pretty great service, but my bagger was stuffing as much stuff as possible into each bag and like 3 of them ripped by the time i got home. one of said bags had 4 glass containers of tomato sauce and almost all of them shattered because of the bag being way too heavy

My cashier Jan Z was great. I got almost $500 worth of groceries which they rang up and bagged by themselves. The manager did not help and just walked around. She could have helped you'd young man or opened another register since only 2 were open. Thank you Jan!!!

OK, this is truly truly the best of the best grocery stores selection meats deli bakery goods fresh produce everything unbelievable I was in there for two hours just found everything my chef wanted credible experience of people friendly and helpful exotic food names and I’ll be going back there it’s only 3 1/2 miles from my place in MAWent back again this morning Karen and it hasn’t only been working for sure three days and so helpful nice and understanding. She even help me bring a second carriage out to my car I just wanna thank you in writing Karen!

The vibrant asthetics cannot blur the high prices compared to local Market Baskets. More importantly, CHECK YOUR FOOD. In any isle, with almost any food, you will find something expired. I already called and complained once to corporate. The manager called back, left a message, and apologized. A week later, when Shaws was the only grocery store open (their only real advantage these days), I found the following foods. (See attached photos.) Look at those dates, and I specifically mentioned expired yogurts in my complaint and the manager said he would take care of it.Aside from obviously this expired food and the convenience of being open longer, there's only three registers or less open during peak times so expect a wait. If you need something from the last holiday, they probably still have it on sale. Shaws used to be known as the store better than Market Basket but that is no longer the case.

If store closes at 10 sections should be open till 10 then or 930 then they clean after.... You walk. In around 8 n bakery closed deli is cleaning or has workers that makes u stand around or walk by u n not help you... There should be more them 1 person working in each department till close.

If it wasn't for the cashier, Lizzy, my family would never shop at Shaws. This store is a pain to deal with overall, but seeing Lizzy makes the terrible experience fade away. She is always upbeat, and absolutely amazing to our daughter. Every time we go through her line, she always has a book of stickers for the kids to pick from. Today she had the cutest light up Halloween rings. She is just an absolute joy to come in contact with. My daughter lights up every time she sees her, and Lizzy always takes the time to chat with her. Such a great experience as long as Lizzy is there!

Got a cake / cupcakes from the bakery for my childs birthday this past weekend and everything was PERFECT & FRESH !! Everyone had great things to say in regard to the flavors of the cupcakes and delicious frosting ! Thank you to the bakery team and the wonderful employee who took my order for paying such great attention to what we were looking to get,you guys nailed it ,great job !! (:

Massage currently hold extremely good deals with their U deals. I have also found that their prices rival the other 2 supermarket giants in the area. Learning to use their app is a must.

It's a good place.If it's on sale.Otherwise the extended hours are pretty much the only benefit.I can pay anywhere between 20% to 45% less elsewhere.It's less crowded.So if you like to get in and out and not have as many people to deal with that's a plus.The quality is very good but some things can be overpriced.Example something I buy all the time cost about $5 I'd have to pay $9 there.Then again occasionally there'll be something that's just a little less expensive because it's on sale.

I'm done forever with this store. Last couple times shopping there is only 1 register open with a line. They force you to use the self checkout and if you need help you get adutude. Prices are also higher than all other stores and no help.

They tried to cheat me out of half my groceries. Not really, but their app and chat services are ATROCIOUS. I ordered Drive up and Go and they failed to include $50 worth of items. Trying to figure out what happened was a nightmare. The app would not allow me to report the missing items even though the Chat Bot continuously referred me to this. I was finally in line to talk to an actual person, twice. Both times I waited a very long time for an agent to connect and once I explained the situation I was disconnected. The third time I tried I was not allowed to speak to an agent. At this point an hour has passed and I'm just trying to figure out where my order is. I call the store, again on hold. Customer Service connects me to Drive up and Go- where I wait another 1/2 hour on hold. The person who answers says my items have been there the whole time and they were confused as to what they were for- guess they weren't labeled? How did they not catch that they were part of an order and why did it take an hour and a half and 5 people to figure it out? Hire more people, get rid of garbage AI and put down the vape.

Shaw’s Plaistow: this review is long overdue. I love your store: clean, fresh, staff amazing…I can go on and on. But I want to specifically commend bakery today: Bakery, I have gotten your insane moist cakes for my kids parties for years. They are legit amazing. Picked up a chocolate cake for my daughter’s bday this morning and I can’t even tell you!! I don’t even like cake! So incredibly good and incredibly decorated. First year I didn’t pre order so I was nervous and it was insanely good. Thank you, Shaw’s Plaistow. Not just for the cake but for the amazing food and service.

I go there because it's convenient and they're open later than Market Basket. They also carry some items that you won't find at other stores. The prices are a little higher than Market Basket as well, but make sure to get their ad to take advantage of the deals. Service is just alright, but they aren't terribly busy, which is a plus.

I shop here because they hired me once to work in the LA Carte department. I've been a loyal shopper ever since. The Plaistow location is my least favorite... and I've lived in Lewiston Maine.

The majority of the employees are very unfriendly and very miserable. I am very disappointed with the very snobby employee who was between in the frozen section and the bread section and he is around in his early 40s and he is very unfriendly. I heard him using foul language that is very inappropriate in public. Also, my friend went to go ask the meat department employee, if they sell the kind of meat that she was looking for and he responded with a very rude attitude like this: WE DON'T HAVE THAT!!!!! Very disappointed that there is no ethical standards in the workplace!!!!!

If you hit the weekly flyer sales they have some great deals. The quality if the items here is pretty good,their bakery department is hands down phenomenal. Their deli and other parts if the store however are very expensive, a few dollars more than other local chains and for this reason I go here for the specials but its not my main place to shop

Store was clean, roomy, beautiful produce department, lots of things other markets dont restock quick enough. Prices little higher quality very good. I went I had gone to 3 other stores for creamer I like an they were out. Shaws had it.
