My 8 year old Golden Retriever had a groom at Petco in Plaistow NH. It was the worst experience ever! Do NOT go here!!! He is traumatized will not even look at me……scared since he got home. He is a very gentle and friendly dog normally. It took them 4.5 hours and I paid $120 for the Essential Plus package. He was wet when I picked him up and they gave him “the COVID cut” bc it looks like the stylist had no idea what she was doing. He is shaved except for his tail and head. It’s awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Booked an appointment last night for the next afternoon. Lauren was amazing with my very skittish and nervous pup. Everyone there was extremely nice. I would definitely recommend and I’ll be back.

Had our puppies first groom here and Megan did a great job! I did have an issue using a coupon and needed to pay 2x after some time of figuring out what to do. We are all assuming only one charge will clear. The manager did give me a coupon (money off next time) for my trouble that I did appreciate.

Friendly & helpful staff. The pets for sale in the store all appeared healthy & in clean enclosures. The fish had extremely clean tanks, the reptiles were vibrant, rodents were all very active and healthy looking. They also have several clean water bowls in the back of the store next to the water fountain for your dog to use. Very well stocked store too!

Nice quality product for a good price I like how the leash has a little clip for the poop bag holder and the poop bag holder is not plastic it's like a pouch material and it has a nice quality zip up and it has a little clip to hang on the leash and where you hold the leash it has a little ring you can click that on I highly recommend it

Brittany, Brittany, Brittany! What a wonderful employee and asset to Petco! I was "that guy" with a return but no receipt or return QR. Brittany was able to pull up my online order using just my phone number. She also helped 2 other customers while I was getting a product to scan. Came back to counter to find her carrying a BIG bag of dog food to a pick up customer. She offered to carry it out to the car for them, I was truly impressed. So thankful she made my return so easy. Her dedication will keep my business at Petco, hopefully Plaistow.

Emily did a great job on my dog. She cut his nails, which was a miracle. He fights when he sees the nail trimmers. The staff is friendly and they give a report card at the end of the session. I really appreciated that. My only gripe is that they are impossible to get on the phone. I understand that they are with the dogs, but someone in the store should pick-up the phone when it rings.

Got snacks for our dog who is actually suffering from cancer. Looking for pain meds for him. I feel badly how much pain he's in. Just lays there crying. My son is Great w him, lie down next to him and rub his back head helps put him to sleep. He's funny because I don't live there anymore but he gets excited when he here's my voice , I lie with him rubbing his back and if I try to stop for just 5 seconds he kicks me w a paw,, lol. Then he Actually raises his paw & puts on my body so if I try to move, get up, it wakes him and he starts crying to the point when it's time for me to leave I actually start crying. Animals are Family members forever. Amen.

The Staff at the Plaistow NH location are always extremely helpful and go out of their way that you find what you are looking for always engaging with customers asking if they need assistance. To say that their general manager is unprofessional, rude and hostile is an understatement. So much so I canceled my pals membership, will not continue training and will not enter any store she manages. Petco needs better people in their manger roles to say the least.
