Been wanting a Sibicki rod to control those sticky little hooks and they had one. Rod was a little stiffer than I expected but I think it's going to be fine. Also picked up some plastic baits that were on marked down for a great price.

I went in on a Sunday evening, they were doing inventory, how ever this did not stop them from providing excellent customer service. I have been to West Marine stores all around the country, so for the staff working that Sunday evening I want the Manager to know great job. I feel bad that I was in to much of a rush to remember his name, I do remember talking about a Catamaran... the story of my life I will remember the boat but not the persons name. Great listening skills in helping me select the product, most times my knowledge level in the product surpasses staff, but the questions help me sort out the actual product I needed. Thank you for your great customer service it was a refreshing change, true asset to the company.

I bought my first boat this spring and have been in and out of this West Marine a few times a week for the past few months. I have always had helpful service. There's a balanced staff: a few older guys with the wisdom, younger guys with spirit, and a feisty manager who has grown on me. I've been given good advice on boat maintenance and how to save a few bucks. I appreciated their honesty - they don't try to back me into buying things, but actually talk me out of making stupid novice purchases. We always have a good laugh in there as well, which helps take the edge off spending so many clams. I appreciate the good service and I'll continue frequent this West Marine.

Called looking for a helm seal that was being hard to find, West Marine had one and the gentleman I spoke to said he would leave it up by check out. Was in and out like a flask and going striper fishing tomorrow.

Walked into the store , asked two questions and immediately was accused of calling the "customer service representative" a liar. Q1.do you have any universal transducer mouts? A1. No Q2. do you have any transducer mounts at all? A2. Do you think I am lying to you?- superior customer service in 10 seconds flat

Went there looking for canoe paddles and seat cushions, didn't find anything, all their products were expensive, no one asked if I needed help finding anything and when I left empty handed the woman just said "have a nice day" instead of asking if she could help me find anything, would not recommend this store
