Pharmacy review only - I would give CVS Plaistow one star but, in reality, they aren't that much worse than any other healthcare experience these days. The staff appear stressed and overworked, and pass that on to the customers with an extra helping of attitude. I recommend doing your best to not get annoyed with them because that only makes it worse. Clearly, they have been complained about before and nobody cares, so getting angry isn't going to help you (I see reviews about the same employees from two years ago - and they are still there and still miserable). So, ignore the fact that they clearly see you and treat you as an annoyance, wipe the metaphoric spit off your face, and be as nice as you can. Occasionally, when I am overly polite and understanding, I get somewhere with them.

This review pertains to the Pharmacy only. My husband and I have been using CVS Pharmacy forever (over 30 years at least)The Peabody, MA CVS, then the Haverhill, MA CVS, then for ten years the Port St. John, FL CVS and ALL the staff at these locations were just outstanding. We were treated kindly, with respect, they actually listened to our concerns, they remembered our names, and we felt like we were friends with them all! We have moved to Plaistow and have been using the CVS at 4 Plaistow Rd, Plaistow, NH for a year now. Complete opposite experience! When I have had to call, (which I just did) they answer the phone with a monotone, unfriendly and annoyed attitude. They are rude and impatient and do not let you finish a sentence. We got disconnected and forget calling back...I was on hold for about 18 minutes and just hung up. Now, we all know they can see who's calling and they have the number. You would think that the clerk would take the initiative to perhaps CALL THE CUSTOMER BACK?!!! Knowing how difficult it is to get through in the first place! Nope!! That would require a modicum of critical thinking skills! What has happened to Customer Service??? I've ask to speak to the Pharmacy Manager several times and she is always "out on vacation". Time to go through the headache of switching pharmacies. CVS needs to fix this and quick!!

Really all CVS stores are the worst. I came here out of pure laziness because I’d forgotten to request a med refill from my doctor and realized I had an old refill still sitting at this CVS. It’s impossible to get help over the phone, there are long lines whenever you go, none of the staff care (because they’re completely overworked) and not to mention CVS is slowly turning into a terrifying monopoly. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Cvs in Plaistow was a joy to deal with. I was helped by Danny and Faith. They were both extremely helpful, pleasant, and very friendly and supportive during my checkout. Definitely my store!!!! Kudos to them both.

Beware Veterans. This pharmacy makes it clearly known they do not like to serve veterans when it come to filling prescriptions. Very disrespectful and outright rude. Made my wife pay out of pocket while the whole time marketing her feel like she was trying to steal from this store.

Bianca at the pharmacy is hands down the rudest person I’ve had the misfortune of interacting with. She told me twice my prescription for birth control would be filled. I went to CVS on two separate occasions and she kept telling me the script was on hold. I needed this medication and told her that. Called again and spoke with her and she told me it would be ready, I doubt it. Then, she hung up on me. This is the first review I’ve ever written so obviously I’m unhappy. Find another profession perhaps not in customer service. Changing my pharmacy out of CVS indefinitely and encourage you all to do the same.

CVS Plaistow has they most amazing staff! Shout out to Jenn, Claire, Susan, Brian, Amanda, & Jesslyn - as well as the others who I periodically interact with. This staff is helpful, friendly and kind to everyone that walks in that store. They see my face on a several time a week basis and put up with me and all my coupon transactions.I see them all going above and beyond to help customers find an item on the shelves, understand their coupons from the Red Box or just greeting one of the many regulars like myself. I feel more like a friend than a customer when I walk through the doors - and that is an awesome way to do business!Great Job CVS Plaistow! Keep that up!

Pharmacist (tall, blonde hair and glasses) was extremely rude to me and my 3 year old. My son’s DR messed up and sent his script to the wrong CVS. Not only did she lie on the phone about his antibiotics already being filled then canceled and acted like it was the most inconvenient thing in the world to have to do it again because other CVS tried to cancel it, when I went to pick it up, they do not even stock that medication. When I became upset about being lied to she said “well you can leave the store and find it yourself if you want”…. While I holding my sick crying 3 year old who was in obvious need of the medication. Would give them zero stars if I could.

I had to laugh, I mean REALLY LAUGH. An ACTUAL PHARMACIST assisted me in transferring a prescription. He was VERY upset that he waited eight MINUTES on hold to speak with someone at the transfer CVS😎 I really wanted to ask him HOW did that make you feel? BUT, he was NOT a‘HAPPY’ CVS Pharmacist! Have you EVER SEEN ONE? I gave the four stars because the technicians are normally really nice at the Plaistow Road location, AND he did say that he internally, via computer transferred the prescription for me.

I recently had difficulty using a savings card for a $750 prescription. Kim and Nicole were patient and extremely knowledgeable in helping me navigate through the issue causing the savings card's rejection. With their help I was given direction on what I had to do to have this prescription paid for. I am very appreciative for their guidance, help, and kindness.

