We have camped here for the past 3 summers in our truck camper. It is absolutely beautiful, especially the sites along the river. We found it to be clean, quiet, and the well maintained.Having the restaurant there is a bonus for nights we just didn’t feel cooking.(the food was great and they even have cannolis!) Bathrooms were sufficient and well taken care of. We bring our small dog with us, who enjoys it as much as we do! We have never encountered any problems with any of the staff, they were always friendly and accommodating. We love it here and can’t wait to return this summer!

Had a great time over Memorial Day weekend. As young adults who camp a lot this campground was nice for an easy relaxing weekend. We prefer more privacy and sure the camp sites are close together, but that’s not something the owners can help. Just look at the map when booking to try and get a more secluded spot(we loved ours). The restrooms were clean and frequently taken care of even the showers. The flurry from the store was game changing. Thank you and we can’t wait to come back :)

Beautiful river, quiet, peaceful, restful. If you want to party, this is not the place for you. Other campers seem very respectful of each other. The river was raging due to all the rain, but so peaceful falling asleep to the sound. We discovered a short trail which made a nice morning hike right along the river. Be aware this is not a resort style place. It is quiet and peaceful! My only wish was to meet the owners. All communication seems to happen through email only. We will come again!!Nearby activities: Great location within a half hour of Santa's Village, Flume, and Loon

My family and I went to Twin Mountain for the first time this past weekend. We stayed at site 79 along the river. It was a beautiful spot, but about half the size that we thought it was. It's excellent for two people, but a little small and had to maneuver for our family of 4 and the stuff we had. We absolutely made it work and had a blast, but definitely recommend the spot for two people. There are bigger sites along the river that would've been perfect, just the luck of the draw going for the first time! The wood was soaked and took quite a while for fires. At $8 a bundle it wasn't terrible price wise, but the wood could be better protected from the rain to avoid those issues.Bathrooms were kept incredibly clean, and showers are free. There is a pool, but floating down the river is highly recommended. The kids loved the playground, but needs a little maintenance as one step is missing from it.The staff was incredibly friendly and on top of everything. If you couldn't reach them by phone, they were quick to respond by email. We saw them drive by often as they made sure everything was going smoothly for everyone.Overall we really enjoyed our time here. It was very peaceful along the river, and it is a great location to get to fun things for the kids. Santa's Village was 20 minutes away and all the activities in Lincoln are about 20-30 minutes.Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The place is very nice, a lil old and outdated to say the least but comfortable enough for families to relax. But the harassment you will get from the owners is totally unbelievable. They accused us of destroying their campground when in reality we only took care of it. They accused us of throwing cigarettes buds everywhere and none of us on our group was a smoker. They also accused us of sabotaging their septic tank, and what they really needed to do was to give maintenance to it and accused us to have cause that problem. They’re totally unprofessional, they do not know how to treat their customers well. I really hope they learn how to treat their customers well, that’s a skill that is easy to learn. They insulted, humiliated, and discriminated us to the point that we would never come back to this place again nor we recommend it to anyone with a great family.

The location is amazing, we had an RV site on the river. Our dogs loved it, and so did we! Close to Crawford Notch SP and other great hiking. Also close to town of Bethlehem with great ice cream, coffee shop, brewery. One less star because the electric hookup kept tripping. We could only run lights and fan. Water heater would trip the breaker. Not a huge deal since we can run on gas too, but for other travelers to be aware. The park has a dump station too, free for guests. Wood can be purchased at the general store for $8 a bundle.

If you go there and everything goes well you just hit jack pot! But if there's any issues just be mentally prepared to deal with very poor customer service and low management skilled owners, you will basically have to be "the adult in the room"It is hard when people don't understand the difference between owning a place and running a business. There is some level of people skills, emotional intelligence, and problem solving skills that you need, but lucky for them those are things that you can learn, if you want....Responding to bad reviews with more insults and false accusations only confirms what I just said, you can even google "how to respond to a bad review" and you will find great resources.Making racist and targeting comments like "there's BLACK hair in the showers" or making false accusations of stealing or that "we caught them stuffing entire rolls of toilet paper into our system to sabotage our septic" if that was true, who is this person? why you did not call the police on them? was he/she part of our group? Or staying that there was nair product on walls? refused to flush toilets? Flushing household items? Staff staying outside to clean? This is all made up, none of that was done from anyone from our group, wow don't be so light to lie like that. You know the facility needs updating, you know it needs maintenance, you know it.You have many other bad reviews that are not from our group, you can keep been arrogant or you can actually learn from them, you can even realize that the bad reviews started with your management. You rented a camp site without table, without telling me, since I did not get any information about it I thought it was moved and I simply moved over other table, you can just come and communicate, you have my contact information, you can call me or email me, you can't come yelling and accusing other people around (I was not physically present) of stealing and making them leave all my belongings and food on the ground.Being the owner of a place does not give you rights to yell, or being rude, running a business implies a lot of introspection, communication skills, managing under pressure, if you have 70+ camp sites is because you assume you can handle 70+ guests it makes no difference if they come as a group or not, know your capabilities and try to improve them instead of blaming and accusing others of your lack of customer service. The place is beautiful, ground is leveled, riverfront, my friends have enjoyed the place every summer for 15 years, so you did not loose 1 customer, you lost 50+ recurrent customers.I hope you are still capable of learning from your experiences and complement the beautiful place that you have in your hands. But if you only need a 5 star review, just let me know. I see that you only read reviews to bark and not to actually know what the customer needs. And are asking google to remove the reviews but lie about us, do false accusations, and racist comments?

