Bought two Febreze items on sale, was overcharged on both, went back next a.m.with receipt, was refused by mgr. In case I " had been picking receipts out of the trash", had to go back again with physical items to get my $4.00 difference refunded, speaking of TRASH!!!!!

Went to pick up my prescription. Was told it wasn’t ready. (The doctor had called it in several hours before) They would have a delivery coming in on Monday. (It is Friday) I just stared at her. She then said”let me see if we have any in stock. Oh, we do. Do you want the prescription? Oh, wait the pharmacist is going to lunch in a minute so you’ll have to come back after2:00.” I said do people often get prescriptions that they don’t need? This is unbelievable and drove away. Asked my granddaughter to pick it up. It was after 3:00. Prescription wasn’t ready. She had to wait 15 minutes for it. How pathetic.

I prefer Walgreens the most for my pharmacy needs. Very convenient, no need to cary coupons. Coupons available at the counter. Good place to shop for people who don't like apps and carrying coupons.Edit review to one star 7/14/2023. Coupons are no longer available. Will remain one star until corporate policy changes back to the good service provided in the last 20 years.

Horrifying experience in your store. Also called customer care. Went to the store to add money to my Green Dot debit card. Green Dot partnered with Walgreens to offer no fee if the money is added through the app versus swiping the card. It used to be only CVS and Walmart that partnered with Green Dot but they have since added both Rite Aid and Walgreens. I have been using Walgreens Pharmacy for decades. I even worked at one of their stores before. When I spoke to the customer care agent (who was incredibly nice I might add), she told me that there should not have been any issue. Basically, I brought my phone to the cashier and she refused to scan the barcode. I asked why? Her response was that it I was probably scamming the store. She called the manager up and the female (didn't get a good look at her name tag) manager came to the register and agreed with the cashier that I was trying to scam them. I even showed them that I was using the official Green Dot app, logged in right in front of them, showed them how I access the barcode and showed them that Walgreens was on the list of four stores that are partnered with Green Dot. They told me that my only option was to swipe the card and add the money that way. But when you slide the card it automatically charges you a $4.95 fee for doing it at the terminal. I'll be honest, I have very limited income and really bad credit history. I know this, I own that. But there were 2 customers behind me in line watching this and it was mortifying. I was told that they would not do it and asked me to leave. I did because I was embarrassed enough from the experience. I then went to CVS and just happened to be that the Manager of that store was the cashier. She was friendly and there was no one around, so I briefly explained what happened and she said that if it was her, she would be outraged. The point of all of this is that I was considered to be a scam artist, accused of such, asked to leave and all in front of other customers. The incredibly frustrating part is that I know there was a training module in their system that they were supposed to complete and just never did or didn't even pay attention to it. As a result, Walgreens has lost a customer that has been with them for a very long time. That manager should be ashamed of what she did. She didn't even try to look it up while I was there, call someone, anything... instead she treated me horribly and embarrassed me. Inexcusable by ANY standard of customer care. An industry, I will add, I have dedicated my life to. It is my career and my passion and I would NEVER even come close to what they did. You do whatever is necessary to assist the customer. And you NEVER accuse someone of being a scam artist without picking up a phone or looking at you training modules to make sure you are making the right decision.

My husband went in to pick up his ear drop prescription , but forgot his wallet at home. The pharmacy would not take my credit card over the phone. Sent him home to Meredith to get his wallet and drive back. He's almost 90 years old and gas is $3.27 per gallon!! Poorest service ever.!!

If there were a -star that wouldn't be low enough for this store.I have a severe back problem and unfortunately, my doctor had to increase my usage.I filled my prescription last month on 5/28. When the new prescription was sent over, I called the pharmacy to see if it was ready. This was on the 24th.I was told by the pharmacist that he could not fill it until the 27th.I called back on the 27th and he still refuses to fill.it!Walgreens website states per FDA laws you can fill pain medication 3 days prior to the due date.I called on the 27th. I was told it still couldn't be filled. When I asked why, I was told that the prescription before said must last 30 days. My previous visit my doctor told me I may increase my meds. I also saw on the website it also says 3 days prior.I was down to 2 pills.I received 75 the month before, so if I took 3 that is 90 pills. Seventy did not get me through the month which my doctor knew, that's why she upped the quantity to 90.The pharmacist still refused to fill my prescription.I stated the FDA law and what was on the website. He said "I don't care it has to be 30 days. I then asked so I need to totally run out before I can have my prescription.He said, I'll fill it tomorrow.I again mentioned what Walgreens website said. He said I dont care what it says, I made the rule 2 days. He then said you can call your doctor. Being a Saturday I said to him, there is no way I can reach her today. He rudely stated then how do you expect me to reach her. I told him I will be pulling my prescription and going back to CVS where I am treated better. He said good.I also stated that we will be there when he opens at 8:00am the next day.I will be getting in touch with the home office and will see what I can do about them not following FDA rules.I immediately called CVS in Franklin and got superb service as I was transferring my families prescriptions.He made me feel like a drug addict and he was in control.The only reason I changed to Walgreens was we moved and they were convenient.I would rather drive 10 minutes to be treatef nicely and know that they don't go against FDA rules.Thank you CVS Franklin for your superb service!!

Thank you Erin and Chris!We had never been in Tilton before, but according to the Wallgreens website we could come there for a fast covid-test so we could cross the border to Canada and fly back home to Europe.Only... when we got there it seemed the mail server was down, and we were too late to pick up a paper copy.Thanks to the efforts of Erin and later by Chris, we were able to pick up a printed copy of our test results at Wallgreens in Burlington, Vt the next day. We made it just in time over the border to catch our evening flight back to Brussels. So to Erin and Chris: a huge THANK YOU ! <3

Horrible experience with pharmacy. They filled the wrong generic and kept insisting our insurance wouldn't cover it. After three weeks of going back and forth and speaking with at least 3 different people in the Walgreens pharmacy department, I finally learned that it was the wrong brand and our insurance DOES actually cover the other generic version that we needed in the first place. They should have at least told me I had the option for the other almost identical brand that was covered, but I was told repeatedly, my only option was to pay out of pocket.Once we finally figured this out, they agreed to fill the right (100% covered) prescription and have it ready the next day (they had to order it).In the meantime, I had our other family member's prescriptions (NOT this medication for my son) transferred to a different pharmacy (CVS - in Franklin - awesome place!) because I was so frustrated with their service.The next day, I called Walgreens to see if the prescription was ready and they said they'd canceled the order since all our other prescriptions (for other family members, NOT for my son) had been transferred out. This RX was NEVER transferred (the new pharmacy did not have it and I never authorized it anyways) so they just canceled a much-needed prescription without authorization from me!!! This required me calling our doctor and requesting a new RX.Did I mention we were leaving on a trip the next day and barely had enough medication to last?Thankfully our new doctor and the new pharmacy was excellent and had the prescription ready to go within hours.I should add that we previously used CVS in Franklin for YEARS without incident - they are always excellent - and with 6 people in our family, we've had many prescriptions. We only transferred to Walgreens recently because we moved and it was more convenient. Or so I thought. Never again!
