Great people there. I always look for Dot in the bakery and Steve in the deli. A couple items in grocery are not always available but it's always a pleasant shopping experience at the Plaistow Market Basket.

Love your bakery. Nicely decorated cakes. All bakery items always fresh and tasty. Staff helpful. Hard to get threw isles dew to staff restocking. The bath supplies and medicine isles are very hard to get thew. Isles close together hard to find products. I buy most of my meats here when I do not go to the Bucher. Haven't been disappointed yet.

I usually find this store to be an enjoyable easy visit. They have a whole lot of variety packed in a small place. The store is always clean and everyone is very pleasant!

The items in the isles aren't plan out correctly. People spend more time looking at the signs and trying to figure out where things are. They have items in areas with other items that make no sense why they are there. This store needs to redo the plan o gram and fix this because it's very frustrating.

Reminds me of the Stratham Market Basket but this one has a limited Market's Kitchen and a Sushi counter. Store is narrow with confusing floor arrows at the entrance next to customer service. Floors need a good cleaning. Clearance section has produce and grocery items together. Funny smell coming through doors that lead to the warehouse next to clearance. Staff was friendly but check out clerk didn't stop someone loading up their groceries on the register counter while I was finishing my transaction. Carts were being pushed through and handles were being wiped down at the entrance. Redbox available.

Left a bag in the cart that had a birthday card and 2 anniversary cards from the Paper Store. My error, but when I asked the Customer a service girl if somebody had brought the bag to Customer Service desk, she couldn’t even bend over to see if the bag was in a spot that she could not see from where she was standing. Store sucks and it’s not any cheaper than Shaws

Everything here is good except for the extremely slow service at the Deli!!! I try to avoid the deli at all costs but when I need something from the deli, then I plan on sitting there waiting for at least 20 minutes!!! The service is very slow and the employees seem lazy

If you had asked me my favorite store pre-Covid, I would’ve picked this store hands down. Idk what’s happened since, but this place is terrible! The only redeeming quality is the workers (they’re the only reason I gave an extra star). They’re great! From 2 people barely being able to fit down an aisle, to the house fraus meandering around clueless blocking up the aisles and intersections, to pallets and carts of stock, to being out of stock on multiple items, the meat dept passing off tri-tip as sirloin tips, the bakery prices have doubled ….I can’t stand going here! I can’t remember the last time I’ve been able to complete my shopping list in one stop. More and more I find myself going up the street to Shaw’s. It’s less crowded, better selection, self checkout so hardly any lines… If you want to go to this MB after work for a quick in and out, you’re gonna be sorry. I’ve been wanting to write this review for months, but yesterday was the final straw. I’m done shopping here.

Most all the morning cashiers and creww that work weekdays are very nice. This store has poor rotation of product and you can easily find many out of date or near out date products. The dropping of a pallet or pallets in an isle to stock the shelves is a big issue there. It's a busy location and hard to meet be through the line of pallets along with not being able to get to get some items on your list. Using a utility cart would be a lot better than stationary pallets on the floor.Poor ordering of product is a huge issue. There are quite a few things I can't get but can get at other nearby Market Baskets in Haverhill. Some of there meat cutters are not that good. Uneven cuts look like they were done by a 12 year old. If you buy a multi pack of steaks they are all different thicknesses and not by a little but by a lot. They will fold an extra blood pad under an uneven steak to make it look even. The deli can be a trainwreck depending who is working. Some will yell out 2 number quickly back to back with no slight pause between numbers. Then that sometimes leads to customers debating who is really next even though you have a ticket starting you're really next. The store has issues that can be fixed easily. Over 20 years shopping there I have not seen an attempt to make things better.

Always busy because it is the cheapest prices. Don't ever come on the weekend mornings. Organization always drives me nuts. Why keep frozen food on both ends of the store? I can't tell you how many times I have wandered through the store searching for something that should be easy to find.

They don't have the best produce, but otherwise this is a very convenient location to get everything you need in one stop. Their artisan sliced bread is the best. Their sandwiches are better than the ones at better known shops, and a better deal as well, give them a try.

