I love this store however you couldn't maneuver aisles and all you could smell was cat urine. I understand you have to stock shelves I have done it in my past but you only need to bring out a bit at a time I could hardly get the cart down the aisle with all of the stuff.

This store can be a little messy And some of the isles are blocked sometimes with totes. But overall it's a good store with a good staff. And the most important thing, they are always open when they say they are going to be open. The only time they were shut down was during the pandemic which is understandable.. Compared to their counterparts in Sunapee, this store feels like a 1st class experience!

They just remodeled and it looks very nice inside the store now ! Prices are good , variety is good and the checkout line is usually small . Definitely recommend coming here for puppy treats 'cause they're the cheapest around and actually good brands/treats .

Im not sure what is going on with this store they were closed yesterday and today 5-17 and 5-18 the sign sometimes says closed for remodeling but yet the store always looks the same not good for business

Store's shelves are usually a mess, sometimes they're not. Most staff has no personality, and one kid that works there cannot do simple math to save his life! Can find good deals most of the time!

It's all right at best. Granite they have everything you could ever need there but when it comes to the staff you're lucky if you can find someone when you need them. Everytime I walk in there I think to myself I could literally walk out with everything I have and nobody would have even known I was in the store!!!

This store is ridiculous latley it’s constantly closed i just tried to go down says its opened online lights are on there are no signs stating there closed its 10 in the morning and the doors are locked why is this store closed constantly at random hours?

Never the same staff working, and most of the time it smells like sewage in the store. I frequently go as it does have most anything you could need. Lots of items ring up as different prices so always double check receipt. Along with items being mistagged or put in the wrong place- I've had numerous times where items would ring up differently than the tag on the shelf says and they wouldn't adjust pricing even though they're aware of the mistake. Check dates on food also, as many times products are not rotated

Clean well stocked D.t. With helpful staff and good variety there is ample parking and despite being a very busy store there are no, o-r rarely- any uncomfortably long waits to check out- this particular location is one of my two favorites (the Claremont n.h. one being the other) I really enjoy shopping here and have often found some newly released very popular items which I hadn't thought I'd be able to find: ie the little red truck Christmas items &earlier this year fall garlands-tea towels&napkins etc.

Nice prices on things you really need or can use it's a must go and see for yourself..You will enjoy it and rush to tell others the great deals on products that they payed twice as much for somewhere else..

Yes it usually has what we need. But always a mess. Always has the walk ways with carts full of merchandise that still needs to be stocked up and put away. Seems to be a concern at any dollar general you go too.

They've recently renovated and now have a much larger freezer foods section and new registers with a self checkout! Nice to see in this age of social distancing.

The girl Kaylee who works there is always so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable to the customers. She goes out of her way to be pleasant and is truly an asset to Dollar General of Newport.

The store was in shambles, dirty and unorganized. Coolers were broken and food in garbage bags in the isle. Staff was nice but obviously overwhelmed...very sad as this store is not that old.

I will say before this place was horrible because they never had enough employees and they hardly would wait on u when u were done shopping but now the place has def changed and there more aware of there customers and are always there when ur done shopping
