This is my favorite hardware/everything I need store! The people who work here are very helpful with anything I need and if I can’t get it there always willing to order it! I can say everyone in there are very pleasant people and they have nice humor! A great local hardware and most need store in town! I recommend them with anyone I talk to!

Never cheap. But always convenient. I always wince a little heading here, but I always find what I am looking for when I set out. The staff is helpful. The variety is above excellent. And in the middle of a project, the last thing I want is an hour and a half to two hour drive to find what I need ... I pay the price. If not happily, at least recognizing the convenience. If you believe, as I do, that time is money, then you will understand. I have never been disappointed, with the selection or in finding what I need when I need it. And that matters most.

Longmeadow is well stocked and conveniently located. They have just about everything I have ever needed. They are a bit more expensive than a Home Depot or Lowe's but they have quality items and it saves me a 20 minute drive to Rochester.Be warned, the aisles are not labeled, so it can be very difficult to find what you are looking for if you are unfamiliar with the layout. However, the staff are quite helpful.

My local hardware store, try to buy everything I need from them, support my local businesses. They have good prices and great people, very friendly and helpful. I visit this store every week, often times multiple times a week. Would definitely recommend checking them out before going to a big box store...

We go there for chicken feed occasionally. They're not the worst around, although customer service doesn't seem to be their strongest asset. Who cares? It's a hardware/farm supply store! Know what you need/want, look for it, and you might find it. Don't expect the people behind the counter to know what you're talking about. They're kids! They stock a lot of stuff, most of it isn't priced but now they provide those things where you can scan it and get the price. Don't sweat the small stuff, and you'll do fine. And I like that they don't care if it's summer or winter, when they're closed, they're CLOSED.

They have everything you need. Prices on many things are ridiculous. Nothing ever goes on sale - he just puts it away and brings it out again the following year. It's the only hardware store in the area and the owner knows it so he takes full advantage. He just installed machines that will tell you the price on things as in the past nothing had a price tag. I asked several times about that - I was told "it takes too much time to price everything". So what are ya gonna do - you buy it because you need it and there isn't another store around. Small business at it's finest.

This hardware store is a throwback to what real hardware stores are supposed to be. You can have your Lowes, Home Depot, and the rest of the crap stores that carry 99% of their items from China. Go ahead and look it up. Even the pieces that state "American Made" are simple assembled here. I love this store! Do I get lost & spend too much time in there searching...yes. Could they arrange things a little better...yes. Do their hours suck really bad on weekends in the summer...yes. Hopefully the owner will read that last sentence. The summer is you money maker. Even staying open until 7:30 would be a huge bonus. All that said, I for one, will continue to support the little local stores & with Longmeadow, there's over 30,000 items to choose from. If you're looking for really bad customer service you'll like Longmeadow Farm and Home Supply. Because the place is local in the past I've gone there for many things. No more. Today, a Wednesday, at 9:30 A.M and at 10 A.M. I called and got voice mail! I was calling TO BUY SOMETHING because I needed it ASAP and didn't want to waste my time driving there if they didn't have it. So instead of choosing the store option on voice mail, the second time I called, I chose the administrative offices and asked for the owner. As luck would have it the guy that answered said that he was the owner. I asked him why I would get voice mail during normal business hours and he abruptly said to me; "because I only have four people on the floor and we're very busy....what-da-ya-want?" I've sent workers there for items and when they were told that they were out of stock she went through the isles and found what she asked for. I was there last weekend, asked for an item, was told that they didn't stock it and when pointed to an area that it might be in, I found two of them while three employees chatted behind the counter. Sometimes businesses get to a point at which they think they only need so show up in the morning and open the door. That's usually the beginning of the end. I won't be back again....

The employees here are always super helpful! Though it is not a huge box store with endless options, they carry most of the essential hardware and it's great when it can save us the longer drive to a bigger store.

A cramped hardware store with uneven floors and narrow aisles - but seems to have just about everything. Can be a little pricey, but the alternative is driving another 20 miles to Rochester for HD or Lowes which can make paying a little more here, worth it. Staff is knowledgeable - except for *some* of the summer hires. Rent tools here, buy flowers, dock hardware, point well pumps, etc.

For the most part good.But I won't buy power equipment there.My generator kicked out under warranty,and they don't take it for you to get fixed.So I asked where to take it.The guy on the phone said look it up,and hung up.

I just called them to see if they had goat fencing. The guy answered the phone said he did not know and placed me on hold. Then a guy picked up (sounded like the same guy), again i told him i was looking for goat fencing. he said he had fencing but did not know if it was for goats. I told him i was looking for 48" high wire fencing with 4" x 4" opening 200' long. He said he did not know and he was not at a place to find out. I apologized for bothering him and hung up. They just lost over $200.00 dollars today!
