I have been getting some of my horse equipment and riding equipment at this store for many years. I have always enjoyed this store and the many different things they carry. The only thing is I wish there was an easier way to search the clearance blankets and things. If there may be a way to hang tags on them and maybe keep sizes in order though I know things aren't always put back. This is just a good store for horses and rider equipment and more.

I always go to Dover Saddlery in plaistow New Hampshire because it has more variety of stuff such as saddle pads, Halters, bridles, brushes, etc. Staff is always helpful and welcoming!

My kid loves the place and people are very nice. I don't ride, but I do like purchasing items where the customer service is good. They always let you return items that didn't work or dont fit.

Very good English selection, beautifully organized store with just about anything you could want. Found what I was looking for in the basement clearance, so that was a score! I do wish some sizes were a little smaller (particularly support/brushing boots) but I can see that the store is likely geared towards larger horses than my 14hh stout mare. Good experience, friendly and helpful employees.

Used to be my first pick for supplements but selection’s have gone down. Only swing by when I’m in the area to check out the basement, not my usual go to. Staff is super friendly and helpful!

More my daughters thing, but was surprised at the size of the store and amount of items. 3 floors, nice friendly staff, jumped right in to help my daughter with what she needed and fitting properly for her boots. My girls go there and will keep going.

I just had to come on here and write a review from such an AMAZING customer service experience. This place literally has the most friendly patient staff I have ever seen! I could not rave more about this place and there quality products. There staff is just so great I cannot begin to explain! I will be back 10 stars ⭐️

I'll never ever go back there. The staff is uptight and snooty. "Can't be bothered" attitude. Their website doesn't at all say anything about English only. Go elsewhere.

Went in looking for non show britches for myself and my daughter. Lots of items in the summer sale, which was great if I was a size 32 or under. Virtually nothing over that size that I could find. I did find 2 good pairs at great prices in the kids section. Next time, please make sure there is adequate supply before a big sale. Drove nearly 2 hours and went home without britches for me :-(

I drove almost a hour for a pair of boots that I called ahead to be placed aside so I could try them on. I get there and wait because no one knew were the lady put them and they just had this one girl running all over trying to find them. While trying them on and asking questions the girl was helpful but, she seemed new/inexperienced. As she was standing helping me another older associate came up to her and was just down right rude to her. I bought them walked to the car looked at them again and realized they had damage, ended up bringing them back and they didn’t have a replacement available (the box also was old looking and had damage and dust).

Took my daughter to get a riding helmet and boots for horse camp and the staff was very helpful. They fit her for her helmet and tried many style boots to make sure she would be most comfortable and safe! Thank you!

Tent sale was so so well organized and I didnt feel overwhelmed even with all the product. The staff seemed helpful, selection was fantastic and the deals were great. The boots originally 400, 50% off and breeches only 15 bucks. What a steal! Looking forward to next year- free saddle pad with each purchase! Thanks DS, love my new boots.

I recently stopped into this Dover which is located in what seems like a historical building/barn (really, it would be a shame not to notice the beautiful beam work as you climb the stairs) to pick up a new riding helmet. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and the woman who helped me with my helmet purchase was obviously well versed in finding the best size and fit for the helmet and also offered her own personal experience with the brand of helmets I was buying as I was not familiar with them. She made the experience quick and easy which left me lots of time to browse the rest of this well stocked store. Four floors of everything horse and rider, including a sale and used section in the basement (saddles, misc. gear, barn equipment, and a complete wall of boots over 20 feet long)! I look forward to returning whenever I need any supplies.

Has everything you need for general house care and riding. Decent but not great saddle selection. Complete selection of apparel for equestrians. Easy to get to. Helpful and friendly staff. The seasonal tent sales are great.

Dear sales people at Dover, Thank you so much for quickly replacing my new schooling helmet. The one I bought had a defective strap and you took it back and exchanged it right away. I do appreciate how easy the exchange was. You are always so patient and helpful whenever I shop at your lovely store. Went into the store to purchase a gift for my wife. Staff person (who shall not be named but it's definitely remembered) made extremely passive-aggressive comments about me being colorblind and not being wealthy. Actively searching for other places to bring my money. I did not, and still don't, feel welcome.

Return policies are bogus especially on 1K helmets. I would recommend seeing what the policies are prior to purchase. My daughter broke her helmet and will now take 2 weeks to send back & get a new one. If I had know that, I would've purchased a different brand which allowed in-store exchanges. Considering the prices, these options should be told to the consumer. My skateboard helmet from the 90's would've withheld a bigger blow than this helmet did.

I was in the area anyway so it was fine. If I had driven the 3+ hours to get there from home I would have been disappointed. Not many bargains in the basement, the selection for Ponies was next to nothing. Hundreds of saddle pads and only less then a dozen were pony size.

I can always count on the Dover staff to provide the upmost professional help. This is no matter whether I am casually shopping, tent sale shopping, or seriously getting ready for upcoming events. The managerial staff is truely the best in what they do. I am so very thankful to have this Plaistow store so close. Kudos to all of the staff!
