Very friendly and helpful staff. I stopped in to get some fasteners and was able to find what I needed quickly. They have a huge selection of fasteners and the drawers were well stocked. I also like that they’re open later than most hardware stores, which was great when I needed something on a Saturday evening.

Very well maintained store with friendly and knowledgeable staff. I usually shop there when discount coupons arrive in the paper or through my rewards program. If I have a small project to do, I usually go here. I have always looked for clothes, footwear and winter items here as well. I also have found non construction and cleaning products as well. Toys, kitchen items, photo frames and albums and ect. I would recommend visiting this store.Update: Sunday morning 🌄, May 2021; Store layout keeps changing. I was in the area and was looking for an outdoor entrance rug. They didn't have anything that would be useful. Employees are very helpful.

Nice big hardware store, a little pricier than the big box stores. Great selection of plumbing, electrical and hardware supplies. Great customer service and friendly staff, mix of housewares and working gear also.

Stopped here at 7:55pm to grab a bag of pellets. I was told the store was closed even though they advertise they are open until 8pm. I’m not normally one to go into a store last second, but this transaction would’ve taken 30 seconds and there still would’ve been minutes until close. Overall, this place is great and always have a great experience but this was a tad inconvenient.

Sure you might pay a little more here, but the service you get it worth it. I recently dealt with Joe at the paint department who stepped in to help when no one was around on his day off. He was extremely kind and thoughtful. Workers like him are what make coming back here a pleasant experience. Give this man a raise.

Much more than your ordinary hardware store, they have a massive selection of clothing, toys, wild bird and pet goods, and so much more. Closer to a department store than a "hardware" store.

Overall, this Ace Hardware location is well stocked & well maintained. Staff is always Super-Friendlly & they are all very knowledgeable. They do occasionally offer some limited comepetive pricing, but for the most part their pricing is a "tad" bit more than the "big box" home centers.. However, they do offer a good size selection of products which still gives the consumer options.......which is always a plus!

The staff where extremely friendly and helpful. The store was super clean and well stocked. Had a real friendly I'm at home relaxing at my work bench feel to the store. I'm not real easily impressed but this store is definitely impressive and worthy enough to write about it. I want to go back shopping now. Let me know what you think. They get thumbs up from me.

I absolutely love this store! The arts and crafts section has everything I could think of to do at-home projects. Also, they offer key-cutting, tools, equipment, replacement parts, home repair supplies, toys, pet fish and a whole lot more! Whenever I had an issue with a purchase, there was never a problem returning or replacing it. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. This place has a very welcoming vibe, making it comfortable and relaxing, great for any shopping experience. Highly recommended

I've always been impressed with the Raymond NH Ace Hardware. All staff in the store, be it the cashiers or the folks in the various departments, have been friendly and extremely helpful. I was blown away today by one particular young man (I wish I got his name.) I bought a number of items in the store and paid for them, as well as four 2 cubic foot bags of potting soil, which I needed to pick up from outside. My cashier called out back requesting someone to assist me. I was waiting outside just a few minutes when I saw a young man leave the store and walk toward his car. Then I heard him call across the parking lot and ask if I had been taken care of. I told him what I was waiting for and he ran over to me. He said he had just gotten off of work at Ace but could grab the bags for me. He was loading the last bag when another staff member came out to help me, but wasn't needed. The young man was so nice and so pleasant. I told him he had an excellent work ethic. So nice to see today! As a business owner myself, I would hire him in a heartbeat. You've got a great employee there!

Staff is always friendly and generally pretty knowledgeable. My favorite part of the store is how they're always changing things up. If they go in one week and then go in the month later chances are they have new things to sell. I do feel like they've cut back on the gift selection area which was one of my favorite parts of the store.

I have been going to Ben Franklin's for years! All the employees that are working on the floor can be very intense by constantly asking if you need help, but I guess it's better than having to constantly look for someone to help you. Cashiers are usually younger but very friendly and well mannered! Overall always a good experience!

What a gem. We stumbled on this store because we wanted to stop at the Dollar Tree next door. This store has just about everything you can imagine. They carry brand name items from Carhartt to Stihl equipment and everything in between. Give them a try.......👍

I love this place. I mean you may spend a bit more but so worth it. People are so nice and very helpful. So much more than hardware! Flip flops, jewelry, Yankee candles, puzzles, toys and some really unique items too. They even have Boston sport team items. Returns are easy too.

