Came in to get a grill and Conor behind the register went above and beyond to make sure that our needs were met. He helped us with trying to get one of the grills I assembled and when that didnt work he helped us through other steps and made sure that our needs were met. If you come here for anything, look for Conor. He will help you with anything. Getting our grill delivered but glad to have such great customer service.

This store is a good size store with a lot of choices but most of the staff is just rude and can't be bothered to help you. Some simply don't have the knowledge, some simply have the "no can do" way of life... Sad! You're better off going to other stores like Tractor Supplies.

I never write reviews but I couldn’t leave without someone knowing how amazing Conor was to my family and I. Seems so silly but we came in late Friday night looking for a grill and weren’t sure about delivery versus trying to fit it into our car. Conor advised us the whole way through and then when we thought we could fit it in the car he helped us. Unfortunately, it didn’t fit but he did nothing but smile and offer to get it delivered instead. I felt awful cause I know how rough doing all that is at the end of the day probably was but he was so kind to all of us, got us a delivery for the grill and just was overall very kind about the whole situation. Conor went out of his way to make sure we got what we needed and never made us feel like a burden. Left feeling very happy about our experience!

This Home Depot is markedly better than most other hardware stores. More than once employees who were on their way out have overheard my wife or I talking and have offered to help. They have also gone above and beyond, offering to cut and deburr pieces that I have purchased making my projects take a small fraction of the time. Definitely worth traveling to this one.

This store should be the model for ALL home depot locations. Each and every time I frequent, could not be more satisfied with the level of customer services. From the cashiers to the persons working in the respective departments, this place crushes it in terms of service. Special thank you to Brian in lumber (who thank god is always working when I pop in) for all of your help in getting me what I need and making sure is is the proper measurements.Thanks again home depot Somersworth.

I’m a diyer. I get a lot of stuff here but my paint at Sherwin Williams. I sometimes go to my ace hardware store for advice and odd things. I do like Home Depot better than Lowes, much better. The problem at Home Depot is that you can’t find anyone to help you sometimes. That’s when I head to Ace Hardware.

Worst service I’ve ever experienced in my life, lady in garden center had to have a conversation with 4 different people just to figure out they didn’t have the lid to the trash can I was trying to buy. Then they collectively lied to me to get out of helping me after stalling for 20 minutes trying to make me look stupid. Maybe go find some employees that don’t have room temperature IQs or were born under a rock yesterday.

Would not accept a return even though I couldn't see their explanation in the policy. Would have been more than willing to accept a store credit. I've used this store out of convenience nearly every week. Some employees are good but the stocking and cleanliness leave a bit to be desired. Going somewhere else adds about 5 minutes to the trip, I wish I would have known then what I know now.

I rely on Home Depot a little too much. I've owned several homes in the last 30 years, and Home Depot has been patronized by me in that time. I've remodeled bathrooms, kitchens, installed doors, installed irrigation systems, built fences, and even my roof. One thing is consistent with Home Depot. It's big, and one customer isn't really a big deal to them. It's a box store. I encourage spending a little more time with specialty venues in a remodel. My latest project was a bathroom remodeling. Tub, tile, fixtures, and materials totaling about $2700. I ordered online. Online was cumbersome, and ultimately, my order had to be done by a telephone call. About 44 items. The online order was canceled 10 minutes later. For an unknown reason. Ultimately, I had to speak with a manager to order my items after five ongoing mystery cancelations. I was told it was a fault in the online system. That's probably the case. An additional issue was that some items were shipped to California. I live in Maine. Ultimately, I had to go back and forth to pick up my materials because they trickled in over a 10-day period. Things happen, but 5 reorders, shipping to wrong locations, and the back and forth make for some poor customer service and a company that is overall poorly run. I want to encourage people to use locally run small specialty businesses to get the job done right, at least on the second attempt. Home Depot is great if you want a box of screws or a cheap barbecue grill. But I don't recommend them for projects for your home, which is supposed to be their whole mission.

Today I went in to get some plumbing fittings to fashion my own hose using parts available in store and the plumbing team member would not help me, would not even try to help. Lazy guy not trying to help anybody. He said "yeah no I can't help you" and walked away and let the flooring lady help me in plumbing. She did try but it was obvious she didn't work in plumbing. The guy was bald, heavy set, has glasses and a goatee. Not like the place was busy today at 4:45pm. Unbelievable, I thought home Depot was the place to go... Not for customer service apparently! That's fine I'll make the trip to Lowes where I know they'll at least attempt to help me. What a joke!

