Great place to camp! This camp ground is very clean and the grounds are well taken care of. The bathrooms and showers were clean, It was quiet at night making it easy to relax . The pool and splash pad were in great shape and our son and nephews loved it , they also had 2 nice play grounds at both ends of the property for the kids . We will definitely be back !!

We were pretty disappointed and won’t be coming back. Our tent site was so small that the fire ring was in the parking spot. We didn’t have a lot of stuff: just one tent and one car. The sites were right on top of each other—we could hear conversations on both sides. We also found the people to be quite rude, complaining about our autistic child being loud well before quiet hours, only to find people whooping and hollering after midnight and even watching TV outdoors! The pool is dinky, you need quarters to run the shower, and the “bathrooms” are porta-potties. We have spent many happy weeks in NH, and highly recommend Franstead Family Campground and Plymouth Sands Campground, among others.

So overall, I really enjoyed this place, but there were some issues with the people that go as well. Since it is inexpensive compared to a KOA. People visiting have no sense of personal space are rude and refuse to follow a majority of the rules, and yes, they are out of state riff raff. Multiple times, people crossed into our site while we were eating and behind our site to visit the water. Which, in my opinion, were not entitled to. You pay more for a premium spot it should come with a little more privacy. There could be solutions to that. General access to the river in a designated spot would be a good way to contain that. I'm not sure if that is viable but would be a good option to look into. I'd definitely go again, just not for the weekend or holiday. Enough of the negative. The staff and owners are great people, and their general store had a lot of great items that Walmart didn't even carry. The play areas are pristine and pool well maintained, as well as heated, I believe.

Scenic View is our favorite campground in NH. We've been visiting for the last 8 years. Every year there's a new reason we love them more! They're campsites are grass covered (lovely!!) Their playground/pool area is very family friendly. Their staff is incredible and caring! We've never had a frustrating experience with any staff member, even when we had to call a few times in a row to handle multiple bookings with their new system. We just can't say enough good things about this wonderful campground in a quiet part of NH! Highly, highly, recommend!!

What a great time!What more could you ask for? Waterfront site, beautiful scenery; it was great. Smaller campground but was extremely clean and well maintained; the staff was so friendly; made me feel like family and we’re accommodating; they really went above and beyond to make our trip the best it possibly could be. As we left we both said that we would totally come back.Camp store sells the essentials; but they also sell propane; which was great when we ran out our first night. The river is nice and peaceful. Wi-Fi coverage was good at our site. We will totally be back and THANK YOU Scenic View Campground, it was our first trip and we made memories that will last forever. 10/10 I would recommend.

Absolutely terrible experience. It was a good vibe when we got there but if you go camping to catch up with friends over a campfire just casually talking having a couple beers this isn't the place for you. We are honestly not loud people. We were asked to leave because we stayed up talking until 1am. Honestly talking in normal tone not being obnoxious as casual as it gets. With absolutely no warning last night what so ever we were asking to leave this morning. I'm appalled to have spent any money at this place and wouldn't recommend to anyone. What's wrong with asking someone to wrap it up and be quiet if it's an issue? Unbelievable really.

Nice park with a friendly staff. The fishing in the Brook was amazing. We stayed in a tent site which was well groomed with vegetation between sites that provide privacy. Unfortunately the tent sites back up to the highway so you hear the traffic day and night and it's loud.

This is a very nice and clean campground. The owners, however, are not very friendly. They do not have people skills which made it for a very unpleasant stay. They are "running a business" which I can understand, however when the business is a family campground, one would think they would acquire some manners. In my many, many years of camping, I have never encountered such arrogance and rudeness. When trying to have a conversation with the female owner to express my concerns I was met with shoulder shrugs, and "oh well"Not a place to bring your family for a fun camping experience.

I cannot give enough stars! Scenic View was really clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We rented the Rustic Cabin for two nights with two kids. The cabin was super clean and very welcoming. There are plenty of trails and rivers near by to explore on and off the grounds as well. We will be back for sure! Thanks Carole & Staff for an unforgettable experience.

