We've been taking our cats and dog to Walpole Vet Hospital for the past 3.5 years. All of the doctors and staff have been amazing, especially Dr. Sandy who is incredibly patient, thoughtful, and knowledgeable even when our senior cats have multiple unusual medical issues happening at once. Procedure and treatment prices are also very affordable. I would highly recommend this practice.

If I could give Walpole Vet Hospital a thousand stars I would! Dr. Simon, Dr. Sandy and the staff here are incredible. I have been taking my pets here for years and have always been treated with kindness, professionalism, and a high level of expertise.Recently we lost our beloved dog due to liver cancer and Dr. Simon was fantastic through the entire process. He is tremendously knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate. He explained things to us in ways we could understand. He did absolutely everything he coulduu to help our dog. At the end he kept our dog comfortable, and supported my family and I. He gave us the absolute best care.I will always take my pets to this wonderful place! ❤️

Definitely recommend this vet office! Amazing doctor, kind tech, and very sweet reception. The doctor was so gentle with my cat, and talked me through everything she was doing. The appointment was a quick in and out, and inexpensive. I’m very pleased with my experience here! :)

I just started taking my three cats to Walpole Veterinary Hospital this year when I moved to the area and needed a new vet. Dr. Sandi has been great with all three of my cats, and the rest of the staff are very friendly and professional. I always feel welcomed and Dr. Sandi is very compassionate with my animals, and does a wonderful job making sure I understand my animals health needs and options. Walpole Veterinary hospital has let us down twice when we have asked for our dog’s immunization records to be forwarded. The first occasion we had to reschedule our plans when our daughter showed up at the kennel to drop off our dog and was told they didn’t have his vaccine records. I had requested the records be forwarded to our kennel weeks prior to our trip. My husband and I were already out of town and our daughter was dropping our dog at the kennel, so we couldn’t just get home to grab our copy. At the time I blamed myself because I should have followed up with the kennel to make sure they had received the records. Yesterday morning I called the hospital because a campground I was checking into later in the day needed proof of vax for our dog. I asked if they could please email me the records. I explained that I needed them for that afternoon. She said she had my chart up and would do so. Noon still had not received an email so I phoned again, thinking that perhaps the email address they had taken down was incorrect. She confirmed she had the address and said they would send it. Never received an email. Very disappointed. We’ve lived many different places with pets over the past 30 years and this is the first veterinary clinic that has been unable to handle this common request.

My husband called Walpole Veterinary Hospital this afternoon trying to get some help for our kitten. The woman he spoke with was very unprofessional and had a snarky tone when he said once had pets that went to them. We don't have those pets as they have passed on and after the way he was treated on the phone, I will never do business with this place ever again. Please speak to your staff about how they speak to people. Not everyone is comfortable on the phone and may have a hard time asking for the help they need. Being rude and nasty is not okay. I'm pretty sure whoever he spoke to wouldn't like it if they were treated as my husband was today.

I have been trying to get my cat in to be seen. It says on the website you have evening hours. I called Tuesday evening and got the answering service and he said the hours were only 8-5. Think you need to change your website hours. I know you are probably short staffed like everyone else, but it would be nice to know what your hours are, and maybe put on your website that you are sorry for the inconvenience, but we are not having evening hours due to short staffing. Thank you!

My dog is now 4 1/2 but has been going to WVH since he was 10 weeks old. I will never take him.to any other vet unless there is an emergent situation and WVH is closed for the night. All of the staff is wonderful, from the office workers who answer phones to the Doctors themselves. They never over charge and are always transparent about cost for procedures and visits. I have had a few dogs in my lifetime but never have any of them had such wonderful care until I found Walpole Vet Hospital. 100% caring, compassionate staff who provide the utmost care to my dog. Thank You Walpole Vet. Your staff and Doctors are, by far, the BEST in our county.

The care we have received for our pets over the last 6+ years from this place has just been fantastic.Between 6 cats and 3 dogs, we have been there more than a few times (more like 20+)They always explain all options for treatment and are very upfront with associated costs etc.The staff is very friendly.I have to say this is definitely the best care I have had for any of our animals.I will not go anywhere else.

My cat needed dental work done and the vets closer to where I live charged more than I could afford on a fixed income as a disabled person. Walpole Veterinary Hospital charged us much less, without sacrificing quality. During the pandemic pet parents are instructed to park in one of the number labeled spots and call, and a technician comes out to get the pet and sign off on any work that needs to get done. They offered to call me for approval before going forward with any extractions but I came prepare that one or more teeth would have to be pulled so I told them to just go ahead and do what needs to be done. I will update my review tonight based on the results of the procedure. I asked about microchipping and they said it costs ~$70 and can be scheduled as a fairly quick vet tech appointment.

Walpole Veterinary Hospital should be ashamed of themselves. They consistently put policy over patients. I work with disabled individuals who unfortunately do not have the option to travel for veterinary care and so use Walpole Vet out of necessity. Most recently, Walpole vet refused care for my disabled client's very ill and likely dying cat (this client is an established client of Walpole vet). I was forced to bring said cat to my own vet who took him without hesitation. There, he was euthanized. Walpole Vet made this experience and heartbreak all a little more awful.

Our pets always get great care. We get timely appointments. Our experience has been that the Veterinarians are competent, compassionate, and have not pushed for expensive procedures. The staff is very accommodating and, again, in our experience, ever present.

My parents have been taking their dog here for years. While visiting my parents, my dog ate something she shouldn't have and needed immediate care. We called them right away and they made time to see her in under 15 minutes from the time of the call. Their staff is knowledgeable and skilled and have unique and efficient ways of approaching animal care.

They were a great great vet. We had a emergency animal pet of ours and we weren't a patient there yet but let us come in and took us in so soon and helped our pet Rat and he wasn't doing well but she did all she could do for him and sent us home with a lot of meds and told us to just do what we needed to rhat way he was as comfortable and did a turn arpund today so we fell in love with the vets and all the employees that helped us you are all a life saver and it means so so much to know you all care about our pets as much as we do they are great and we could tell just by the manner they all treated us they will always be our vet for all our animals and they all are a part of our family too.

They have absolutely been great with my German Shepherd Nero. They handle emergencies very well but unfortunately it takes some time to get an appointment. I'm sure it's because they're so popular.
