If you was good comfort food, for a reasonable price then this place is for you.Known for its cinnamon rolls, it is so much more. The breakfast sandwichs at just $5 are the super bargain of the entire area.They also have trinkets, gifts and canned and jarred goods to take back home to help you remember the good times.Reasonable amounts of parking make stopping easy.Staff is the friendliest around.Take a couple of minutes to drive the mile up Day Road off of Rt 3. You will not be disappointed.

Great food! The cinnamon rolls are the item they're known for (plan one roll per two to three people). We also stopped for lunch on the ATVs (you can access from the Pittsburg trail network) and I had a Reuben panini: best sandwich north of the 45th parallel.They also sell shirts and rustic knick knacks.Vegetarian options: A selection of grilled cheeses (with different additions like tomatoes) and salads make sure they can accommodate vegetarians. We have no vegan in our party so less sure about that

The best piece of pastry I ever ate in my 76 years (cinnamon roll), and you are made to feel very special in the way the owner and staff welcome and assist you. Also, a lot of other food choices to pick from besides their signature pastries, including specialty meat pies, breakfast sandwiches, etc.. And don’t forget the creative seating choices and gift shop…wonderful!! Thank you, Kathy…fairly priced and well worth the beautiful scenic trip…impressive!!!

These breakfast sandwiches and cinnamon rolls are the best on earth. I have been looking forward to my vacation so I could enjoy these goodies ever since I first tried them on last year’s vacation. Make sure you include many visits to Green Acres into your Northwoods plans. As an added bonus we ran into one of our favorite stars from North Woods Law.

They make the best cinnamon buns I've ever had.Stopped by for lunch, which was great, and ordered a cinnamon bun to go. I decided to try it when I got home and ate it in seconds. They're extremely light and moist with tons of cinnamon and icing. Went again the next day and bought 4 more.

The cinnamon rolls are delicious. Really big. Two adults can share one. The store opens at 7am, but they don't start serving cinnamon rolls until 9am. You should call at 7am and reserve a cinnamon roll. Or show up and order in person. We did that at 7am, and when we went to pick up our cinnamon rolls at 9:20am, they had already sold out for the day.

I can't say enough good things about Green Acres Country Store. I have tried many different things on their menu and have loved them all. I am normally one of those people that finds something I like and then orders that every time. I have tried several different options on Kathy's suggestion and have never been disappointed. You can either order off the menu or they have plenty of pre-made meals if you are looking to grab and cook for later. A wide array of desserts and pastries to pick from and cinnamon buns like you've never seen in your life. Not only is the food excellent, the customer service can't be beat. I am greeted with a smile every time I go in by anyone that is working. You get treated like a friend, not just a customer. If you haven't made it to Green Acres yet, be sure to go the next time you are in the North Country. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Had the most wonderful experience here. Took my family on the Ride the Wild trails. We saw a sign that said boldly, “food” so we took a turn and went for it. We were pleasantly surprised to find this little country store with excellent eats. The food can be quick grab n’ go or you can buy something to pop in the oven. The owner was a breath of fresh air. I had said, with a sigh, that we didn’t think there was a whole lot more for us to do. She drew me a hand written map showing me all the food in the area and then she told us something else amazing.. she said all of the locals go “moosing” which is just driving up and down Moose Alley until you see a moose. I knew at that point we would need to do that. She also told me about Garfield Falls which ended up being a lovely experience. So we drove 14 miles off the main road to a trail head that said Garfield falls. Then we hiked 1mi to the falls and it was gorgeous. After this we went moosing and we saw a beautiful young moose. These experiences were so memorable to my family, thanks to the friendly owner of Green Acres. You really helped make that trip for us.

What a find! We ordered their chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate bouquet for Valentine's Day, and returned the next day for breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches are excellent - served on delicious, homemade English muffins. As you've probably already read, the cinnamon rolls are giant and amazing. The store inside also has some really cute items! We'll be back!

This place has great ratings for a reason! Sandwiches are a bit pricey ($11 on average), but they do come with chips and an apple which is nice. The trinkets part of the shop is small, but fun to browse while you wait for your food. We would come back

Best cinnamon buns ever! The next day we returned and scored a meat pie. That was dinner for two on Sunday, dinner for one on Monday and dinner for one on Wednesday. Not only splenderifically plentious but really quite tasty.Over all it's a small tourist oriented gift shop/general store but the food brings locals as well.

This was worth the drive (off the beaten path some though excellent signage) because the baked goods are scrumptious and the lunch menu was full of tasty choices. Every thing we ordered - cheeseburger, Turkey & stuffing panini, hot dog and Turkey sandwich with apple, cheese and poppy seed dressing were very tasty. The ingredients were fresh and everything is made to order. They serve breakfast till 11 am and lunch with picnic tables available outside or take it to go. The Country Store offers farmhouse decor items for purchase along with t-shirts and other local items. They have the biggest cinnamon rolls that were out of this world good. Or try the amazing donuts, whoopie pies and other pastries. You can't go wrong stopping here.

Wonderful little shop, Kathy was so kind and made us breakfast before she technically opened because Google was inaccurate on hours. Day old cinnamon rolls were still outstanding, we’ll go back for hot fresh ones after 9am tomorrow. She said to look at her Facebook page for up-to-date hours.

I love Green Acres. I don’t get to North Country as much as I used to but when I am there, I have to stop. I ordered an Apple pie from them the other day and it was fantastic. I love the chocolate zucchini bread. The staff is friendly, courteous and always attentive. Can’t say enough about the place. Love you guys!

Cannot say enough about this gem we found in Pittsburg! Awesome home decor and the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had (with a homemade English muffin). Out of this world cinnamon buns right out of the oven! Blueberry squares were phenomenal too. Kathy was a joy and made us feel at home. We can't wait to go back!

Really awesome spot with very good food. A range of tasty sandwiches, prepared frozen meals such as lasagna, shepherd's pie, sweet bites as well. Amazing homemade English muffins. Little shop inside with nice wood furniture, signs, soaps, etc. Usually open for breakfast and normally closes around 7PM. You can preorder items by phone.

This is the best kept secret in the north! They have the most delicious homemade breakfast sandwiches and incredibly beautiful decor for sale. The owner is super friendly and very passionate about her store. 100% will be back every time we're in Pittsburg!

Delicious baked goods here. They do serve sandwiches but we were on way home to MA and stopped to check it out. Bought some delicious lemon cupcakes with blueberry frosting. Make sure you stop in!