Camped on site #32 which was a nice and roomy back in site with full hook ups. We enjoyed our time here. Plenty of families and kids but people respecting each other’s space and everything settle downed by quiet hours. We will come again.

My family has been coming here for several years now, usually twice a year. It is quiet and the staff is always very friendly.The pool is very clean and we have a lot of fun with it and my youngest loves the splash pad.As long as you're respectful to others and quiet late at night the night staff will leave you alone.Rules are not as strict as a few people have said.

Nice place and yes there is a bit of a view of a few of the area mountains from some of the sites. New playground being installed and looks like it will be great. There is a dump station outside the campground entrance and laundry area. Pool quickly got crowded as it is the main attraction. Would be nice to see another pool or much larger one put in and some pool rules reinforced if their going to have them.Camp was somewhat clean but there were quite a few cigarette butts around and fire pits desperately need cleaned and attention.Other than those few things camp staff was very friendly and store and great amount of supplies and was well priced. We wouldn't hesitate to return especially to see the new playground!

Sites are nice and level. All of the hook ups worked well. Pools was warm and clean. Bathrooms are very clean. Staff was freindly and helpful. The river is very nice. Full of fish. One that was hanging in a deep hole was at least 24 inches. I recommend staying here.

Family owned, we have been coming here for four years. Quiet place. Every one here is friendly staff is all amazing. Even the dog is friendly. I purchased a timeshare in the white mountains but I still choose to come here. Pool is warm, bathrooms and showers always clean. Any problems its taken care of within minutes. About 40 minutes from big attractions but you can just sit here all day and enjoy the peace and quiet

Read all the rules and allowances before you book. Be sure you can adhere to every rule to the letter of the rules because no exceptions or bending of the rules will be accommodated. Expect smallish sites, inconveniently located fire rings (that were not cleaned out), and relatively clean porta potties.

We just finished 6nites. 7days there. Campgrounds very small. Clean, well kept. Not a fan of sites. Many are close together and quite open. Had nice pool. They were strict with kids around 8pm. And first few nites we were rite next to loudest people.most of Ladies in office were nice and very helpful. I wouldve gave this 3-4.. until we were charged $25 late checkout fee. Checkouts 11am. We had staff come around at 1030 and 1105 seeing wut we were up to. Noticing we were struggling getting popup down. I explained that to the staff member. Didnt get out till 1220. Which IS LATE. i get that. However we just spent paid 6nites there. The sites were COMPLETLY EMPTY. in our whole area. We werent holding anyone up. We werent slacking around started packn up 8am. Had popup pole sieze up. And were immediatly charged late fee.

Great campground. Very friendly staff, nice clean heated pool, cute splash park for kids, fun activities for kids and nice sized sites. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because internet was very iffy and no cable. Will definitely be going again.

My family will never stay in this campround again due to the victimization we endured during our recent trip. Despite our best intentions, the staff ostracized and targeted us because we did not interpret the rules the way they thought we should. When we questioned vague definitions of the policy the staff responded with intimidation and harassing actions directed towards our family. They continued to further censor any public outcry in regards to our experience. We were willing to look past the staff disregard of their own policy during our stay if they had at a minimum, treated us with the courtesy and respect we deserve. Since that did not happen I would encourage you to address the following violations we were subjected to during our recent visit. While our experience can not be changed, future patrons visits may be improved.We witnessed staff driving at speeds exceeding posted limits inside the grounds even with kids present. At the playground the rules clearly stated the children are not to play at the playground after dark. With kids consistently unsupervised and screaming and yelling well after quiet hours on the playground, it became more apparent only certain rules were being enforced.When my family went to enjoy the pool, directly across from the office, we observed the rules clearly stating there is no jumping or diving. I thought it would be safe to be in the pool with a baby given the posted guidelines. I was wrong. I had to physically leave pool for the safety of my baby due to kids jumping repeatedly into the pool. I did not feel it was my responsibility to police other patrons. What frustration to witness no staff available to address this safety concern.Examining the actual facility, I had various concerns. The showers were disgusting! While the river scene was beautiful, it was not safely accessible due to being covered in fallen trees.The lower level of the campground only offered porta potty’s, which seemed like a viable option for patrons. In this case it was disruptive throughout the entire night due to the slamming of the doors.From our direct observations during this stay it became apparant that staff seemed to select which rules to enforce, when to enforce those certain rules, and against who to enforce the rules. The indiscriminate staff enforcement of policy poses a safety risk to all patrons, far more than any patron questioning a vague rule! I encourage you to step up to the plate and use this feedback to make a difference to all campers in the future.

