The people are so friendly and fun.I have the several things including the pastries and everything has been so good.It’s clean and the dinning area has a great country feel to it. Dearest Jackie,I cannot begin to tell you how above and beyond your “sweet catering spot” exceeded my expectations!! I KNEW it would be great BUT I had no idea how incredibly great, delightful, abundant and delicious it would ALL be!People raved about the food! I was so happy to have the healthy (allergy sensitive) options! Our daughter, was thrilled as she often doesn't have options or they can be the same over and over!The food was simply more than perfect!The amount was great! We didn't have a tremendous amount over….. Enough over for good leftovers and to share some, but it was perfect!The GFDF frittata was a HIT! The quiche, bean salad, spinach salad, banana breads, GF Boule, cupcakes, treats allergy sensitive, carrot cake were all AMAZING! Not one thing was not just perfect!My husband also couldn’t believe how friendly and kind you all are! He said, “keep going back to them!!” And I sure will!Thank you again Jackie and ALL who helped with this delightful order!! The bridal shower was a great success and your catering made an already special event, a real delight ! Thank you!

I was able to go to Just Like Mom’s on a whim, unfortunately most of the time when I’m driving by there they are closed due to the time of day. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! I was not expecting so much from such an unassuming building! The lot has plenty of parking, the grounds and the interior are clean and tidy, the staff are professional and polite. There were so many options for pastries and goodies! I ended up getting multiple items. I even went back for their chocolate sugared donut after trying a sample — I usually don’t care much for donuts, but this one was literally one of the best chocolate sugared donuts I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place!

I recently moved to Weare and just found out about The Sweet Spot. I ordered a chocolate cake w chocolate frosting and I canonestly say it was the BEST cake I ever had; so moist and delicious! I then ordered the same cake for a subsequent gathering due to all of the positive reviews it got. That cake was equally delicious. Thanks Sweet Spot, due to your amazing cakes I have found my go-to bakery:)

Really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Make sure to get Jim's homemade Thanksgiving sub when available and don't pass up his pork pie for the holidays. It was the best I've had. Continued success to all of you at the Sweet Spot.

LOVE the Sweet Spot - great place, perfect name, wicked nice people. And see these donuts...they are the MOST DELICIOUS things I have EVER EATEN! I try to describe them to people and words fail me...they're SO GOOOOOD!! Strawberry Vanilla cake donuts with an orange sugar coating...OHMYWORD!! They're light as can be and melt in your mouth...and each flavor comes through on it's own, then they all mix together, then each one comes back on it's own again, and so on and so on until , without realizing it, you've eaten the whole donut! They are AMAZING! I would bring you some, but I would probably eat them all before I get to your house, so just go yourself!!

So I have to tell you, I typically eat very healthy foods. I am careful so as to not consume sugar and carbs. Once my husband and I decided to go in and everything we had was delicious. Unfortunately each time we go by there now, I go in saying I'm going to buy one thing and yet never come out with less than three delights, and by the time we get home they are all gone..Needless to say it is excellent. They have done a wonderful job there and they are so very cordial. I would highly recommend going and I just hope you have more willpower than I do!!

I have come here several times and each time I have been very pleased. It is a small and cozy place with great food and a good selection. The girl, Theresa, behind the counter was friendly, helpful and even recommended several of her favorite pastries. She convinced me to try a pecan sticky bun and graciously offered to heat it promising it would make it even better. It was superb! The sandwich she made me was delicious. I cannot say enough nice things about this bakery. I highly recommend it! Look for Theresa she is full of good recommendations and does it all with a smile. Thank you!

I would first like to start by saying this looked like a nice place and some of the pastries looked delicious. The staff at the counter was very nice. I am giving a 2 star review because this is definitely not a place to get specialty cupcakes. I called and spoke to the baker and she arrogantly informed me that she has made many Christmas cupcakes and they were $3.25 a piece. I asked for 3 dozen and would pick them up in a week. She informed me that they make santa, snowmen, and Christmas tree designs. When I picked up the cupcakes, they were all different sizes with no consistency. I was not impressed with paying $3.25 per cupcake that looked exactly the same as the ones I could buy at the grocery store for a fraction of the price. The cupcake had no filling , had no texture and was borderline just bigger than a mini cupcake. I had 50 people over and at the end of the night, there was only 6 cupcakes gone out of the 36 (I had one)... That pretty much says it all right there. Absolutely was not worth over $120!

