My dog always comes back looking and smelling better! She’s constantly shedding but after her grooming she’s so soft and I can vacuum my house of dog hair and actually have it stay clean! And I always appreciate having the professionals clip her nails too, much quicker and less stressful for her than doing it myself! Thanks Emma and crew! Highly recommend!

We have been coming here for many years. When walking in, you are greeted with with a smile and they know who you are. They give the best advice from toothbrushes to treats or what is the best food. The grooming is exceptional as we have always been happy with Daisy’s “salon visit”. They truly care & explain any concern with compassion, empathy & kindness. . They take their time & again make sure you & your pup are happy. They treat them like they are royalty & your pup is happy. You will be very satisfied, I know we always are Kathy, Pete & Daisy

Brianna is the BEST. I've had previous experiences with groomers from other facilities completing botching the coat, or not treating my pet properly, but from the minute you walk into the front door Bri is there to greet your pet with love and kisses and ensure they are well taken care of while in her care. She's knowledgeable, sweet, and takes the time to listen to your wants and concerns and culminate them into your pets groom. I'm going to be moving soon, and wish I could take her with me! Brianna is the best groomer ever! We drive three hours round-trip just to go to her every six weeks because she is so good with Sydney and really has a great rapport with the dogs. She’s always pleasant and accommodating to our schedule. We just love her!

Brianna is the best. We've been going to her for several years with two Rottweilers and an Arkansas Dumpster Diver. The Rotties loved her and got very excited about being groomed and getting manicured. The little tramp thinks she's going there to be drowned but survived nicely and looks a hell of a lot more presentable.

Honestly, the prices on the pet toys are good.When I asked for a brand she does not carry she said no with such disdain as if I had insulted her!The floor is dangerously warped. The floor is not level. A portion of the warped floor is covered in this weird green carpet made for exterior applications.Then entrance from Rt 1 is so dangerous and obviously a location where many accidents have due to the large amount of smashed glass.I for so many reasons, have been too much better establishments this one is not worth your time.

My 10 lb. dog with teeth so small it takes him forever to eat a piece of dry dog food doesn’t like to have his rear end area groomed. I warned the groomer ahead of time. She said no problem. The groomer, however, clearly lost patience and cut his lovely feathery tail hair completely off. It looked like a rat tail. If she was having issues she should have called me to discuss what to do rather than taking such drastic action. My dog’s regular groomer, who does a fantastic job, always cut his tail beautifully. She had cancelled my dog’s grooming because she had COVID, which is why I tried Mac & Coopers. I’m giving the groomer a couple of stars because she did a great job on my dog’s face and body. His tail still looks awful! The hair is just starting to grow back after two months. It has a long way to go before it is the way it should be.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I’m so happy with every experience I’ve had at Mac and Coppers I couldn’t resist!We’ve been to our fair share of groomers in the past and couldn’t find one we loved until we came to Mac and Coppers. Kaylee is the most talented groomer and an absolute joy to work with! Each time, our golden doodles are groomed to perfection. We always get lots of compliments on their beautiful cuts!Kaylee is also very accommodating to our ever changing schedules. Even squeezing us in when our dogs become matted and can’t make it to their usual 6 week appointment. Recently, one of our dogs got sprayed by a skunk late one night, and she was able to get us in at 8am the next morning for a special de-skunking treatment they offer which saved our home and our sanity!!Kaylee is always so sweet and the most talented groomer we’ve ever had. I truly couldn’t recommend her and the rest of the Mac and Coppers team enough!

Rude, pretentious, and a VERY unsafe building.Floors are massively uneven and not safe. How did this building pass inspection??? The woman working there is just rude.. insulted what I feed my animals.Thanks, but no thanks..

Kaylee is a great groomer for my yorkie ToTo! He is going to be 15 in March and has become a little hard to handle the past few years. Kaylee is the only groomer who can handle ToTo, he won’t let anyone else near him. She is kind and patient with ToTo and gives him little breaks when he needs them. He always looks beautiful when I pick him up from Mac and Coppers in Portsmouth! Everyone else in the shop is friendly and professional- this shop supplies everything for your pets needs. When I love most about Max and Coppers pet grooming is my dog gets in and out of there quickly. I know he doesn’t like it, so the faster he can get in and out and onto a daily walk the better. It takes about1 1/2 hours for him to be groomed. Thanks for putting in a system where my dog is the focus.

I can’t say enough good about the awesome people at Mac & Coppers. I brought Daisy in for a bath & nails, it was a spa day for her. Emma was great with her as she has anxiety separation issues. She took her time with her and made her feel comfortable. Candace was awesome telling her what a good girl she was. I believe she wanted to stay thinking she was going to be the welcome wagon.I needed to get a few things for her and Nick was fantastic. Tom is awesome and knows what he is talking about & makes sure you are getting what you need. Mac & Copper’s is very lucky to have a great group with so much knowledge working there.

A cat/dog CBD product i bought there, has saved my cat from euthinasia, because she seemed to be suffering and I could not afford the extreme vet bills. I now feel she has FHS, a condition often seen in older cats. It has reduced her terror, hallucinations, biting, zoomies and peeing on inappropriate places, and crying out for no apparent reason. She was hiding in my closet 85% of the day. She now is out of the closet, and has eliminated all above symptoms. Loving again and not scared all the time. Thanks!

I highly recommend Mac & Copper's for grooming! Emma is the only person we trust to groom our Goldendoodle. She is very friendly and professional. She always does a wonderful job and cuts the hair just as we ask! They are great! :)
