Being new to Troy. I am using Word of mouth to help me explore. I've been to The Dollar General 3 times now. I've yet to explore entire store. I am always in the store longer than planned as the deals are amazing & always changing. The employees are so friendly. Every visit results in a lot of laughs. I speak w/customers as well. This is my 1st experience shopping here. I can't get enough!! I always feel like the employees are friends that are out shopping w/me. They sell everything, I mean everything! Even beer! Paper shades that you trim to window size for $5. I love this deal as my cats destroy blinds if I forget to open. I had been being attacked daily by my shower curtain, turn a corner & bam! There's my curved shower bar. I have lots of photos. If you haven't been here. I guarantee if you go w/nothing in particular you need. You will find an easy 10 items you now feel are a must!!

Product prices change, and promotions come and go but poor customer service is simply not tolerable in small towns. With an assistant manager with offensive communication skills and little motivation to help customers utilize DG tools for savings, I recommend shopping elsewhere. Without adhering to their own marketing, the store is a sad addition to a community while it endangers struggling locally owned shops.

I haven't been in awhile due to hour change & everytime I do an online order for p/u, it takes $ from my account. Even tells me my order is ready. Then boom its all canceled. Never since Sept 2022 has a single order worked. Who is taking $ from my bank account if the store employees can't even find my order? I'd rather take drive into Keene to the Dollar Tree. Much better deals. But if looking for decorations or house deco you won't find it there

Always clean and stocked. I love that they treat seniors with respect and are overly careful with respect to the virus. Cashiers are helpful and friendly. I feel safer there then the big box stores. They actually seem to have a plan and respect seniors!

Got the best 4 dollar car mount I've ever had there in a pinch. And I love it. Had 4 in storage from Walmart that were fantastic I bought last year but was west NH camping and needed one. This one was better. Staff was friendly and attentive. And the kids stuff on sale was bomb for the rainy morning really came through for me. Thanks DG.

I found what I was looking for right away. Really nice people. I locked my keys in the car and they called to get me help, stood outside waiting with me and went out of their way to keep me comfortable since I was obviously a bit anxious. They weren't obligated to be so supportive, but they did it anyway and it was comforting.

This store is by fare the cleanest most organized one ive ever been in. So much room to walk the aisles and there organization of just accessories and cloths is fanomanal. I think all dollar generals should learn from this location. Amazing

I love this place and the people who work here, it's right down the road from my place and they always have what I need in stock, unlike some other dollar generals this place is super easy to get around and no matter how busy they are they'll always help you without making it seem like your an inconvenience and it's always super clean and stock is always rotating to insure that it's not out of date.

Wow thank God for this place! I don't know how we in troy did without it. Clean, neat, convienent and totally affordable. The manager Mel was not only helpful but professional and has a complete knowledge of the inventory. Thanks DG😀

They close early several times a week without rhyme or reason. When they are open it's a complete mess, extremely poorly stocked. Fire your manager and close this location until it can be properly staffed.

Always helpful and nice when your shopping there. I save a great deal on gas when I don't have to leave town. For something small. A great asset for the town of Troy.

It was my first time going to a Dollar General. I love the Dollar Store and was interested to see the Dollar General. They have a lot of different items, but most definitely more than $1. I will go back again.

I'm always surprised by how much variety there is in these stores, this one had a lot of clutter in the aisles. Attendants were kind and courteous.

The debit/credit card machine is always down here so it's mostly cash only. They run out of items a lot and blame the store manager for not ordering enough items and for not getting a new credit card system. Avoid if at all possible.

Very rude service from a female employee with a snotty attitude as well won’t be shopping there anymore
