Most products in the swanzey, nh store ring up at a much higher price then what the product is marked on the shelves. Every single time I have to watch as they ring stuff up and have them correct the price to what was on the shelf. But how many customers don't pay attention? This isn't right! And it's definitely not fair to the customers!

This store is good but the only thing I hate about it is a lot of prices are wrong and the Workers there mess up all the time and they're rude.

I've changed my rating because of my last experience in here. This poor woman who hasn't been working there long was walked out on by her asst. Manager, and this woman was trying so hard to do the best she could. She has a store full of people. A truck waiting in the back to be unloaded. She told me she had never dealt with a truck before. I told her to call someone and she had NO NUMBERS! Way to go Dollar General. I waited with her just because no one should ever be alone period. She managed to get in touch with the lady from DG in Troy who was helping the best she could over the phone and told her she would come there and help. I believe the woman has since quit her job and I now understand why they cannot keep help. The ones at the top care about the ones at the top. I am sickened.

I would give this store no stars if i could. :/ employees are so rude and act entitled when you get to the register. I have waited more than 5 minutes to be rung out. People could steal something and probably get away with it. At least put a bell at the register. I have also gone there before and had to a wait while whoever is working funished their cigarette break. Im sure they are understaffed but jeez :/

I found everything I needed for a great price! Perfect place to get the crafty stuff I needed for some photography work and even art supplies for my kiddos. The staff seems to be very helpful and friendly. Overall great shopping experience!! :) plus that Ashley chick is a hottie ;)

When this store first opened it was great, recently however the store has gone downhill severely, on Multiple occasions that I have gone in there the shelves have been bare, the stock was at least two years out of date.inventory blocking multiple isles not just a part of it but the whole thing.the employees that work here ether have checked out and don’t care or they’re just there for a paycheck.I try to not shop here to often but if I’m in the area and it the only store that sells what I’m looking for then I’ll go in.The last time I was in here there was two workers and a queue that was forming, the cashier that was working the register had wanted to get the other person when the lady that was checking out said “oh no it’s fine they can wait” while there was at least 10 people including me waiting and the person ringing register didn’t get anyone because the person cashing out said it’s fine they can wait.This has also happened on multiple occasions which is another reason why I try to not go in there.The other problem I chronically run is about 90% of the time I’ve been in and to cash out the items don’t even ring up correctly when they’ve either been marked down, they’re on sale, it’s a new product or the price changes.If you wish to know what I’m talking about when it comes down to the inventory then you can see it as the pictures have been posted.

This place is always clean and I must say I like it for that! U might wait in line a minute, because they r cleaning up somewhere! Lol don't leave a mess and the cashier might be at the register!! 😂 But u also can't beat the prices!

Store is well kept, clean and neat Dave and Amy are always polite, pleasant and helpful when I go in. If there are other associates that work there I would mention them but haven't seen anyone else there for a while.

I enjoy having this right by my house, seems they always have those last minute things you dont want to drive to town for. I dont see this one lasting unfortunately...I really wish Dollar General Corporation would treat their staff better. Expecting them to manage an entire store, with minimal experience, while constantly hiring and training new staff is just unrealistic. I witnessed a man mentally and emotionally abusing a woman in the middle of the store in front of everyone, she had tears streaming down her cheek. I walked to the front to seek help then learned he was the general manager and she was the new store manager. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, but then it all made sense as to why they look so miserable a week after being hired, and end up gone a couple months later.

Really need some help in this store. Its understaffed and always in a disarray. Great store and great prices. But this location its like corporate built it and got some people to work then fogot about them. I feel bad for the worker's over there. If corporate dont care why should the people working there care? Its sad.

To think I used to work there! That's when the store looked good. Now product is everywhere in the customers way. Only 1 person working all the time. The district manager should be ashamed of himself!

It seems quite obvious by observation that's no extrearior maintenance has been done since it opened. Gutters are falling apart plants are mostly dieing grass all dead. Mulch has been touched in at least 4 years

Prices that are on the shelves do not reflect the price that is at the register it's always more money creamer marked 1.89 on the Shelf got to the register it was $2 birthday bag that was marked a dollar fifty on the Shelf got to the register it was $2
