Could barely walk through half the isles. I had to turn sideways to get past all these inventory carts. These carts can pose a hazard during a fire or other situation. Blocks some of their products.Cashier was very friendly and other than the carts the store was clean.

Looked good for 2 weeks before the isles were unpassable. Staff hang out in the back or outside and are rude to customers. I dislike coming here on every level unless I have to. On my last unfortunate visit, I bought milk and the cashier dropped it and it broke open and smashed all over the ground. I said I was going to get another one and so I did. After my purchase was complete she put the broken milk back in the fridge to sell. This place is the worst business to open in Weare because there is zero pride in anything they do.

If I was to review this store a year ago would have been a 1-2 but I been repeatedly coming back shopping here for well over a year now, seems to be under new management now from before and just overall the whole shopping experience is better! Products are always in stock now! The store isn’t a mess anymore nor closed midday like it constantly was! The new management really brought the store back from the grave! The employees are always so helpful and friendly and make my shopping experience so easy!

The staff are insanely rude to the point of watching me at the self-checkout while pretending they aren’t by just moving things around the same spot right behind the register or standing there talking to each other about LITERALLY nothing, they were just saying random things like I couldn’t hear them or something? I was with my son and he thought it was weird that they weren’t having a real conversation too. I’m autistic (level 1) and have severe social anxiety so I tend to avoid social situations but I’m not deaf or dumb! AND I’M NOT A THEIF!!! Also, there’s gotta be cameras EVERYWHERE (including the one that points right at me at self-checkout) show me some actual footage that makes you think I’m stealing instead of just assuming because I prefer self-checkout to making small talk with some stranger. I go in there with my son regularly for odds and ends because it’s close and the only thing we have in this damn town that’s not insanely over-priced only to be treated like a criminal. It’s disgusting. 0/10 do not recommend. Plus it’s a garbage heap all the time because the staff is obviously more concerned with making customers uncomfortable than ACTUALLY DOING THEIR JOBS! If it wasn’t saving me gas I’d stop going there altogether.

Was in store Saturday 12:45 when I witnessed a store employee raising her vioce and ordering an older woman ( not yet elderly) to use self check out (which had an out of order sign on it) cause she was doing something and didn't want to ring her up.When the older woman said its out of order your employee got louder saying it isn't till she ran around the counter and saw the sign herself. After which the older woman said told you it was broken with her finger raised ( in no derogatory way) The employee began screaming don't be pointing your finger in my face!!! ( her finger was nowhere near her face or even directed at her) then the employee went on to telling the older woman to get out of her store.That's when I said why are you kicking her out? That the woman did nothing wrong and that she the employee was wrong. And told the older woman she did nothing wrong. The woman seemed to be very confused as to what was even going on. Or why she was being kicked out of store. When she asked for a manager and the girls name (which name tag was flipped around so we could not see it.) That's when I put all the stuff I was buying down and told the older woman I'm leaving with her and waved my hand as walking out. Thats when that same employee began having yet another melt down yelling at me not to whoosh my hand at her.Spoke with the older woman outside for a few minutes before leaving. She was visibly shaken and confused about what had just happened. Told her she did nothing wrong and that the employee was totally wrong.Total disrespect and has no place dealing with customers.As for me? I was taught and believe in respecting older people and don't know what is wrong with these people today. Not to raise your voice as to try and intimidate them. The employee took the defensive position once I spoke up and she new she wasn't getting away with bullying an old woman.Suggest employer look at video since it all happened in front of registers and from door and deal with this unstable employee.And once again I'm writing this as a bystander...

What's with these whiners in the review section. They act like a dollar general should have a literal General and Sergeants standing there ready to serve you, with white glove level cleanliness and organization.ITS A DOLLAR GENERAL, you go there when you forgot something at the grocery store. Atleast it's in Weare and not Atlanta where you'd get stabbed or robbed while shopping.Quit complaining and/or don't go if the DOLLAR GENERAL doesn't meet your insanely pretentious standards.

This is the best dollar general in the state they get to know their customers make sure their shelves are always stocked in between customers they remember products that customers buy and make sure they’re stocked and they are always friendly I never wait in line even if they are stocking shelves they run up to the register to check us out quickly, awesome employees!

Everytime I go in this store the employees seem to not take there job seriously and are always just standing by the cash register talking and joking around when it seems to me they should be stocking the roll tainers that are sitting in the aisles doing nothing. I used to work at the one in henniker so I know what I'm talking about