The location and pool are nice but no lounge chairs at pool so bring your own. The store with fudge, ice cream, and pizza is also nice. Unfortunately the running of the place seems very disorganized. Our spot required us to be able to pull through even though it isn’t a pull-through site (goes straight into the woods) and our rig is a 28 ft bumper pull travel trailer on an extended bed truck. There was just no way that was happening and if we backed it in, our hookups would have been on the wrong side. The front desk worker wasn’t prepared to deal with any issues (young girl, but very nice and tried her best). She told us to go to an empty spot that she didn’t realize weren’t supposed to be used. Unfortunately there weren’t any other open spots. Then our electric didn’t work the entire time. Our fuses kept blowing and the AC couldn’t remain on. It also meant we didn’t have the full hookup we paid for. We’ve stayed in a lot of places all over New England and the Midwest and have never experienced a place like this, with a pull through site that wasn’t actually a pull-through and then a giant (abandoned it seemed) bus parked next to it so we had zero chance of being able to unhook our truck and move it. I did reach out via email, since the phone number gives you no options to actually speak to a person. I did receive a response a few days later but honestly I would’ve expected something to be done to try and make amends for the very frustrating experience we had to deal with, not to mention the gas we burned through trying to keep our hot water and fridge going. It was basically like sorry, the front desk girl is 15 and didn’t know the electric on those sites doesn’t work. No personal accountability was taken and that left a worse impression on me than the headache of a stay we had. Probably fine for a driving Rv but definitely don’t recommend for bumper pulls. And we were given no indication a bumper pull would be an issue when we booked our full hookup stay 6+ months ago. Again, just seems incredibly unorganized and was disappointed in the little response we received when all the issues were out of our control. I hate leaving negative reviews but this could save someone else the headache we dealt with. I’m sad our first trip to NH will be clouded by the stress of this stay. But Mt. Washington was amazing and very close!

Do not stay at this campground. My family and I stayed at this campgrounds a few weeks ago. We rented a few lots. we r a very respectful family. My dad is a military man so that should say a lot about us as a family. The owner of the campground would walk by my parents campsite and asked many times “when are u leaving” . We had music playing very lightly and that was not aloud . You are not aloud to smoke even tho the owners sit there and smoke all day. Campground is very dirty and you get reprimanded every other minute. Make sure if u bring a dog it doesn’t bark because they will call u while on an excursion and owner was very very rude On the phone. And when we returned to the camp the dog was completely relaxed sleeping. My parents are the type of people that are very respectful and always follow rules but to be treated like they did not want u there is a complete under statement. We left early because we couldn’t get out of there soon enough . Also make sure u do not buy any alcohol in the campground store becaaue u can not have it on premises. There was many more reprimanding encounters, however Im done wasting time . Do not stay here, u will be sorry if u do .

We are new campers this being only our second time camping and had a blast! It was a little chillier than we expected but our son still hit the pool when we got there! We stayed in the A’s and loved how central it was to bathroom/showers, the store/restaurant, play ground and pool. We loved how quiet it was! Truly could relax! We plan on coming back in the future and hoping to try out a riverside site! Thank you for the great stay!

The owners of this place are so unprofessional and most importantly very rude. Smoking isn’t allowed however the owners are always smoking while they ride their golf carts. Bathrooms seemed to be closed most of the time and not working. I hope the owners can be more friendly, respectful and professional to future guest.

Campground was wonderful - we loved our sites next to the river with a spigot and electricity, it was so nice to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the river. Great location, less than 30 minute drive to all our hikes. Unfortunately there was a bit of a toilet paper issue but when you’re camping you always bring your own anyway. Aside from that the bathrooms were always clean with hot water available. We also made use of the large sink outside the restrooms for washing our pots and pans. The pizza is also very delicious and a great treat after a day of hiking. Everyone was respectful of quiet hours as well and we had no noise issues throughout our stay.

