This is a specific review of the new Hannaford "to go" delivery service.I live in a senior community and although I still drive I do not like shopping. With Hannaford delivers I was skeptical. I like choosing my own food. I wrote specific directions on the order and everything was fulfilled to my greatest expectations. You can sit in your bed and order right from the flyer on your phone and have everything delivered right to your... What a concept.Whoever shopped for me did an amazing job! And I'm quite particular. Everything was chosen and packed perfectly into heavy brown handle bags.I called the manager to say that..... Thank you Hannaford's.

Came here on A Sunday around afternoonBest:A) )It’s good because they have a lot of selections.B) It’s right by the Major road.C) Nice and looks clean.D) Polite employees and nice staffCons:A) Their stacking is lacking and they should more things on the shelves ASAP.B) They need to renovate.All in all nice place to buy snacks and food shopping.We will come back in the future.

Will usually shop elsewhere for most groceries because it's just plain cheaper... Mostly Walmart or now Market Basket. Solid produce department though. Friendly, helpful staff too.

They need to fix their deli bags. They constantly put stickers on the folds of the bag and they constantly rip the deli bag meaning that I have to use all of the meat/cheese at once. They either need better stickers or need to stop putting them on so tight so that they keep ripping the plastic bag open.

Ordered a sandwich tray 2 days ahead online for 3pm. Arrived at 4pm. They didn't have the order. All deli staff were extremely nice but didn't know what to do and had not made one before. The store manager, Scott, was very snippy. No apologies only attitude. We never asked for anything free. The only thing he said to us was "if you want it for free you have to go to the service desk" in a condescending tone. I cannot stand long so that was not an option and my husband refused to take his "charity". I ended up sitting on the floor at the deli waiting for the tray to be made. Once again, the deli staff was fantastic, and the sandwiches were delicious. We paid for the tray through self checkout.

I mean... it's a Hannaford? Had their pre-made expensive Italian sandwiches before from the deli before and they were actually pretty darn good. Dry, but good. The sushi is nice. Usually can get some good pricing on chicken here and some different or better produce than Walmart, depending. Good light beer selection. Be wary of self checkout if you're getting booze... the staff always take forever to come approve this.

Good selection but not easy to find anything - beverages spread across the store so if you're looking for something in particular it's hard to find. Prices seem normal apart from the prepared foods section (wraps and sandwiches seemed overpriced and you're better off picking something up from a local restaurant instead). The baked goods section was particularly well stocked and everything looked delicious.

Yeah its basically a stop and shop whatever the prices are high that's fine I knew what I was getting into. But man what is it about buying beer here? I was getting some vacation groceries for my parents with my older brother and little sister. Me and him are in our mid 20's she's a teenage girl. So as we are checking out the cashier was already pretty rude and rushed I get it though it is busy all the time I understand. When she scans the beer she asks to see ALL of our IDs even though I am the one paying but hey that's okay so me and my brother show our license and she says and you too (pointing at little sister who is 15 and does not have a license yet). The cashier then grabs the single case of beer and yells at me that she cant sell cause I could be giving alcohol to minors. Sisters just a kid so I figured it wouldn't be an issue but man the cashier was heated about it. Then the cashier keeps telling me "YOU'RE ON CAMERA, JUST KNOW IF YOU COME BACK TO BUY BEER I'LL CALL THE COPS". Which that is just super unnecessary, so I went to Walmart and they sold us beer and thought my story was ridiculous. Hannaford I ask you, what kind of authority do you give your cashiers?

What a very unprofessional cashier "Amanda" (wearing glasses) at the local Hannaford in North Conway behaving with less than professional behavior. I was being ridiculed by this cashier for wearing my pajamas into the store to retrieve a prescription from the pharmacy after just having had a mastectomy procedure the day before. I was treated overnight for severe complications.I found her body language to not only be rude but unprofessional as well. It was more than obvious when she walked over to another associates ear and was talking with hands covered over her mouth as if the only person who could hear her was the other employee. Wrong. I hear her tell the other employee to look at me.I had just come from a major surgery and this is why I wore my pajamas into the store. I was advised to dress comfortably by the Breast Surgeon.I found this individual who made it obvious that all attention should be on ky attire to be a resentful human being for God knows why she needed to mock me for my clothing other than she must have been bored. The other associate made it just as obvious by the eye language taking place. If I was the store manager of the Hannaford in North Conway, I would ensure that the respect and non judgmental conduct of peoples personal opinions did not impact the level of common core standards for self respect or respect for the customer. Why else would two grown woman enjoy insulting a customer based on appearances is beyond abhorrent. I feel compelled to write a letter to upper management about this childish behavior from these two employee's. Just vile. Heartbreaking and sad. I did not ask to be diagnosed with breast cancer and nobody should be standing at the front end of the store with contentious disregard for upholding basic principles of treat other's how you want to be treated. Or better yet, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all. Bottom line. Its not a daycare. Its a grocery store. Grow up Amanda.

We are out of towners here for a few days and couldn’t decide on what we wanted for food to bring to our hotel. This place has hot and cold prepared foods and is also a full service supermarket and a pharmacy. The food was unreal. We got a combo of salads, hot chicken wings/nuggets and some cold foods. Couldn’t have had a more enjoyable meal if we had gone to a restaurant and everyone here was really pleasant and helpful. I would recommend going here for a bite to eat or shop for your groceries.

It's Hannaford. Everything is a little better laid out then in a market basket. Everything is a little cheaper than a Shaw's. Everything is a little higher quality than at Aldi's or a Walmart.

During my visit (with a broken arm) I was offered help several times by multiple employees. The staff is always friendly and they always have the things I need. Love my local Hannaford.

Location! So nice near the park and lake. Hot bar and other great fresh food options for us to stopping by anytime. We got the chicken wings. So hot and fresh. Better than the restaurants. and very fresh produce. And many seafood choices. And my Tesla was charging while we shopping!😃

I live out of state but shop at Hannafords when in the Conway area. Compared to the markets I shop at near home, they excel in some areas. First, the deli and bakery have far more choices of quality desserts and prepared foods. The produce department has tons of variety and the shelves look clean, neat, and organized. When I ask for information on a specific fruit or vegetable, the staff is polite and helpful. The only downside of the market is the prices, which are higher than where I shop at home.

Very average grocery chain store. Despite very high pricing for decades in Maine the stores are very average aesthetically. They should look like a Wegman’s but sadly they look closer to a Shaws. Their greed opened them up to be crushed by MarketBasket

Very expensive and the deli isn’t able to get the food out on time on a regular basis. Has variety, but is a frustrating experience to shop there. Lots of seniors and tiny aisles makes it a nightmare to navigate.

Hard to give good reviews to supermarkets right now with the prices these days and this store is under construction as well. Will say the staff is pleasant and doing there best stocking and rearranging products. Hopefully they will be done soon and we can finally figure out where things are!

We love Hannaford. We shop every week and stop once or twice to pick up things during the week. Staff very friendly and helpful. Overall we really like the store and feel they have everything we need.

Decent supermarket. Ready made food is good but getting pricier. I've opted out of ready made products recently. Staff is always helpful and knowledgeable especially with the remodel as they should be.

Store seemed clean. The three stars goes to the shelves that were empty of many products and the self check out staff member who was less than friendly. The bakery was well stocked with a lot to offer.

I like their fresh veggies & fruit! I think some prices are great. However I will never buy fresh seafood from them again!!!I used to love their lemon filled donuts. Bought too many over time and even though they were fabulous I had to switch to a different pastry product...

Everything is pricey everywhere these days, but the store is clean, has good selections, and the staff were especially helpful with a deal on steak tips.
