Great food, awesome music and friendly staff. Pricing is decent, but some items are more expensive here that you could buy cheaper somewhere else. Shawnees does fresh cut meats like hamburger, chicken, steaks and pork chops. Deli can slice lunch eats and cheeses and make cold subs.

I've been going to this store for 25 years. Since the new owners bought it and expanded they now have an unbelievable deli that makes the most awesome sandwiches!!! The deli girls are pretty friendly but the people behind the registers upfront could be a little more friendlier and smile. Maybe it's just their New England stoic personalities. Overall, great place!!

The hot food they offer is always homemade. They have THE BEST burgers. Really big local beef (u can def tell the difference) and real cheap! They sell the same Hamburg. And it's worth it! You can see and taste the difference over big box stores. Friendly staff. My only complaint is they close at 8:pm.

I can't say enough about the folks that work here. I live right down the street from the store and frequent it often. The folks here are very personable people and I enjoy conversations with them from time to time. This is a general store with various types of amenities such as fresh vegetables, fresh cut meat to your liking, custom deli sandwiches with various types of deli meat and all your typical fixings. On a daily basis, there various type of hot items to pick from including soup, hot sandwiches, and so on. There is a whole section with various types of wine and another section with various mainstream beers, but also various craft beers for all of you beer connoisseurs. The store also carries various local items such as local maple syrup, some local pastries, and other local food products from time to time. Another great feature about Shawnees is the fact that it's right in the path of a Snowmobile/ATV trail that connects to other trails throughout the state. I've seen many snowmobiles come through their parking lot during the winter. The store provides various octane levels of gas and a diesel pump as well. Even though there is now a Dollar General down the street, Shawnees still provides quite a few items that you won't find elsewhere around here.

Great store. Great staff. They have fresh meat which isn't too expensive given not having to drive half an hour to Plymouth or Woodsville. Kinda wish they had more stuff, but it is what it is. Can't wait to use real gas in my car. Yes that's right they have eth free premium.

If you are looking for an awesomely full—ridiculously full sandwich, look no further!!!There is ABSOLUTELY no skimping on fillings, huge amounts of meat, and plentiful veggies in any sandwich they sell. The sandwich prices are phenomenal! Of course, you could always check them out for yourself!The store also has a small selection of meat, produce, dairy, and frozen foods. Round it all out with 24 hour (not cheap) gas, PLUS Super Premium gasoline without ethanol for all your toys and power equipment.Easy to find on Route 25 in Wentworth, NH...friendly people, super sandwiches, and alcohol-free gasoline.It’s a gem of a family run business, one I think you will love, too!

They sell of course gas, ciggarettes, and beer, but also has meat, bread, milk and all the other essentials. Awesome staff and clean shared restroom. Did I mention you can also buy Lottery tickets? I highly recommend you stop on in if you're in the neighborhood.

It seems to me that if you live in the area you get better treatment. My husband and I stopped here on our way to Maine, from Ohio. Friendly at 1st, but then they were cold as ice. Don't you think they'd like the business no matter where you're from? We won't go back!!

I love shawnee's General Store they always have what I need including delicious steamed hot dogs that I cannot resist although I should try harder are very friendly staff and they are right on the ATV and snowmobile trails they also have ethanol free gas which I buy plenty of

Glad to see someone decided to open up a gas station and have it so its gas is 24/7 also glad they had high octane gas. I hope to see this place open many years to come.

Only store in town. Try the rat trap cheese and the mountain man products. Both are excellent and mountain man is locally made in Wentworth.