The bread for the turkey melt was house made; crispy, chewy deliciousness! The broccoli cheddar soup had pureed vegetables in it and lots of flavor, but wasn't super creamy, which I prefer. The Eclair barely made it home, so tasty and creamy!Thank you, Jackie, and company for a delicious and healthy lunch!

The Sweet Spot is a real find. Everything is made from scratch, with ingredients you know the names of! The breakfast sandwiches come on a fresh made biscuit, and the sandwiches on home-made bread. The desserts are to die for. The lemon bars are super lemony, the eclairs are unbelievably rich and creamy, and even the donuts taste light and fresh. The bakery used to be known for its pies, and owner/baker Jackie has been improving on them. I’ve only had time to try to one, and I picked my favorite strawberry rhubarb. Both the crust and the filling were great. Jackie says the key lime pie is her best, so I have to try that next. The place itself is bright and cozy. It’s a nice spot to sit and enjoy some coffee and conversation. Chat with the new owners, Jackie and Jim. They are anxious to please. (They are not the grumpy owners mentioned in reviews from last year.) They take into account what their customers say and, as an example, have started baking some gluten free products because customers requested them. Long-time local residents, Jackie is an experienced baker who decided to open her own shop. She uses only fresh ingredients, and she knows what she’s doing with them! Jim is an old hand at breakfast treats and sandwiches. He’s introduced his grandmother’s pork pie (“Big Ma’s” pie). That’s a take-away item and I haven’t tried it yet, but other customers were raving about it. I highly recommend trying this place.

Cute place. Tried the 2 donuts that were available. They were really different, I got the impression they weren't fried, but they were delicious. The strawberry vanilla one in particular. Reasonably priced as well.

Favorite bakery and lunch spot! My husband and I get lunch here at least once a week. The business has recently changed ownership but there has been no change to quality. I am looking forward to seeing all the fun new things the new owners introduce.

Always an amazing time! Last time we stopped in for a little lunch and snacks. We even purchased a freshly baked dog bone for our favorite little fur friend at home. We love coming here and the quality is always top notch.

My family and I look forward to coming here everytime we are in Weare. Everything is fantastic but the trifles, biscuits and donuts are our go to items. The staff is also amazing, they know how much I love their trifles and always go out of their way to make them when I visit!

My husband and I had visited Just Like Moms for years now and just had them do our wedding cake. Karen is very easy to work with and the cake was delivered on time. The cake looked amazing and tasted amazing. It was more impressive than the venues food. Their cake pricing is fair for the market. Their food and desserts are always tasty on any day we go. Highly recommend!

I'm mad at myself for ignoring this place every time I've driven past it all these years! Excellent soup, croissants, sandwiches, pies... Nice to have a REAL bakery in the area! The little seating area is cozy and nice. The employees have been friendly, and you can tell the owner takes pride in the whole operation. I'll be back as often as possible!!

I love this bakery so much! Great sandwiches and pre-prepped food, and of course great bakery goods! I'm obsessed with the tiramisu and different flavored whoopie pies, but I haven't had anything there I didn't like. I usually stopped in for breakfast and coffee (and a treat for friends at work). I just got a new job, so I'm not passing by them everyday anymore, but they're worth the drive to keep going back.

Just picked up a carrot cake. Been getting them from Just Like Moms for almost 30 years. They did our wedding cake. Not any more as the recipe has drastically changed. Time to find a new baker.

We have been going there for years its our Christmas tradition., but no more. my wife called to aske to set aside a pork pie for Christmas eve. and she talked to the owner and was yelled at. the service has always been a little rude, but this was crazy. guess we will have to start new tradition . too bad.I know that one customer does not matter, but when the only bad reviews your business has is that the owner is rude , you would think she would change that. but i suppose its still popular she why would she if she is still be rewarded despite her behavior.

Just like moms.... literally! Fantastic little place where the Staff is great and Mom is just the best! Food is very hearty and the pies!!! Wow. Favorite is “Sex in a bowl” which my kids affectionately call “bleep in a bowl” is amazing.. darn... now I have to go get quiche! Be right there Mom!