CVS In Plaistow has one of the BEST staff around!! I have been couponing at CVS for the last 3-4 years and they are always helpful and patient (more patient than me! Lol). Claire, Susan, Chris, Kayla (who just left🙁) Scott, Amanda, Alesha and several others. Outstanding, helpful and friendly team!And to the reviewer that states Chris doesn’t want to deal with coupons that is 100% false - he was the first person I dealt with when I started and he is always helpful! Even talking about coupon deals that are going on that week.Great job CVS Plaistow peeps! Best team around!

If I could give negative stars I would. Hands down the absolute worse pharmacy in NH. I told them well over 10 times my last name and address changed and they clearly are too incompetent to fix it. My husband went to get our daughter’s medicine, which I called in a week ago using the RX number on the bottle in which they filled that first prescription, they told my husband there is no one in the system with that name. Unreal these people are rude and clearly not competent and should not be handling peoples medications. I’ve witnessed some pharmacy staff there be extremely rude to customers to the point I reported them to corporate because it was far beyond acceptable. Absolutely ridiculous. Needless to say we will be looking to move all of our prescriptions elsewhere as there is nothing but a huge headache that comes with filling them here. Stay clear of this pharmacy they are horrible, and that’s an understatement.

I am disappointed by the service at the plaistow pharmacy. Each time I have received the automated message - either by text or call that my prescription is ready, I drive all the way down to the CVS & everytime so far since we've switched to this pharmacy my prescription has NEVER been ready when it says it is.The employees I encounter there are usually minimally helpful and either they have none or only one of my prescriptions ready by the time I arrive. Then it’s always waiting 10-15 minutes for them to finish my order, when I thought it would have been complete already.

If I could give zero stars, I would. One issue after another getting a prescription filled here. I'm done. I never have these problems at Walmart so I guess it's time to switch to there. So you have to go inside to use a coupon and then you wait in line to get to the register only to be told you have to go to drop off to use a coupon. So wait in line TWICE then they get it in the computer. Now go wait in the line over at the register AGAIN because hey you don't have anywhere to be right??????

Store staff is great but the pharmacy staff. WOW. There’s always some issue with my prescriptions. Also the older lady that checks you out is the rudest person ever for no reason. It’s sad that’s how she talks and treats people all day.

I had a prescription sent from my drs to CVS last week. I called to make sure it could be filled, the pharmacy told me yes, give it a few hours. Later that evening I received a voicemail that they are out of stock and would have it in the next day and I would get a text alert when it’s ready. The next day came, never received a text or call from CVS so I called. The pharmacist said they will make sure it’s filled by the next morning so I said ok. I am now going on week two and received a text that my prescription will be ready at 3:33pm today. I showed up in person at the pharmacy today to get it, a kid tells me “oh the delivery truck came today but your pills weren’t on it., come back tomorrow”. He didn’t write my info down, tell anyone.. nothing! So what I show up tomorrow and it won’t be ready again?!? I AM DONE with plaistow cvs pharmacy. You guys are terrible with service! I will get my prescription filled elsewhere! Two weeks to try an get a simple med .. Absolutely insane

Bianaca was extemly helpful for me.She answered all of my questions about all of my medications so efficiently and was very patient with me .Which i appreciate because im suffering with severe siatic pain and it is always nice to be able to deal with a pharmacist who has patience like her helping when you are in pain and can't think straight as well as she helped me to transfer my medication i needed from another CVS since moving easily .As well as when i had another perscription called in and said she could have it ready for me the same day and DID within a couple hours ! I will be using this CVS from now on .I do have to say Bianca is the best imo 😊❤

Pharmacists threw my phone at me and broke it when I called my doctor to speak with them. Pharmacist wouldn't help me receive my prescriptions after I had sugery.In addition, the pharmacy is nuisance by workman's comp claims. They don't go the extra mile to help their customers. I waited over 2 weeks to receive prescriptions. This isn't a 1 time deal. I've been dealing with this horrific customer service for 4 years. Either new management needs to move in or I'll have to take my business to Walgreens.

Went in looking for a lotion that didn’t have isopropyl alcohol in it because I’m allergic so I Asked the blonde tall pharmacist for help half hour before closing and she told me she couldn’t help me find it. she was too busy and There wasn’t a single customer in the store, but yet she was too busy to help me find a lotion that I wouldn’t break out with. She is also very rude to speak too always taking down to me like I know nothing and she is a genius. Customer Service big fat zero! More than likely not going here anymore! Will fill my prescriptions elsewhere as well. Because this is not the first time I have had problems with the pharmacy. Left the store very upset. 😡

It is painfull waiting for a prescription to be filled, not because of the time, which is to be expected, but the pharmacy apparently insists on playing their own music while music is loudly playing in the store. Two people have complained already, the guy at the register just laughs. Says he likes his music better. Very unprofessional atmosphere.
