Man, this is one of those shops you walk into and just know you're getting quality. Friendly service, artisan merchandise and reasonable prices. I bought a new belt and the Beggar in Residence sized and cut it for me while I waited. Check this place out.

I traveled over 7 hours to this leather store to find the best leather wallet money could buy and guess what? I found here. It’s slim; it smells amazing; it is top quality. The store owners were also really friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable. It’s a great store! Definitely recommend.

Awesome little shop! They make many of the belts, wallets and handbags right in the store! As soon as you open the door,you are engulfed in the comforting scent of leather! The staff are friendly and accommodating. It's definitely worth a visit!

I've been visiting the north conway area for decades and while I've certainly noticed the shop I've never had a need to visit until today. My mass produced wallet had fallen apart, in need of a replacement I figured Beggars Pouch could fit the bill. The lady working (co-owner I believe) was incredibly helpful and the selection of men's wallets, along with other leather goods, was great. While I paid more for the replacement I have no doubt it will hold up and should there be an issue I have a place for repairs. Buy local. She gave my kids a great overview of some of the processes that go into leather crafting.

Just love there homemade leather bags. Great size, soft as butter leather. Worth every cent. Lasts like iron. They also sell other brands as well. I like there bags that are sewn by machine in their store. Also available are other leather goods like jackets, pants, belts etc. Stop in or browse online.

Great quality handmade good and resale items. Friendly owners. The place smells amazing with leather goods. They can even make you a custom belt on the spot, size you out and you pick the buckle. Nice leather jackets, accessories, wallets, etc.

I am (was) a repeat customer at the beggars pouch until today. I've had a custom belt made there and had a leather pistol holster repaired. My father needed a similar repair so we made the hour drive to North Conway to get it fixed. There was a lady behind the counter with short gray hair. We told her what we needed done and she said she couldn't help us because "...we make hand bags..." The gentleman who fixed my holster was right there on the other end of the store and I told her so, she just looked at me like I hadn't said anything. She took no initiative. I will never recommend this shop again.

Looked to spend lots of money at this shop but the "Masked Karen" threw us out because we choose not to participate in the COVID BS the town promotes. This shop must be doing very well in this PLANdemic because they choose to enforce unconstitutional mandates. Oh how UNAmerican. Remember "LIVE FREE or DIE" for some... :-( Maybe Liberty Leather will stand by their name... we'll see...
