My dog had a problem with a lump on her back. Appointment to see her was scheduled within 48 hours. Dr. Sullivan was gentle and knowledgeable and gave me treatment options. I elected surgery to remove it and that was scheduled promptly. I love dealing with Weare Animal Hospital and feel blessed they are looking after my dog.

I can’t say enough good things about this animal hospital and the staff here. They are so patient, kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. I call with questions/concerns all the time and if the answer isn’t known, they’ll ask the vet and will get back to me by the end of the business day. The vet personally calls me with lab results, good or bad. The rooms are always clean and quiet and they work so well with my anxious animals. I bring my 5 cats, 2 dogs, and tortoise here and have even brought in a stray cat to get checked. They’re the only ones I trust to perform procedures that require anesthesia (I am a nervous mama). They listen to my worries, and I mean actually LISTEN! It’s never as if they’re in a rush during my appointments. I am from CT and have had horrible experiences with vets, so I’ve experienced both ends of the spectrum. I’ve been going here for 3 years and drive 30 minutes one way to go here. Even if I move further away, I’ll make the trek here for them. They are 200% worth every penny.

Always a great visit at Weare Animal Hospital. The vets and front desk people are nice and knowledgeable. We were recommended by Milford police officer who takes his dogs....or dog has been since he was 7 mos... he's now 3yrs. This is the place we trust for all his needs.

We recently tried Weare Animal Hospital for our 1 year old pup and we will likely be switching from our old vet. I felt like the staff here really cared about my dog. They spent time with him to reduce his anxiety and talked to us about natural ways to help calm his nerves.

I cannot recommend Weare Animal Hospital enough! As a dog trainer that takes on "difficult" dogs and works with many, the staff go above and beyond to help dogs with big emotions feel safe. Their compassion and patience for helping both ends of the leash feel heard is such a gift!

At first, I was worried to take my boy Gus in to get neutered as I had heard of all the possible complications for a rabbit, and although he has four legs and floppy ears, he is like family to us. When I called Weare Animal Hospital, the receptionist was more than happy to answer all my questions- and trust me- there were a heck of a lot! We decided to go forward with them, and on the day of, was met with nothing but kindness and patience. They were the perfect balance of treating you like family yet still maintaining professionalism throughout the entire experience. I cannot stress how amazing they were enough! Their kind interactions and honesty allowed me to rest easy throughout the process, and I truly felt as though Gus was in good hands. He healed super quick and we had no bumps with his recovery. They even called us the next day to check up on him and still answered even more of my (admittedly not the smartest) questions. If you're looking for a rabbit-savvy vet to put your trust in, please at least give these guys a call. I am so happy we decided to go with them, and will most certainly be going back in the future for regular check-ups.Thanks everyone at Weare Animal Hospital! I took my bunnie recently for a procedure, they were very clear and open about it. They called before, and called after the next day to check on him. They also sent me home with everything I needed for after care. I feel the price is also reasonable. Very nice and friendly people! Would definitely go back!!

My reptile had a lesion and the drs and assistants were amazing! We were greeted, they even had his name on a whiteboard outside the exam room which was a great welcome! I was guided through everything I needed to do at home to continue his treatment and they also did everything they could onsight. I am extremely impressed and we will return! Thanks everyone! I was excited to bring my dogs here as I’ve always heard great reviews. Appointment went great however when needing a new prescription for preventatives due to misplacing originals we were told no. Clearly they don’t understand we’re human and don’t have your dogs best interest in mind when they’re denying a prescription for preventative care.

Visited Weare Animal Hospital for the first time with our dog a few days ago. I was incredibly impressed with their professionalism from the moment I walked in the door. What got me and will keep me returning is the way they interact with the dogs that makes the nervous pups feel more comfortable. They got right down on the floor to sit next to him and make sure he was feeling safe. My dog had been nervous and not done well at previous vets over the past few years. Here was a night and day experience and I was so relieved. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

You were the best before your new front desk crew. We had been with Weare Vet for over 10 years. We loved you! Felt so safe to be with you. Then came with the new front desk staff. All the replys we were given were "Call the emergency!" " Sorry. You need to wait!" Just today, by surprise, we found out that you deativated life-depending-compond drugs to our 14yr old minpin, with no notice. Thank God, Henniker vet picked it up on short notice! My God, what is happening to you???????????????? If I could rate WeareAnimal Hospital as -2 stars, I would.

I have been taking my pets to Mike and his team for well over 20 years. Of course it's convenient and I do have other choices. The reason I bring my pets to Weare and Hopkinton Animal Hospitals is because of the staff, they are knowledgeable, loving, caring, and they work as a team to get to know my pets, the good, the bad and the ugly. You can feel the compassion and love they have for animals in general. There is one last reason and it's the work Mike and his team do for the State of NH Department of Fish and Game, Wings of Dawn and the NH Audubon. Keep up the great work!

We're temporarily caring for a family member's dog and needed to bring him for a routine wellness check. When I first called as a new client the person who answered the phone was very pleasant and helpful. She even offered to reach out to the previous vet that our family member used to get past vet records since I didn't have any luck doing so. Weare Animal Hospital is very bright and inviting. The vet tech and the vet Dr Sullivan were both amazing with the dog we brought in and the whole experience was a positive one. We're not sure how long we'll be caring for this dog but we would definitely go back to Weare Animal Hospital and when we do rescue our own dog in the future we'll take our furbaby here! :-)

This was my pug puppies first vet visit, and I will tell you right now this place made him incredibly comfortable and even excited to be there. The staff was knowledgeable and incredibly accommodating to my dog. They even clipped his nails and showed us how to do so without him even noticing.Hands down, the best vet experience I've ever had. I cannot thank Weare Animal Hospital enough for their kindness, compassion and empathy while helping my sweet rabbit cross over the rainbow bridge. They graciously made time to fit him into their busy day so he didn't suffer.When I went to pick him up they saved a piece of his fur. My rabbit wasn’t doing well and they were able to get me in first thing in the morning. I knew going in it would most likely be bad news, but as soon as I got there both myself and my rabbit were treated with so much empathy, kindness and honesty. I wasn’t rushed, and they provided additional care at no cost. I wish I could remember who helped me this morning, but thank you so much for taking care of us and helping my little girl cross over peacefully.

I love this place! I changed vets during covid because the other vet I went to booked out months in advance. My dog had a skin rash and I didn't want to wait months for him to be seen. I called weare animal and they got him in within a week.They have late hours too, which is nice.My dogs are rescues and very skittish with strangers. The vet sat down on the floor next to my dog to gain his trust. I thought this was pretty special.

I've had my Hans McCaw for 30+ years. Last year his beak grew very long and for the first time ever he needed a trim. I researched, found Weare Animal Hospital, and brought Fred in. The doctor fixed him up gently and quickly and I was very pleased with the service.This year, he needed another trim so we went to their new office, Hopkinton Animal Hospital, very convenient, right off Rt 89 exit 4. Again we had prompt and very polite service.I'm so thrilled to have a place that treats exotic birds, and other pets, with such kind and knowledgeable staff. Very highly recommend!!

The facility was clean and the receptionists were great. There seemed to be some miscommunication between the previous vet office and this office as the vet tech was very persistent in a rabies shot for a cat that already had a valid rabies shot. Afterward, the vet was understanding and did not push the matter any further. By the time the visit was over, the other vet's office finally sent over the appropriate information. Just happy I didn't cave into the vet techs' unnecessary persistence. Other than that, the visit was great.
