This is by far the best lumberyard/hardware store EVER. Molly is particularly knowledgable/helpful, their staff reins supreme in comparison to big box stores. Even in these pandemic times, when supply issues make it tougher I have always found what I needed there.The paint department is the best.

Ordered a small load of bricks to be delivered to my home and had no issues. The price per unit was fair, the delivery was timely and the driver gave me a hand unloading and stacking the bricks next to the work area. I plan on making future orders when the next big projects rolls around.

I’d agree with the negative reviews! The older woman at the counter was arrogant and not helpful! I’d have never stopped as lavalleys is a local joke for prices and service but before 7:30 there’s no other options. Next time I’ll gladly sit in aubuchons parking lot till 7:30. The words that should describe my experience are ones I won’t write. My advice go anywhere but here

Customer service sucks! Front desk people always seem miserable. Never find help as you wander thru there store. First time I was there I was mocked by the management and laughed at. And they are never open late Home Depot, aubuchon, and J&H are always open late plus have friendly workers that help you! I've been to many hardware stores this by far the worst experience ever! Smile once in awhile people are there to give you their hard earned money!

While entering the store read a sign stating masks were optional. Customers walking in unmasked as well as three counter people unmasked as well. Really folks! Bad for business! I won’t be coming in again!

They tried their best in copying a car key, admit that my cars keys are weird, but at least I have a valet key now...? Heh.

What a joke!!! Talked to Molly to see if they had a ton of pellets available for pick up. “ yup we have 6 ton available “. Drive over there, now they claim, “ no pellets available, we are weeks behind”. Talked to the AKA big shot, “John”. What a waste of time!!! Matter of fact he rudely told us to “Hit The Road”. Worst business attitude I have ever seen. This place is a waste of time, they certainly don’t have there act together.

Don't go there for any flooring project. I wish the owners would come and see the two rooms they put down carpet there are more seams than NH has roads.

Well I see that the ad for Lavalley in Walpole NH say that people spend an average of 15 mins. in the store. Do you know why? Because Lavally sucks , they're nothing but price gouging a**holes!!