Went to ACE to donate/purchase baked goods from a group allowed to setup outside the store. While there I decided to buy some plants. I appreciate the willingness of ACE to allow local groups to use their storefront. While there are other options to purchase items available at ACE I will chose ACE over others based on their generosity to local groups.

I love this store. Everybody is so helpful even with the crazy projects I come up with.They not only have a great selection of hardware needs but the variety of Carhartt clothes changes all the time. I’m in there at least twice a week.It was so easy to Christmas shop there. I bought Carhartt clothes, dog bones, even a Shotgun plunger.I’m in there for everything it’s just a nice old school store but with a modern twist to make it all work.It’s a fun store to just walk into and look around with a great selection and a great staff.Thank you.

Classic real hardware store. They have all the bits and pieces that you need. The people are very helpful, and easy to find. Of course the prices on regular items is on the high side, but the sales are excellent, and when you need a stainless steel acorn nut with matching lock washer, who cares if it's an extra 20% higher. I go here as much as possible, as it is very nice to have a real hardware store and not be stuck with whatever Lowes or Home Depot may or may not have...Mostly have not.

Nice large store but needs to improve their inventory technique. They told me they had 5 of the snowblowers that I wanted so I drove 60 miles and then they didn’t have them. The inventory likely indicated they had 5 because they were “on order”.

This is a good Ace..i always get good service here..they have full lines of stihl and carhart..there are some good values to be found..i like how they seem to always be fully stocked with what they carry..finding hardware things is nice because place is always neat and organised

Best customer service I've ever seen. All associates ask if you need assistance in a sincere and non pushy way. Great selection of items with the combination of Ben franklin and ace hardware. A little bit of everything. Hours are convenient. Plenty of parking. Process are good. Stop here before any big box store. You wont regret it.

Every time I go into the Raymond Ben Franklin Ace store I am always greeted by helpful, friendly employees. The product selection that they have is phenomenal, I never walk out of there without buying what I came in for and then some. They have great sales(clearance). it's not a short drive for me, but, it's always worth it.

I used to love shopping here, and did so frequently. The last time I was there, we had gone in the early evening. We had just walked in and began browsing, when we noticed that we were being followed by several workers at once. At one point, a manager began chasing me down after I had walked into the crafts section!!! Mind you, we are two average, everyday, mid to upper class, middle aged females!!! After having worked some retail security/loss prevention myself back in the day, I can assure you we fit none of the profiles they should have been looking out for. After being treated as if we were known criminals, we decided to just get what we went there for, and get the hell out. All while these employees continued to follow and corner us the entire way! When we showed the cashier (whom also happened to have been the only nice, helpful person we had encountered there that evening) our Ace Rewards card, we noticed that one of the manager's, who had now taken to barricading the exit on us, lest we suddenly attempted to escape, gave off the sudden appearance of her face flushing several shades of white, then red, before giving us a sheepish half smile/snarl and walking away. I have not been back since that incredibly bizzare experience had over 2 years ago.

This store is such a surprise! It defies definition. It has that old fashioned General Store vibe without the uneven wooden floors, and it's big. It's a hardware store- with everything that you'd expect from an Ace Hardware store. But wait! You can also pick up casual gifts such as candles (Yankee or other brands), wind chimes, light catchers, dream catchers, toy, costume jewelry, and cards. It carries outdoorsy clothing for men and women. You can pick up crafting supplies (they offer crafting classes), fabric, curtains, throw rugs, shower curtains, vacuums, ironing boards and irons. If you're shopping hungry, they also sell bags of chips, popcorn, candy and soda. The store also offers a reward program with coupons and discounts.

Good place with good stuff. Unlike Home DepotWhere everything is made in China. The only problem I have is employees follow you around too much until you set them straight. When you are building something you need space and time alone. Every 2 minutes someone asking you if you need help botthers me . I know they mean well but like our senile president says . COMMON MAN.

Mixed bag? Had very helpful people but, was treated rudely by a 'Karen' first. She wasn't wearing a mask but told me to back off (I'm a 3-5' personal space guy?) & was very brusquely rude. Other than her (no name tag, sadly) very quick & efficient trip. They have Everything!!!
