This was a very nice grocery experience. The staff here were very friendly and professional. Parking is convenient with the lot right outside. They had plenty of items for sale. I noticed that the isles were somewhat more narrow than I am used to. Probably so they can offer more items. I am looking forward to going back again soon.

Mark in the deli was awesome. After cutting a large selection of deli meats for me, he went out of his way to let me know I could get another pound of cheese free as part of a promotion they were running.

Brad in the meat department was delightful. He helped us find the right stuff and was extremely helpful and kind. He also walked us through how to cook it - though I mean don’t stretch it. He probably doesn’t know how to cook everything. But maybe he does. He’s just that awesome.

My last two experiences at Shaws besides buying overpriced items nearly caused me to fall on floors that are way too slick, especially for older people! A broken hip or other could be very bad for you as well as for me. Please do something to improve the floor surfaces as I won’t be going back until you do so. Thank you. Kathleen Brewer

Always have liked shopping at shaws. Usually has everything needed, and when you ask about items that you are looking for they are able to make inquiries for you and follow up regarding your needs. Cashier's always ask if you have found everything you needed. Store is clean and aisles aren't over crowded with "stuff" you have to maneuver through. Well staffed and worker's are dressed appropriately. Overall a pleasant place to go shopping.

It seems that most prices are more expensive than Hannafords and Market Basket. They have a good selection of meats, seafood, and produce. Would rather go here than the chaos at market basket despite the price difference.

This review is only about their grocery baggers and how they need to be trained to pack with care. Today, the bagger threw every thing haphazardly into the bags. Cans on bananas, bread etc. I asked him to stop as he was crushing the delicate items. He said, "Whatever." I had to repack all the bags. Very disappointing!

Small in size but stocked well. Very clean, friendly associates, lots of add. merchandise available. We travel over a half hour to shop here.

It's a smaller store so they don't carry everything you would be used to from a larger one. Usually kept nice and clean. The service is exceptional. Always friendly and helpful if you need it. They have parking spaces for new moms, or a veteran. I love getting wings from here too! Conveniently located just off the circle, it's never a problem getting here.

Shaw's presents itself as a nicer grocery store experience. The other side of that coin though is, for that nice environment, you end up paying for it, in slightly higher prices for commodities. Whereas at other local grocery stores, you might spend less, but the flooring/ decor isn't as well kept.

Absolutely love this Shaws, one if the best locations I've ever been to. Always had a good selection of fresh fruit and veggies and the flower shop is my favorite!!! Gorgeous flowers, orchids, bouquets, plants...I almost always walk out with something pretty. We also love their baked goods. I'm so lucky to live right down the street.

Dropped in to get a cold drink. My first time there I was immediately impressed by the beautiful display of fresh produce. Everything looked like it had just been picked. The local grocery stores in Keene never look this good, except for the Co-op. The store was neat and clean. The prices are a tad high so I couldn't give it a 5. Will definitely stop in again when I'm in the neighborhood.

This Shaws is my favorite one to visit! Everytime I come here I am never disappointed. A great variety of products and stellar customer service! Associate Morgan always has a welcoming smile and goes above and beyond to help me find products. One time I was shopping and I fell on the ground near the registers. Associate Madie immediately came to help me get up and made sure I was ok. I will always come to this Shaws instead of other!

Consistantly the best Shaw's I've been to. Produce is always very fresh and well taken care of. Most of the staff are very helpful. Store presentation and layout is great. If you need to go to a Shaw's, this is one of your best options you will find.

I wish they would be more attentive to expiration dates! I bought the last egg whites and got up the next day to eat healthier, but they were very expired. Had to throw them out. I don't want to get sick getting healthy. I try to check everything there because it is a pattern, but missed that one. Plus do they not appreciate the inconvenience of returning goods?

Shaw's has everything I need. They carry Turkey Hill Ice Cream, their Colombian coffee ice cream is my favorite is the only place I can buy it locally.The check out ladies are very polite.The only thing negative I can say is their beef prices are ridiculous there's no need for it. But you'll fine the same in all stores.

Everytime I go here I regret not going to Market Basket instead, Very Expensive(sometimes double MB's price), food can be close to Expiration date or sometimes expired(because no one is buying it), Items appearing on sale ring up at full price and much of the selection is stuff that no one wants while things that people actually buy are frequently out of stock(I realize it's rough right now but MB with significantly more traffic seems to keep the shelves stocked just fine)Good hours is the only reason I ever make the regrettable trip to this store.

This is the best Shaws and I am fortunate to live in this town to go here. Curtis is an exceptional checkout employee. He is knowledgeable and always professional. He is a terrific asset to the store. Glad to see that he is now in management.

This is my local Shaws. I have been to several others. The service at this location is good and the staff is friendly. The selection is limited compared to, say, Shaw's in the bigger cities. The store is clean and well managed. Their hot wing bar is good too.

High prices, small package volumes, low selection. You will get half a cart of groceries for $150... Peterborough is a wealthy town but, Shaw's only gets away with charging 20-30% more than any other towns grocery stores because there is no competition. Seriously, the boutique organic only grocery stores in town have better prices!! Whole foods prices without any of the whimsy.The service is alright, you will never find more than 3-4 lanes open even in peak hours. I feel bad for the poor staff, they are constantly overworked and understaffed. I don't think I have ever seen a lane without at least 2-3 carts backed up, and that's on a Wednesday morning!! Hire more staff Shaw's!!Good points: store is clean and location is convenient. Staff (when not overworked) are great people. Mostly up to date looking inside and out (there are no self checkout lanes and no contactless payment options at checkout).Shaw's better figure out if the priority is profit or customers, because the door is wide open for someone else to come into town with a better answer to that question!**2021 Update**I wrote this review years ago, still live in the area and still frequent this location every few days as we grab items. I wanted to update it a little to reflect things as they are now:Pros:- Awesome new "Order online and quick pickup" option. If you have small kids (we do!) This is such a time and energy saver. The staff are really great as well and do a great job loading up the car and everything. How cool is that?- Dont overlook the deli and prepared food, they have some good lunch foods and go bags. Some of the deli meat and cheese is really good quality stuff.- I very much appreciate how the store is continuing with COVID guidance, not everywhere does and its a small thing to do to take care of your community. Keep doing great Shaws and lets help each other out through this thing.- They have added contactless payment at the registers!Cons:- Prices are still higher than other area grocery stores by about 30%.- The staffing levels are still very awkward. During rush hours and the regular workweek, there are never enough cashiers on hand. You will wait in line for a long while if you come in Monday-Friday. Late at night though? Or on the weekends? About 30 teenagers grouped around the cash registers while one person checks out lol.- No self checkout. Im a "younger" person and I appreciate the small things that make chores go faster. If I just need a case of beer or a gallon of milk... Id rather just do it myself and be in and out of the store in five minutes vs 25 waiting for a register.Overall: Shaws is doing great continuing to improve and thats what its all about right? Bumped up a star.

The egg department is empty of all but yuppie fufu eggs. I was just forced to buy 18 for 9$. Try local neither Hillsboro nor Peterborough have eggs.

Not a great place but the only 'super market' in town. Expensive, lots of sold out items. Produce limited. Produce dept hasn't improved since 'redesign'. Staff are nice though
