Ice cream is about as good as it gets. We ordered two cups and a dog ice cream, not sure the dog ice cream is any different than soft serve vanilla. Would have been a much better experience if the owner was less stressed. I understand it was a hot Saturday afternoon and they were continuously busy, however, what would anyone expect differently at an ice cream shop in July?

The flavored soft serve tastes great and they have a fun selection. The young woman working there is super sweet and kind. I've been a few times and come after I've had a bad or rough day because ice cream is a great thing to cheer yourself up with.... unless you're treated rudely for absolutely no reason.The last time I ordered, I forgot which size I had previously, so I asked about the difference between small and medium. The young woman asked her coworker, who was a tall man, and he answered in number of swirls. I'm more visual, so I showed an idea of size to get a better idea. There was no one else in line, and rather than a polite response of not being sure how to explain size, I got a rude dismissive, "well you just have to figure it out ma'am" that came off as if I was being rushed. No one is behind me. There should be nothing wrong with wanting size clarification. Shocked, I gave a little attitude back, saying, "OK, I guess I'll get medium, hopefully it's not too big then". I thanked the sweet woman there specifically for being kind and helpful.To add to my now bad day, upon turning around, my ice cream fell. The kind young woman replaced my ice cream with no issue, so I do appreciate that. I'm just shocked to have gotten a rude attitude for absolutely no reason. Who does that?!Ps. There was a sweet family there that saw me drop my ice cream. I'd like to thank them for being sweet and doing their best to cheer me up. Their kindness did help so if they see this, thank you.

Lot of great flavors, a little pricey but everything has gone up in price (thanks inflation 🤦🏻‍♂️). Owner was very nice and that brown butter bourbon ice cream was awesome. First time I've seen that anywhere. Lots of picnic tables to relax and enjoy but just a heads up, I didn't notice a trash can anywhere. There might be one I just didn't see it.

Super tasty ice cream (I think they make their own, Half Mast Creamery?), I especially love the fruit flavors like the blackberry soft serve and black raspberry! The bunny and chickens are so cute and come to visit you while you eat. I'm personally confused by the low reviews saying the staff aren't nice- I've never had that experience. They've always been friendly as they handle so much. The prices are good too; I've seen a lot higher for generic ice cream. Love bringing people here!

Quaint seasonal stand with fresh produce and local products. The ice cream is delicious and affordable; lots of varieties. I believe it’s run by the owners who are very nice and will answer all your questions regarding their variety of flavors :B

The absolute best ice cream ever. Try the buttery bourbon caramel (I think that's what it's called), the chocolate peanut butter cup, and black raspberry are my favorites! Lots of shady trees and comfy places to sit and enjoy your ice cream. There's also a farm stand that sells tomatoes, zucchs, corn, etc. Get your eggs there too. One-stop shopping, can't beat that! The owner is very courteous but he and the Squirrel Clown Posse seem locked in a never-ending battle royale! (They love the veggies, too!)

Family Owned, Sweet Roadside Goodness!In this day and age, it's important to support Family Owned Businesses. The congenial gentleman behind the window shared the fact that he and his wife have been running this lovely Roadside Market for 42... yes, 42 years. It's a very cute little place.The Ice Cream is yummy (and plentiful), my mums are blooming, and I will be carving my pumpkin tonight.Do yourself a favor and go get away from life for a bit, have an ice cream and relax in the seating provided. You won't be sorry!

Just came from Half Mast Creamery. We have had lots of great ice cream in lots of different places. At this little roadside shop, oozing with country charm and simplicity, we just had the best ice cream we have ever had.

Quite literally the best ice cream stand in NH. Hotdogs are amazing but the ice cream is even better, no matter what flavor you get. I always get cheesecake then add another flavor like strawberry for strawberry cheesecake 😊 Worth the 45 minute drive!

Pretty good time we had here on our first visit. We did try to come earlier in the year but learned that they open for their season after Mother's day. But today was our lucky day and we headed down for some family fun and ice cream. On our visit we were visited by some hens, a rooster and a bunny. Such a nice surprise! They have a lot of flavors and we will have to come back and try some others. The mint chip was my favorite out of the 3 flavors we tried. Cake batter was okay but I felt like it was missing something. Strawberry was also delicious. We will definitely be back again to try something new!