This store is one of the smaller Market Basket's in my area. I have 8 in easy driving distance from my home. Each one is a little different from the others, but meat prices have gone out of site in all the stores. I wanted to buy a small steak and found very little offered in a price range I could afford. Pork and chicken aren't quite as bad, but their catching up. I'm beginning to try their pre-made dinners which are good and only require a few minutes in the microwave. As a senior, these meals save me time and money. If you price out all the ingredients in these meals, their not as bad as you would think. Since I'm not going to become a vegetarian and I'm to old to work, I'm trying new ways to save money on food.

Yeah, if you could go ahead and put your ketchup and mustard in the same aisle like you're from planet Earth, that'd be great. I know you want us to traipse through the whole store and see more things to buy but it actually just annoys us.

Ok, aisles are too small. Needs to be updated/renovated/ rebuilt.

Love the large super center they have in Epping. Prices have gone up on everything. Clean store with a large selection of everything. Hannafords meats are cheaper. Paper goods and condiments are less at MB.

I always think most staff is great! Laura in the Deli is the BEST! SHE'S ALWAYS SMILING & FRIENDLY!! ONLY downside, they're not carrying the creams we like, there always out but due to supply shortages I'm sure.

Pros: Good prices, great selection. Cons: Very narrow aisles, often crowded, almost always a line at checkout. Bring your patience and a smile. I shop Aldi first (great prices, huge aisles, lightning fast checkout, no selection) down the road then come to Market Basket to pick up the items Aldi inevitably did not have.

I don't know if I have enough space to type all the EXCELLENT COMMENTS on this store!!! It's ALWAYS clean; neat; well-managed; well-staffed; well-stocked AND has MANY COURTEOUS, HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE EMPLOYEES!!!! If something isn't right, they'll make it right!! They are an example after which ALL retailers should strive !!!!!They "kids" that work there are so nice I feel like they are my nieces and nephews !! 🤓 Considering ALL the "Supply-Chain Issues" and delays, EVERYONE working there tries to give you "More for Your Dolla" !! 😁Again, I'm PLEASANTLY SURPRISED at the effort of managers, supervisors and employees put into keeping the store neat, clean and as well stocked as they possibly can do !! It's new everytime I go in there 😁. I like THIS store SO MUCH, I could LIVE in small room (if they provided one for me 🤓)!!!Also, it goes without saying that they guarantee your satisfaction or your money back (unless a credit or exchange is needed).

I love MB! They always have what I want. The grocers are all courteous. The deli specialists are polite and quick and clean. The butcher has never steered me wrong with his suggestions. And the prices are the BEST anywhere!

Every time I go in there I find their prices go up. Most of their specials are okay. Used to shop there a lot but I have found other retailers offer better deals. Sometimes it's almost worth the drive.

Store was a little dated, but there was plenty of friendly staff. Almost every check out had a cashier and bagger, and there was staff all over the store. Produce and fish market were well stocked amd parking was easy.

Plaistow nhIived in Haverhill quite close a couple of years back, so I am familiar w the store which is fairly small and old.On Thursday early afternoon, ran into two surly employees who were visibly put out by my inquiries as to what aisles I might find things in (special shout out to the person doing inventory in the personal care aisle who did the best impression of a customer service put upon snarl I have ever seen).Fairly well stocked. Also, the guys stocking the tonic aisle?? Not MB employees but yeesh. One was training the other. Obviously, but they were spectacularly rude.I managed to get my cart around the handcart left in the middle of the already narrow aisle, but when someone in an electric cart came by and asked them to move it, they did. Afterwards, as I was leaving the aisle (which did not have the common item I had been looking for), I heard some remarks I may not have heard in their entirety but sounded disparaging, certainly. Something along the lines of tolerating other ppl.So. All in all. A solid meh

As a resident of Florida and being spoiled by all facets of shopping at Publix, it is a joy to come North and shop at Market Basket! The shelves are stocked, the prices are good, the meat selection is awesome and the efficient and friendly cashiers and crew make Market Basket the only choice in the area.
