Stopped in here after a day of scouting with my hunting buddy. This shop is a great little shop, with a super friendly family running the kitchen. The food was awesome, try the chili burger. I LOVE eating at places like this. The little town is cozy too adding to the experience.

Always friendly people and a great place for local events. Local snowmobile club has a place to fill up on gas and food. Local hikers and other travelers can get a great feel for this iconic small town business. Nice to run into neighbors and catch up on news, plus the grill has those comfort meals we all love.

Super tasty breakfast and coffee, service by attentive people. Amazing vibe in this place, if you pass you have to stop. Everything you need if your camping. Bread, cheese, sausages, instant café, beers, chips, milk and plus. The owner has a this amazing smile she is the heart of this town I m sure.

My family and I visit this store every four years or so when we hit up the nearby lake. It's a really nice general store (or G-store as the kids call it). You can go to the bar inside or even sit down at a table and order breakfast or lunch. There's a unique ambience about the place that really ties the whole Washington, NH downtown business district together. I also enjoyed the plants for sale, although I didn't buy any.

Spent the weekend camping and this little general store was absolutely perfect for everything we needed. A great selection of items, food, and friendly service. We also stopped in for breakfast and the food was great- especially for the price. We also loved their dog and how happy he was to see all of the customers. This little store saved the day and more!

I love the Washington general store! Whenever I visit my parents, we always have to swing by for a bite to eat. Great food and people. There’s even cell phone reception now (which if you WFH and want to step out for lunch, this is a top tier perk!)

My 18 wheeler got stuck here overnight due to a bad snow storm. Thankfully the people in this town were more than helpfull. Multiple residents even offered a room in their home for me and my bro to stay. This store means alot to me and I feel like family just from that 1 night back in February. Food is great and the people here are so tenderhearted. Don't know if I'll ever be back that way in awhile due to my job but I will always have a place in my heart for the Washington General Store. I wear my shirt proudly!

Great staff, local convenience. Decent beer choices. Chicken fingers and pizza good eating. Fish and chips not what expected. Store bought Frozen fish patties. Overall decent for what's close to camping

They now except debt/credit!! Not much phone signal up here so come prepared. Great staff and great food. Essentials for your home on hand. Perfect store to pause at for a quick bite or to resupply on your hike.

What a great place! The Food is so good.As a veteran it's so nice to know that the owner is also a Veteran. They have all your needs there the staff are wonderful, great service! Everyone that I meet are kind and wonderful. The local are wonderful going to miss everyone

The store and grill are terrific. Breakfast and lunch are my favorite times to stop in to eat. The folks there make me feel like I am visiting with family. Love it.

Once you find Washington, NH, you will treasure the finds here. Being a neighbor of the store (in Marlow, just over the mountain), we rely on the store for those little "emergency" items on the way home, especially since they are the only store for miles. The staff is always friendly and I have never gotten any food that didn't please. It's like Mayberry in New Hampshire.

First of all, they have cold brew. Wasn't expecting that. The hot breakfast looks good. They have fresh baked cookies and pastries. Good sandwiches. Friendly staff.

Has a little bit of everything, but not much of anything. Friendly folks. Has a grill and a counter with meat etc. Can be pricey, but it is the only place around. Get your Washington hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts here!
