People are very helpful even though they are short handed. I went in a got everything on my list and then some. I am short so I asked for some help. They were right there for me. I was happy that some one was willing to help me get an item from the top shelf. Thank you so much!😊

It has all the essentials necessary for daily life. From charcoal and lighter fluid, to hotdogs and baked beans you can find all your grilling needs here. You can get good bargains if you look around the crowded aisles on everything from cleaning and storage items, to groceries. Yes I did mention crowded aisles but every Dollar General has lots of items in small spaces. The staff is friendly and will help you find what you are looking for if you request assistance. All said I like coming here and recommend you come visit and see for yourself.

The store as a chain I like but this particular location always tends to lock there doors early. Which can be extremely annoying considering winter weather, gas, and finding a babysitter this time of night. one time eveneve hour earlier than the posted time without warning! That's unexcusable!! Tonight I got there at 7of 10:00pm and couldn't get in. Another person tried as well and even knocked on the door. The person working came to the door and said they were closed, the customer held up her cell phone and said it's 5of. Then the worker mouthed "my computer says it's 10pm" which I know for a fact she was lying because I have personally been in there@10:00pm with that same worker because she kind of laughed at my reaction to the lights shutting off all of a sudden and she told me herself that the whole store is automatic and it pretty much closes itself down at 10 she has no control over it. Needless to say the place was lit up like a Christmas tree therefore she knew full well it wasn't 10pm yet. Well another night and morning the kids go without milk..... Again. Thank you whom ever u are that is working the closing shift on Saturday January 26,2019!!! I hope whoever the owners are reads these. 🙏

We were out camping and the wife's shoes got wt. Went to nearby dollar general to get a cheap pair until hers dried. She grabbed a men's size which was huge on her. Went back to exchange for a women's size. They did the exchange without processing it thru the register so no new receipt. Brought the shoes back to her and they were too small. Went back to the store to exchange again but they didn't have the next size up. So I asked to return them. All this was within about 2 hrs( camp site is about 1/2 hr away) and the guy tells me he can only give me a gift card because the shoes don't match the receipt. I told him it obviously didn't because he didn't process the exchange in the register. So I nicely asked him to properly do the initial exchange so he could refund the 2nd pair. This is the same cashier in a relatively low volume store. It was only $10 but the point of the matter is he should have performed the exchange properly then he could have done the refund instead of giving me a gift card I can't use since I don't have a dollar general near me that I know of. This was in Wentworth, NH by the way.

Truth be told it's my favorite Dollar General! Everyone that works there is nice and down to Earth and willing to help you find whatever you need. They'll actually drop what they're doing to help customers including walking you to whatever product you're searching for.

More than half of my list was out of stock, some of those items for over a week! This is normal at this location and the carts used for stocking the shelves have been in the isles literally for months. DG needs to get somebody in this store that has an idea about running a retail outlet. A store isn't convenient when they don't have basic needs!

Great local place on 25 to get basics. Some things are good price. Some things are not. But the convenience can't be beat. Really cramped and crowded, but that's dollar stores for you.

Great new addition to the town. The hours are great too. Open later than everything else. Even has select sorts of groceries.
