This is a great place to buy furniture. The owners are super nice and helpful, and you get Ashley furniture at a great discount. The only caveat is they don't deliver, but I was able to figure that out myself. This store reminds me of a general store, it has so many things. I have purchased four pieces of furniture from them and have had a great experience every time. Highly recommended!

Went with a friend to find furniture for small apt. You can literally furnish your entire home with one. Also games, puzzles, clothes, candles etc A must place to visit during the holidays for sure. Should be able to find something for everyone on your gift list from Family, Friends or Coworkers. Very helpful young man behind counter when we stopped in and I believe it was the owner who came out back to help load up our truck and tied everything down securely.

The people are awesome. They have furniture that is designed, crafted and all the materials are sourced in the USA. We bought the greatest recliner couch this weekend. We had been shopping around for a while but the crew here and the offerings here were what we were looking for.

Great customer service experience! Staff is friendly and more than willing to help you with anything you need and answer any questions you may have unlike big box stores like Walmart and target where employees are rude and not very helpful. Everything was more than reasonably priced they have a little bit of everything from automotive tools to gardening and beds and furniture! Will definitely be back to purchase a recliner and a new living room set! Best part is they are locally owned and operated! Highly recommend this place they have something for everyone for the holidays!!

I've been here twice. Their radio ad sounds so inviting, but then you walk in and they don't even talk to you. No "Welcome, anything we can help with?" They do not acknowledge you. Customer service is terrible. Their prices aren't bad. Their dog is cute. But after 2 experiences that are the same, I won't be back.

This is a extremely packed store with many choices of work pants and shorts. I went here to look at the furniture they sell here and even though it was difficult to get around to see the many choices of chairs, dressers, sofas, and tables it is worth the effort. I need to use a rollator walker to get around. I do not recommend anyone who is in a wheelchair to expect to get around the isles in this store. I do reccomend all others who are shopping for mid range furniture to have a look at what they offer here. The prices are fair and the owners are very helpful and friendly. My only disappointment was to learn they do not deliver. They don't deliver to keep overhead cost down and seem to share the savings with customers. I have not yet purchased furniture here but am strongly considering it. Worth your time to go here.

Posting at the request of the owner, Kevin, of J&J Discount in Spofford, NH. I went in today to spend $4,000-$5,000 on furniture locally to support small business and he was extremely upset people keep asking to buy his floor display models. I inadvertently made the mistake of apparently being the 100th person to do so in an attempt to help them during what I thought were challenging times. I completely understand I perhaps foolishly assumed all local businesses have been struggling. He and his nephew made it abundantly clear he doesn't have furniture in stock and you have to order. ETAs are this summer at best, but the companies they buy from only give him a 1 month at a time window with no guarantees. After he was done yelling at me, I said that I should post a review of my experience and he said "Please do", so here it is. If I hadnt been yelled at, I would have ordered and waited, as I have bought all my furniture there over the years. If you need something, do not offer to buy a floor model to help them out. They have plenty of money and don't need the business.

I made a quick run for my husband for painting supplies, got what I needed, and decided to have a look around at all of the stuff because I haven't been to J & J for awhile. I love this place -- Spofford's mini department, clothing, hardware, bed, and furniture store all wrapped into one. They seemingly have it all!! How lucky can we get?! 👍👍

The owners are so friendly, I need a mattress for my camper , A very odd size and shape but Kevin took measurements and Had one custom made/ that fit perfectly ,, I’ve bought couches and recliners I don’t even think of going anywhere else,,, Love This Store,,,,

I have lived in the area for 50 years and since J&J Discount has been in the Spofford Lake area I never have to go far to get what I needed. They have everything for repairs to the home, (except wood building materials), furniture, outdoor stuff, tarps, rope, screws, nails (check to website). Everything is easy to find and the people there are so very helpful. Kevin and Debbie carry Best recliners and can get you a recliner to match anything and are extremely helpful and patient in helping you pick the right chair and if needed the right upholstery for your needs. And best of all if you can't find the exact something they carry in the store, talk to Kevin, he has found exactly what it was I was looking for, it may take a little while to get it but he does. As our family grew up, taking the children to J&J's was always and high point for them, BIG candy aisle and a visit with the "Boys" the dogs sometimes at the store. All I can say is go it is worth the trip.

Bought tables and chairs I couldn't find anywhere else. Prices are so reasonable. They don't deliver, but Kevin loaded everything for me then my son helped me when I got home. When I'm ready for a new couch, I'm going back to J & J!

I usually like this store, today had a bad experience. I was with a friend and was willing to buy a 500.00 couch and 100.00 nightstand. My friend has a medical condition and needed to use the bathroom so we could continue shopping. We were told twice there was no public bathroom(doubt it) and they wouldn't let her use it even though I explained it was a medical condition. So they lost a sale over it and btw I don't consider the staff friendly at all. I think Debbie Rose needs to train her family in customer service.

Cute store close to Spofford lake.We get odds and ends their from a needed tool to some furniture.The couple that runs the place had run it for 20 or more years. Nice people and nice dogs.

J& J Discount has such a wide variety of items if you can't find what you're looking for, and haven't asked for help, then you're not looking hard enough. The people there are so friendly and helpful it's worth just stopping by to see what's going on. What a great spot to shop!