I love this place. I hike ,backpack and camp often. It makes a great base camp for hiking the Crawford notch or presidential range ...this is a nice and quiet campground. Great sites along the river ...we like to camp there several times a year. To be honest I'm sad when I have to camp somewhere else due to the commute to a trailhead. .. also the pizza joint next door is amazing the general store has nice gifts

Thank you to the rude blond with the ball in her tongue (she wouldn't tell me her name) for telling us to leave or she would call the cops, before we even found our site. You did us a favour! We were lucky enough to get a spot all weekend at Beech Hill for the labour day weekend and what a much more beautiful camp ground and super nice staff!

Absolutely loved it, friendly staff, the general store has everything you'll need and more. Very impressed by the restaurant, delicious food at a fair price, the campsite had a spectacular view on the Amonoosuc river, very quiet and relaxing, restrooms were very clean, a nice big sink to wash your dishes and also there's a pool as well. Can't wait to go again👍

I was thinking about staying here however I was told by a friend to STAY AWAY. And rightfully so. He has gotten harassed because he wrote a negative review about his stay. Everyone is aloud to write a review good or bad and is up to the owner to make changes to make customers happy. This place is a disgrace. Poor customer treatment. You should all be ashamed. Plenty of other places to camp and stay!!! STAY AWAY FROM HERE!

Our pre-reserved riverfront sight (almost a month in advance) was occupied when we arrived at 3pm. The campsite was a mess of beer/wine bottles, and cooked food left out in the hot sun all day. Chipmunks/birds/flies ransacking the site. Nobody knew who they were. We waited for a couple of hours and ultimately had to set up on an adjacent site as darkness was soon approaching. This group finally returned. They had no camping tags, were unregistered and never even checked in. 5 Adults. They were allowed to stay on our reserved campsite and we were displaced. This group were partiers and were drinking and we had to go over at 11pm and ask them to quiet down. Daughter went to use playground set (literally falling over) and a dog from an onsite house (not a rented camping cabin, it was an A frame home) was aggressively barking and moving toward her from the driveway. Bathroom/Shower buildings need to be torned down and rebuilt, it's time. Not frequently checked/cleaned/restocked. If you are serious about booking an exact site and alcohol free dog free experience, just know there is seemingly no enforcement of reservations or policies. I did provide feedback to the owners directly after my stay and they did not respond to me. Bonus star for awesome restaurant Catalano's onsite. Food was excellent.

The riverfront site is what attracted me to this campground, and that part was nice. Other than that, the facilities resemble a junkyard. All of the buildings look run down and poorly maintained. The grounds are full of rusting equipment and vehicles. The playground is small and looked to be rotting, and the pool had a large, unidentifiable object in the bottom. We were there for a mid-week reservation, and did not encounter a single campground employee that we could report any issues to, since both the store and restaurant were closed for the greater part of our stay. I can see why this campground might appeal to some campers, but for the price, I found the facilities quite lacking. I have included photos of the areas I found to be most run down, and also one of the nice feature of our riverfront site.

Excellent campground! The owners of the campground are wonderful people. Don't believe the untruthful bad reviews left. They have worked immensely hard to re-vamp the campground and you will find it to be a beautiful family friendly environment.

We’ve been camping around the country for over thirty years and have never been to one like twin mountain. There was no one to check in with, the facilities are subpar at best because of age and upkeep. Campsite’s along the River were beautiful for the four day stay we had with eleven family members. Unfortunately we encountered torrential rain and high winds our last night which made for a very muddy and wet breakdown of camp. We tried our best to get out on time and we just couldn’t meet the check out time. An employee came down to our site and told us if we didn’t get out we’d be charged another day then proceeded to sit in his golf cart and glare at us while we jumped through hoops to get everything into the two trucks. Very unprofessional attitude!! We would never recommend this campground to anyone.

This campground has been our only choice for White Mountain family camping for 30 years and we always loved our time there. However, we had not visited in a few years and when we arrived last week the restroom facilities were very worn in appearance. That normally wouldn't be a deal-breaker, but we stayed 4 nights and found overflowing toilets in both the men's and women's restrooms daily, no toilet paper each morning, and in general a lack of cleanliness. In the office we were told it was under new ownership as the original owner sold it in May. Hopefully the new owner will begin to make a greater effort. We will be looking elsewhere next year.

The store had all the items we needed and the staff were very helpful and kind. We ate at the restaurant one night and the food was amazing. We cooked at our cabin one night and had all the dishes and pans we needed. Very clean. Beds were comfortable. Will be staying here next time we’re up.

Living Water campground has been something special from the moment we showed up. We decided to camp for the weekend to get my son outdoors and enjoying nature. This place was a perfect blend of combining community with nature. Our site was set near the river and gave us the opportunity to create our own oasis. There was plenty of quiet and privacy but not so much that my 9 year old was bored. We can’t wait to come back and have another adventure.