This was a nice campground sites were nice cabin was great clean and comfortable BUT When we checked in I was told I needed to leave $100 security deposit this may have been In the written confirmation and I overlooked it but they never mentioned it verbally when I was making the reservations so I’m glad I had the means to pay it when I arrived. And secondly I just received a voicemail stating that I was going to be deducted $25 from my security deposit due to red marker/crayon All over the picnic table that could not be washed off so it would have to be sanded down and re-stained. I immediately called the office back as there is no way there could’ve been marker or crayon on that table as we only sat at it maybe an hour the first night because we spent the rest of the time at my sons campsite. There were no children that had been behind the cabins at the picnic table the whole weekend. When I spoke with the woman at the office she said that it wasn’t there when they inspected prior to arrival on Friday and when they went to do the check in it was there on Sunday that she could send us pictures. Hi I’m not gonna dispute with her I do not need to see pictures because I know that there was nobody at that table with markers or crayons. So unfortunately this is disheartening to me as I as an honest person had seen this I would have definitely let them know. Who is the family had both cabins rented and an RV site and two tent sites not sure after spending that much money at this campground and this interaction if we will come back

We checked in on a Friday and left Saturday evening due to impending weather that with current site conditions didn't make us feel safe. We stayed in the "tent sits / nature trail" area on our trip. I'll start at the beginning: When we arrived the site was not cleaned, our fire place was 1 inch from full of coals and the site was not level. After our set up of our belongings we decided to walk the nature trail and check things out. We found that there was damage from a previous storm to the trail and river banks. The river bank erosion caused a group of birch trees to start up rooting and they were leaning directly at the tent sites? Guest walk there dogs down the trail and most don't clean up afterwords leaving a lovely smell at our site. Free wifi, worked great IF you were part of the main camp ground, the amenities were clean, but needed repairs. Men's bathroom had loose toilets. Play structure my daughter told me had a hornet's nest in it and in multiple spots the pools liner was not attached. The camp store is WAY over priced and the available wood is green but you can buy kindling for $6 on top of the $5 camp wood to assist in lighting. If we had chose a different site our opinion may have changed but we didn't want to be in a field while camping. The positive, staff was nice do offer events on weekend nights. This camp ground wasn't for us and wont be returning. When we checked out at 10:30, I told the gentleman that we couldn't take the chance of "severe weather warnings" with the trees lingering over our site he looked at me as if he had no clue they were there. Honestly I believe the "blueberry, BlackBerry, poplar" sites should be closed until they get the amediate danger trees taken care of. Sorry couldn't leave a better review.

A great place for camping. Green, spacious and clean. Has a swimming pool and playgrounds. Has cabins for families who prefer it over tents. Restroom services could improve. Various sightseeings within a reasonable distance. Flume Gorge is a must!

Very overpriced for what it is. Rules were not clear. Our kids were biking and told to go back to the site because it was dark although it was about 40 minutes before dark. Staff was rude except for the lady in the office. She was pleasant. Probably will not return.

Second year in a row, had a great time. Just booked six sites for all our friends next year. Other than the WIFI being a little slow, this place is great. But maybe that's not such a bad thing if you think about it. 😁
