This was our first time here, and it definitely won't be our last. Very nice and clean campground right on the edge of the river. The river is clean, swimmable, not rough at all. Lots to do, nice pool, pedal carts, trails, and fun activities, or just sit back and relax. Minimal wifi, which is good if you want to get away.Close to some good restaurants, and to Plymouth, not far from Newfound Lake or VT, great location for a good time in NH.

My wife and I stayed here looking for a quiet, clean woodsy campground to get away from the hustle and bustle of work. Pine Haven checked all the boxes. From the time I checked in with the wonderful woman in the office to the well stocked store. The bath facilities were very cleaned and seemed to be attended to at all times. The campground was clean everywhere you looked. The campsites were very large. The Baker river was great for afternoon relaxing with a tube. The campers around us seemed to be there for the same reason we were there. For peace and quiet and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We loved it and will definitely be back.Alan

Upon arrival for Memorial Day weekend, we were greeted with super friendly staff in the store. They offered us a cable booster box, we thought we knew how to hook it up but didn’t. So we went back down to the office and one of the owners came right down and helped us hook up the cable box (the Celtics playoff game was on). The staff is amazing and always putting safety first while still being friendly and helpful! There are many fun things to do at the campground, but also around the area! It is a great place for glamping in the woods. It was great for just adults, but also kid friendly. I can’t wait to come back here again! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

Black river was wonderful, but we were cramped in our area were we put tents up. Also had to keep picking up our heavy coolers because of mama bear roaming around. But I had a good time.Safety: Did not feel to safe with mama bear and 2 babies we had a small puppy, and we yelled and made noise still grabbed someone's cooler next to our camp and threw it.

We were able to secure site M1 for Memorial Day weekend. We were staying from 5/28 to 6/1. Email communications were great from the start. The reservation process was seamless and very easy. Our arrival time was going to be after the offices had closed and I was nervous about not having firewood but they were able to deliver firewood to out site for when I arrive AND I was able to properly check in in the morning! The staff is INCREDIBLE and the amenities are plentiful in the shop. Showers are free and water was hot which was a huge plus for me ☺️Even with all the cold and rainy weather we had, the experience they provided for us made it all worth while. Site was large and we were able to give ourselves privacy from our tents and cars. We will definitely be back again! Thank you!

Pine haven is a beautiful family owned and operated campground , it is quiet and relaxing unless the races are going on ! Which i wish I knew ahead of time I would have bought tickets to see the micro cars race while we were there! Awesome experience beautiful views and not very far from most of northern New Hampshire attractions, hiking, trains, tours, swimming ( its cold AF) . If you are tenting bring blankets nights can get very cold!

We went camping here over the weekend and had a great experience. The bathrooms were very clean, the campground was well organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They had a lot of items in their store as well as firewood and ice which were both reasonably priced for the amount you got. Our site was very private and located on the Baker River which we enjoyed swimming in with our dog. We will definitely be back again.

So I’ve been holding off on this review so I can get a few trips in to the campground before making an impulse review. I’ll be on my 4th time this summer coming back to this campground. It really is absolutely amazing. Just everything. The facilities, the landscape, the amenities, the River, the owners, the location (attractions/stores). Me and my family are not lazy people so the distance to the bathrooms or the hills are not a factor in my rating, I could care less. On my birthday, they came down and gave me a cake. There were flood warnings (we were on the river) and they willingly let us sleep under the pavilion for our safety. They allow me to book months in advance with ease and no worries. I’d highly recommend this campground to anyone compared to surrounding campgrounds. This is coming from a guy that has stayed at almost every campground (tenting) in the white mountains region. Also this year (which is why I was like, yes I’m posting a review) I put together my group chat and asked the crew, pinehaven or switching it up? Everyone said “pine haven”.Keep in mind also, me and my family are not picky people. So if you have super high standards or some crazy expectations to how a campground operates, I’d say save the owners a head ache and move on. We will be staying for many years to come!!!

Had a wonderful 3 days! Clean, well-maintained property. The staff are so friendly and go 24/7 to make your stay enjoyable! Whether you're an older couple or a busy family, there's plenty to do!3 days isn't enough time! We'll be back.

Last time we will ever go there. Pool was green all weekend along. Showers are very small and there is no privacy. You are in the bathroom stall across from the shower if your over 5'8 you can see right into the shower. The bathroom is dirty and the stalls are extra small. There are campers that stay for the summer some of there spots look like a junk yard. Our camp site was at the bottom of a hill. We all know what happens when it rains and your tent is at the bottom of a hill.. We left all our stuff at the camp and went and got a hotel. Never go backdumbagain

We had sites M5 & M6 over the 4th of July weekend. Check in was easy. Sites were spacious and woodsy. Bath House was a bit of a walk but they did have port a potty’s scattered throughout the campground. They had daily activities. Dogs were allowed. They sold camp wood and had a camp store. Saw a couple of playgrounds and they had a pool as well. We enjoyed our stay and it was quiet.

Very nice campground, staff was super friendly. If you like camping in a woodsy atmosphere this is great. The only negative is there is a race track near by and on Saturday it is very noisy in the campground. But the racing starts in the afternoon and stops around 8pm.

This campground is great! The tent sites right on the river are the best. Bring water shows to go right in the river. Bathroom is a little far away but the sites are private so we didn't mind. The ladies at the store are super nice. They have everything you need and are very helpful!

We'll start right off by saying the staff at the front desk are amazing! And oh hey they have beautiful dogs that are so friendly! They were awesome, even know we checked in late they still helped us with wood, and kept the store open later so we could get some supplies. The bath houses can use alittle updating, which I hear they are building a new one so well be keeping an eye out for that. We had a trailer with our fourwheelas and they provided extra parking for us so we didnt have to squeeze it on the site. The river isnt really for swimming more cooling off but was still nice. There is swimming right up the road in Warren that is beautiful. All the sites have fire pits with barbecue grates! I thought that was a awesome feature. All the tent sites are flattened and free of big rocks and such. I definitely recommend checking this place out. Make sure you see the dogs!!

We stayed here for two nights from a Sunday to Tuesday. We had a secluded site along the river. Our ideal experience is one of quite and seclusion and this site met all of our expectations. We went for a quiet walk had a nice fire and enjoyed a wonderful weekend.

The campground was clean and well organized. They had a lot of activities for the kids and the river was super fun for my 10 year olds. We can't wait to go back next year!

Pictures of the campsites down by the river where I stayed are deceiving , the site is sloped and no matter which way we set up our beds someone was going to be rolling off, there is a big drop off to get to the water ,so if you have young ones running around I suggest just strapping them on your back , one quick move and they will go over . I parked my car with the wheels turned all the way to one side for fear of my car slipping out of park and rolling into to the tent , stay out of R9,R8,R7,R6, oh ya and there is a race track across the river and it gets pretty loud when they are racing ,

Halloween was very spooktacular. A little better when kids trick or treating was on Saturday. (Some people didn't have Monday off) But still a fun time for all.Playground: Lots for kids to play on.Restrooms: Could use a better cleaning cycle.

Worst campground iv been to in NH, staff and management is unprofessional, no one is ever at the store for assistance, iv been harrased by employees there mutiple times for absolutly no reason. Dont even bother wasting your money here its not worth your time, plus there is not much in the area at all outside the campground, very boring spot.

Nice people running the place! Very large campground but spaced out in a way that it doesn't feel big. Lots of season rentals.