I had the best customer service experience in my entire life here. I came in on a Friday night, about an hour before closing, to buy a few feet of wire. It turned out that the guy who usually cuts the wire was out for a while due to some injury, and the only people who were there weren't super familiar with the equipment (it's more involved than you might expect). I approached an employee named Mike who worked in the plumbing department. He seemed genuinely eager to help out and proceeded to call a manager over for me. He took me to the wire and kept me company while we waited (for a very brief period of time). After a short moment, a supervisor named Amie arrived and seemed just as eager to help as Mike. She wasn't too familiar with the wire cutting equipment, but was more than willing to take on the task regardless. Another supervisor, named Anthony, showed up a few seconds later, followed by a man named Steve. All four of them were among the nicest people I've ever met and were working brilliantly as a team. It looked like people from all different departments came together and worked fluidly and naturally with one another. They all had smiles on their face (not the superficial customer service-y kind) and made me feel more welcome than I have ever felt in any retail setting. I'm usually fairly timid and a little awkward, but every single one of the people I interacted with was very approachable and that made it easy for me to behave naturally. I'm not the type to post reviews that single people out (or any reviews for that matter) because I understand that there are probably some others who would show the same level of excellence if they were put in the same situation, but I plain and simply don't want it to go unnoticed.

We have just bought a new house , and we did our floors over with the more waterproof /wood feel look porcelain tile and also built a fire pit with bricks from the ore for cheap. Great place to go to when being a homeowner. :)

Texted me that my order was ready for PU.Went there to pick it up.They couldn't find it. After about an hour waiting they said "sorry we'll reorder it for you" . What a waste of my time! Cost me money today trying to do business with such a broken company! Lesson learned.Need something ordered. Go to a real lumberyard.

In paint I brought samples from my project and the Traditional Ivory previously not a match, today was close, but the Carriage Door red from S.Williams a hard match. After the first try, more Cherry Red, a second person tried again, the first guy, when he showed me, I did not think they got it. "I'm not going to do this all day..." was his response, so I took it-still not right. The only good thing is that A-100 needs priming so the mismatch served as a primer to bare wood. Best to go back to the Sherwin guys, but I was needing quarts only today. Live and Learn. In plants the garden center looking good and got a tomato plant. And there were outside checkout people!!!!

Placed an order for multiple windows with Bill in millwork, and he took time to ensure correctness of the order and provide me with the best pricing available saving me hundreds. Ryan was very helpful with cutting our wood and helping us find tools we needed. He really cared about making sure we had everything we needed and all of our questions were answered before we left the store. He even offered to help us take the big tools to the car.

If you value your sanity at all, DO NOT buy appliances here to be delivered. Home Depot hires a 3rd party to handle deliveries and they just showed up for the third time to our house and didn't even have our appliances on the truck. I've had to take 3 days off of work to be here for delivery, and now potentially a 4th. The level of incompetence is honestly impressive.

(I live on my phone, don't judge me)but when I described the order she was fine. Seriously. This is my second bad experience just trying to pay my credit card bill in the store here at the Somersworth location store number 8931. Both times have been with the alleged manager /supervisor Amie. She has been very rude and unpleasant to work with both times. All I wanted to do was pay my CC bill. Both times I drove down a distance to be treated poorly by this unprofessional woman. She would not give me her last name or employee number so I could report her after her second time mistreating me. I asked for a manager she said I am it. I asked for a supervisor she said I am it. I’ve never had such a hard time trying to pay a bill or give a store my money. Please hire better people to run your business. I won’t state the real reason I think she was being overly rude but I do believe we are all equal here on this planet. Just maybe not in Somersworth store when Aime is working. (Noted)

Simply a fantastic place to shop and I use the curbside pickup often and that is the cats meow. Simply shop on the website, place your order and it's ready very quickly. Then login to the home depot android app to click to let them know you are on your way. When you arrive, the app will ask for your parking spot and your order is brought out to your car and your done! I find that I save a lot of money because I don't impulse buy like a little kid once in the store and see soon many of the greatest things that I can't live without! 😛🤪🤑👀

I had a fantastic experience at this Home Depot yesterday. The staff are just wonderful, genuinely care about helping you. Justin was very welcoming, helped me with my tile search, calculated the amount of cases I needed, went to great lengths to make sure I knew where everything was. David P was even better. He has a wealth of knowledge in lots of departments, especially flooring, and he walked me through/educated me about the different types of coverings I should think about for my basement. I couldn't be happier with all my purchases. I would highly recommend this store.

As much as I love and support my local places, it is tough to beat the pricing and over the top support of our local home depot. Everyone is helpful, professional and happy to help. It will not take you long to know everyone there. Great paint selections, wife loves the garden shop, I love the people and support I get.

Sometimes there is a guy here that sells sausages in the parking lot. He’s not always there so make sure to bring a sausage just in case you can’t buy one.