Following up on my wife's post, and the owner's comments to it:We were in line, with about ten people in front of us, when the owner started yelling at this group of Hispanic people. It was not "loud talking", as the owner claimed. Everyone in line started looking at each other very uncomfortably. Then the owner yelled, "I gave you all your ice cream!" and slammed the window shut.Based on observations, and conversations with the girls in question, it seems that the following happened:This group ordered 4 ice creams. The owner messed something up, so they mentioned it, and she went to make them a new one. Shortly after, a different girl working handed out an ice cream, and one of this group took it, thinking it theirs, but it belonged to another couple. So she tried to give it back (maybe she ate some before realizing), but the woman refused to take it or replace it, and basically said that she had already given them all the ice cream they were getting.Is it possible some of these facts are incorrect? Sure. But one thing I am 100% sure of: only one person in all of this was yelling, and that was the owner. The group in question was trying to get their order sorted out, and the owner yelled at them, slammed the window, and quickly escalated with the threat of calling the police. I highly doubt she would have done that to me or my wife, so yes, I think it's quite fair to say that there was a racial element to all this, despite her denials. EVEN IF this wasn't motivated by racism, it was a terrible way to treat people.It's amazing to me that rather than just work to satisfy their order, the owner chose to yell at some young women and escalate the situation by threatening to call police. Maybe that would have cost her an ice cream? Well, you lost all our business that day, as well as any business we might have given in the future. We will not be returning.(I'm not sure why the original review by the women in question is no longer here; it was a valid review and should not have been removed)

Picked up 3 beautiful hanging plants and ice cream too. Been going for years and never disappointed. Know and love the owners. There can be a wait when ordering ice cream at times, as there are only 2 scooping. Just be patient, as it's worth the wait. 😋

We just left there and a young group of very polite Latinos were letting them know their ice cream flavor was wrong. The woman screamed at them slammed the window in their face and yelled to say she was calling the police. Our family approached them to support them and they told us they were handed the wrong ice cream and then when they tried to give it back the worker wouldn’t take it. They insisted it was customer’s fault. The worker came out around the window and said she would call the cops again. She told us they had been there an hour already. They were not because it is a hot day and their ice creams were not melted yet! This store was completely racist to this young group. It was horrible to wat h. My husband said “Would you say this to me or call the cops on me?” My young children witnessed this and saw racism firsthand. A bunch of others left the line at the same time. I should have offered to buy them ice cream somewhere else! So sorry they went through this. :(Edited to add that the group that this happened to wrote reviews as well but they were deleted by the establishment. How does Google allow that?

Was planning on getting ice cream there this afternoon but opted not to as the guy there was rushing us to decide and claimed that he wasn't even open until 130 when it says noon online..overall was just treated very rudely so we said screw the ice cream and went to Dimitri's where we were treated with respect..hopefully the guy was just having an off day but I definitely will not return

Was there the other day and over heard the worker giving a customer a hard time about switching out his ice cream for a different one. Ice cream wasn't that good and the worker wasn't very professional.**Edited to reply to owners comment**I'm not sure if you're thinking of the other persons review that were talking about the group of people but I am not talking about the same person. There was a younger gentleman that had ordered an ice cream cone and brought it back because it tasted like sour milk and you gave him a hard time about it and used profanity towards him.

Called to simply ask the prices of their mums. I was thinking about bringing my family there to get icecream and purchase mums. The woman I spoke to was extremely rude. Right away I was given attitude. She said they have different prices due to various sizes they have...which I understood. I asked what was the cheapest one just to get an idea and her response was "I don't know and I don't like giving prices over the phone." I thought that was very odd. Then she went on and said she was with a customer and that she had to go. Not the best customer service...

I've been coming here for years. Ice cream is fine, farm produce is fine.I stopped by yesterday, about 4:30 in the afternoon. After waiting for 5 minutes, we realized that the counter server was hanging out in the parking lot, taking to some people in a car. After about another 5 minutes of waiting, we left, without getting ice cream.The counter server never even noticed we were there, she was too busy running her mouth to sell us 2 lousy ice creams.If you want to hang out in a parking lot without getting service, I would recommend this place. Otherwise, beware. You might leave empty handed.

Everytime we go different price . For three ice cream 15.69 and one women order 4 ice cream for 15.79 how Is that. Very rude makes us wait as they give out other after us. Been there a few times every ti.e different price think he makes his on price we order the same every time.

Overpriced for what it is. Workers not very friendly, seemed inconvenienced by us being there. We paid 4.25 for a soft serve kiddie cone with sprinkles. Didn't taste as delicious as I wanted. Playing with the chickens was fun.
