This pharmacy is understaffed and incredibly slow. I have not been able to acquire physician prescribed medications on a same day basis, and instead have had to wait several days, up to a week at times. Staff shortages can be unfortunate, but unavailable medical care is unacceptable. I would recommend avoiding this location.

i waited over 2 weeks for my medication when i was extremely sick i understand staffing problems i understand being overwhelmed and dealing with angry people because they want their medication faster but i feel like if they are having issues with getting medication filled it should be expressed to the people going to this pharmacy so they don’t have to wait for medication they absolutely need and can go somewhere else it was so awful suffering for weeks and i can’t imagine what other people had to deal with 😣

Been going here for about 20 years and I hate leaving negative reviews but hopefully it will get addressed. This review is about the Pharamcy only the store and its staff are fantastic. I have no issues with the store however , the pharmacy has crashed and burned. They use to be great, they had friendly staff who genuinely appeared to enjoy there jobs and be super helpful. Well let me tell you that's long gone! If your lucky you will get Domonic or Molly who are very personable and helpful. Most of the rest of my interactions have been not great. Lots of the help don't even act like they want to be there and we are annoying them. On top of the obvious help issues they are having , is the lack of keeping inventory (to be fair I'm not sure if this is due to all the supply chain B.S. or just a issue of someone not doing there job correctly) I constantly get prescriptions short filled because they are out or they just don't have it period and you have to wait. That's unacceptable when certain medications can be needed for several critical heath reasons. Regardless my hope is not to get anyone in trouble but to possibly bring some awareness to whomever in upper management that they need to do something asap! Again I want to stress that the store itself is great and the staff are also very nice and accommodating. Thank you

WORST PHARMACY! One woman who works around noon.light hair, glasses, has rolled her eyes at me, been short and snappy and today was just downright RUDE. She is TERRIBLE at customer service. Lee, Dover, Newington, Portsmouth ALL are fantastic. You guys need to get rid of her

Staff is always friendly to customers. The store is always clean. The shelves are pretty well stocked for a smaller Rite Aid store. Their weekly sales offer some great deals.

I've never had a problem with anyone at the pharmacy, or in the store. Curtisy goes a long way, be respectful to people, and they will react the same. I think Bill Wilson had a bad day before going into the store. Everyone can't be first, and you can't blame the pharmacy for everything that goes wrong.

Dear Sir or Madam,I first want to say I have enjoyed your store located at 73 Exeter Rd, in Newmarket, NH. I have always had great experiences with your staff and the availability of products. Unfortunately the need for this letter is not of praise, but rather a very unprofessional and unfortunate experience with your store manager Tim Colgan at this location. Recently, my sixteen year old son has been inquiring about employment at this location as he just moved to town. His first interaction was respectful and he submitted an application as requested. In addition to the application, he was asked to fill out the online survey which I am well aware of being an industry standard. Since I left this task up to him solely for the purpose of him experiencing adulthood, I played no part in this process. A few days later my son inquired again with Tim who was away on vacation. Upon returning, my son placed a call to Tim to discuss possible employment. In this instance my son was met with a very rude and condescending character on the other end. Tim stated: "I didn't like your answers on the survey, you're not hire-able". This statement was followed up with "good luck", and subsequently my son was hung up on. Seriously? in this day in age where customer service is the root of every successful company? I can handle the fact that he wasn't able to respond favorably on the survey- that is a life lesson he needs to learn, but the mere fact that a store manager can disrespect and belittle a teenager making a first real attempt at securing employment on his own? This type of appearance is representing the rite aid brand. As it may not matter to to a corporation of your magnitude, I will not return to this location and will continue to share my experience with family and friends. By no means is this a threat of any kind or a way of soliciting a response, it is purely for informative reasons as it may be astonishing to most that a child can be treated in such a manner.Respectfully,Michael B Hunter

There is a mistake everytime any customer attempts to get a prescription filled. If you enjoy inconveniences, such as the wrong meds, a disrepectful staff, the spreading of germs (one pharmacist actually sneezed into her hands before handing over my meds) Rite Aid has a policy to accept no responsibility, upcharge the customer, and only help wealthy people while middle or lower tax brackets are escorted from the property...try them out, Newmarket PD is just across the street or in the parking lot anyway. This place should be closed!!! It poses a serious threat to public health and personal safety.

Very good deals, with a knowledge staff. The rewards system is a bit convoluted, and I do not like that they share my information with other companies in order to receive the full benefits.
