thank you Megan you truly made a difference today.

Good food but bad service. This is the second time I encountered so many inconvenience in this store since I joined the membership in December 2017. I can not believe this store can have so poor service to its members. The ladies worked there are so impatient and arrogant. One time when I asked her about the coupon I had for a detergent, she said it was not working, and I then told her to cancel it, she just cancelled everything in my cart that I had just self-scanned!!! I then had to re-scan it from the beginning which was soooo annoying. She even did not say a sorry and she even blamed me for allowing her to cancel everything. But in fact, I never asked her to cancel everything and she did not tell me that she will cancel everything either. I was so shocked about her attitude and behavior.

CAUTION!! This location does not adequately service their gas pumps. I was pumping gas when the high pressure hose split, dousing me and the interior of my vehicle in gasoline. As I am standing there dripping in fuel and trying to use some napkins I found in my glove box to clean some of the fuel from my face and eyes, the attendant comments that this same thing had occurred on pump one a week prior. The store manager took my information down and told me that someone would be in touch. Now, after a month I have still not heard from anyone. I suffered with head aches for several days after the exposure and had to deal with a fuel soaked interior of my vehicle.Save yourself some aggravation and get your fuel somewhere that provides better upkeep to their equipment.

I'm love this Bjs!! I go there almost every other day. The workers are nice and kind , but i have noticed this one worker Dan Brown !! He gets me carts as fast as possible and greets the customers! He is very nice and deserves a raise! 😁

It's no Costco Wholesale, but in the Upper Valley it's the next best thing unless you want to drive 2 hours. You do have to be careful about dates in the refrigerated section. A 24 pack of yogurt might only be a couple days from coding. Good luck getting through it! I appreciate how much they support local non-profits including LISTEN, the Upper Valley Haven and the Grafton County Sr Citizens Council. All-in-all, it's a great resource and the new gas station is amazing.

Easily navigated, well maintained and clean. The hallmarks of a good warehouse club location. This one delivers. Although smaller than some of the other clubs in the chain (no clothing in this one), it's a great store. If you're a member, you'll be happy you came here. Bulk shopping at it's best.

Not too bad. The front end where the cash registers are is very congested with not much room at all to move about. Trying to exit the place is extremely difficult to accomplish with the food court and phone sales spot within the area and you have to share the single exit lane with people wanting to purchase a cell phone.

I would just like to thank the staff of the Lebanon nh store you all have been absolutely AMAZING under pressure because of the virus I've been in and seen people treating your workers VERY POORLY and yet they are keeping their cool and responding with a smile. I have been in and seen the worst in customer come out and yet to name a couple employees Zach and Sonja have taken it in strides when I would have been calling the police or hurting someone for treating me the way they have been treatedAgain THANK YOU ALL for being there during the worst of times

My concern involves the optical section.Last Monday, March 23, before the “CDC“ supposedly shut bj optical down I went in for an adjustment on my glasses I bought there. The woman promptly changed my eye pads. Before I left I said to her they did not feel right. She told me to try them.By the next day I had a sore spot from the glasses, but could not get in till Wednesday. I arrived at 1130 a.m. The same woman was there. When I asked for help all she would reply was “I’m sorry I can’t help you. It’s not my fault. It’s the CDC’s fault, it’s the CDC‘s fault.” And she kept repeating it like a mantra. Loudly. I’m sure they heard her all the way down to the deli.On Friday, shopping at a Walmart I discovered their optical was still open. By this time I’m wearing a back up pair of almost useless glasses but at least comfortable. I still kept my “good” pair in my bag. This lady at Walmart optical noted the major difference in the eye pads. She took the glasses I bought from BJ’s optical and put on different pads.What a difference! I can wear my regular glasses again.Thank God for Walmart optical and boo for the incompetence of that BJ Optical employee. If she had done her job right when I first went in, this would not have happened.

Nice place to shop. With more than three nearby grocery chains, BJ's stands out as the only Wholesale Club in the area. The staff and Membership Services desk both seemed to be run by positive friendly staff. Looking forward to shopping here in the future and getting gas for way cheap,

If you are black or brown expect stopping at the gate and additional ridiculous scrutiny like stopping you and checking whether you have put additional stuff into your pre packaged fruit bundles. Ridiculous and insulting.

BJ's since it's purchase by a private equity firm has changed a lot. The latest is not for the better as they have decided that anytime they will have no more the 1 or 2 maned checkouts and have increased there auto checkouts to 6 lanes. The lines for the maned check outs are always way deep and no one at the self checkout.Yet, they are hurting because they are giving out $10 to comeback. That tells you they are not doing well.
