I got last minute balloons, on way to beach, here. They were for my sons 2nd bday pics we were having done. The balloons were a bit pricey. I got 5 plain white and an extra large #2 balloon, all filled w helium. Cost roughly $21.50 for the 5 white and silver #2 w/ helium. They were great for the photos. 3 popped by time I got balloons back home. The ones that I salvaged are still floating, one week later, tho! The reason I’m giving 5 stars is mainly bc they had huge selection of party decor, in store AND bc I left my keys and wallet behind (yay) and they called me first thing the following am (I didn’t notice I lost these belongings until after they’d closed) and told me they had my keys and that they were in their safe for safe keeping. When I retrieved my wallet and keys, everything was still in wallet. I was just happy I didn’t lose my wallet and spare car key!

Great experience at party's City the other day. I was there last minute getting my son's balloons ready. The sales clerk and general manager were very accommodating.

I would like to report an inhumane experience which affected me personally. I feel my happiness was jeopardized at this very location. five or so minutes ago, maybe ten if we’re being generous, i walked into party city with good in my heart. i was greeted with poor customer service and a woman who believed she could return balloons. after carefully selecting my pop rock flavor i paid for my five items and left, unaware that an injustice had just been commited. my pop rocks were nowhere to be found. i scoured left and right for the popping balls of happiness and even went back inside where the employee told me they weren’t there. devastated, i left. after having a change of heart i called to double check the whereabouts of my purchased snack. they held the phone for two seconds before saying they were in the parking lot, which i was looking at as they spoke. i do not wish bad things on any person whom works here, but i hope they understand that they were not in the parking lot and i will hold this in my heart.

Store manager is great!! I had a delivery done for my sons birthday and the driver forgot the helium tank!! The store manager delivered it to me personally after hours!! So kind! 🎉🎉🎉

So this is the second time this happened. We go in for balloons and they tell us that there is a three day wait. On top of it they could “sell”us 37 dollar helium tank. They almost enjoyed telling us that they couldn’t help. Helium tank at target is 26 dollars. They also had many balloons that would’ve met our needs that were “display” so here’s an idea give us the display balloons and then when you have some free bin with time fill those up while there’s no people waiting for anything. Clearly they don’t train the staff on how to problem solve. As I said it happen twice once before we will never go there again! Btw, I should add that we needed two balloons. A number 1 and 6. It’s ok. We will get it the next time our kid turns 16. So annoyed.

My son was super excited (and maybe his dad was a little bit) about their wide selection of customized candy for any occasion. We specifically came in for chocolate coins- there were so many different color options and size options! Service was fast and finding what I needed was a breeze.

I was greeted immediately by another staff member, and asked initially if i needed help while walking around by Garret. He was an absolute pleasure. Very informed and helped me work through an idea using a product i hadn’t initially considered when i couldn’t find what i had been looking for (a birthday crown that was mario themed). When I was ready to check out it was Garrett again that assisted me at the register and he helped me to get the order the i had also placed. It was so refreshing to have such a pleasant conversation and he was professional and knowledgeable. I have no questions as to where i’m going to be getting every event decor i will ever need even though this particular store is slightly further than another from home. Thanks Garrett! You made my kiddos morning and day at school perfect!!

I love this place. Always have what I need when I'm organizing a children's event. I wish they had table clothes that matched the theme. I get a plain color that matches the theme. I also just buy big packs of utensils elsewhere, but do get some themed ones for decor purposes and for the kids. Price is also reasonable!

My wife and I take my daughter here all the time. She loves the colors and her favorite characters are everywhere. Well now we are regulars lol. Naomi And the rest of the staff make my daughter feel like a rock star. I haven’t gone the last few times but my wife told me how everyone sees my daughter says hi, smiles and waves. Well yesterday I went in and wow the love they gave my daughter melted my heart. They made her feel so special I ran up asking what Naomi‘s name was so I could specifically mention her here. She is such a sweet person. We started joking around because I asked where all the Yankees supplies were and she laughed. I seriously can’t stress how much we appreciate their kindness. Thank you everyone! My daughter thanks you as well. You guys rock!!

If you are going to blow up balloons at the register you need to have more than one cashier. I just stood in line for 30min waiting for 2 customers in front of me to have balloons blown up. Never coming back here. Oh, and the manager came up front, saw the line and then went back out back. Nice customer service.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! They say they will blow up your balloons for you; will even quote you a price over the phone. But what they neglect to tell you (after driving 25 minutes to their store) is "Oh, sorry, we do not accept walk-ins until after 1:00." My two year old daughter's birthday is at 12:00 and now she won't have her Minnie Mouse balloons.

Great place to pick up party goods and costumes -- including costume accessories. They had almost everything I needed but also I was looking for specialty items that Party City wouldn't ordinarily carry or otherwise had a small selection. It had enough selection to satisfy most for why I went there and was able to almost fulfill my need at 100%.

BEST Balloons and best service! I was pleasantly surprised that Party City was opened on a Sunday AND that their prices were comparable and even in many cases less expensive than other places, including grocery stores in the area. Their selection was unmatched and I spent under $25 for 3 large bunches of balloons with three character balloons (batman, spiderman, ninja turtles).On party day, the unthinkable (in the eyes of my 4 year olds) happened and the bunches of balloons were released into the air accidentally. I immediately called back, they were able to pull up my order and redo it right away. My husband picked up the second bunch and they didn't even charge us for the replacements (even though it was our fault the balloons got released). I wouldn't go anywhere else for balloons!

I WILL NEVER shop at this Party City location EVER EVER AGAIN! Three people were working yesterday, two behind the counter talking and one man was in the aisles. He walked around and stalked me like I was stealing. I obviously needed assistance bc I was walking around lost with two children under three and no one could be bothered to help me! Upon checking out the gentleman employee was the one that checked us out, he took my balloon order and had no patience what so ever. My son was tired and so cranky by this point that I was totally irate. My sister was also in need to check out and my order was taking FOREVER and neither of the two other workers were too involved in their private conversation to help her so it took double the time. Please do me a favor and go to Portsmouth Party City where they LOVE their job!!!

Well picked over. Only saw four people working and they were all behind the counter blowing up balloons. There were at least 5 people waiting in line to check out when we came in and they were still there when we got up to the counter to check out. Ended up not buying anything and just leaving.

Just left Part City. Great costume selection eve this close to Halloween. Friendly, helpful, patient staff helped us with our costume selections and fittings. I highly recommend doing your party and Halloween shopping here.

Would give NO stars if possible. Everyone who works here is super rude and clearly hate their job. Went in on February 15th to see if they have discounted Valentine's Day supplies for a school dance since I work at a private, Catholic school where the teachers pay for their own supplies/decorations. There was a carriage full of decorations that had been pulled from the wall and when I inquired about purchasing them they said "No, because they are 'disposable' items". What??!! So, this company would rather throw away perfectly new items than donate them or allow me to purchase them at a discount for school use?? Unreal. Will never shop at this location or any other location again. What a wasteful company.

Not worth the money I spent, I bought a bunch of balloons for my daughters birthday and by the end of the day the balloons were already starting to droop and by the end of the night we’re already on the floor. I will definitely be taking my business to the party city in Salem

Staff is not helpful at all. No variety for balloons. Couldn’t find an item and asked them for help twice and they couldn’t be bothered to walk and show me where this item was. They’ve lost my business. Off to Party Center in Salem, NH I go!

I'VE BEEN PLANNING MY WEDDING AND BEEN GOING IN THERE A LOT LATELY. I ALSO WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. EVERY TIME I GO THERE ASSISTANT MANAGER IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! SHE RECOGNIZES ME AND KNOWS EXACTLY WHATS GOING ON AND KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT I NEED. SHE COMES RIGHT OVER TO ME AND IS EXCITED TO JUMP IN AND HELP ME, SHE HAS HELPED MAKE THIS SOOO MUCH EASIER AND COMING FROM THE BRIDE YOU KNOW IT MEANS A LOT.
