Great little store! Very underappreciated locally as one of the most interesting historical stores in the Hillsborough area. I've been commuting to visit family from Manchester, and this store makes the perfect halfway stop off!

Interesting selection of items. Some local goods as well as the usual country convenience store fare. Strangely they also make samosas! The building has a historic feel that as evident as soon as you step in.

Appears the store has changed owners again. Not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. Time will tell. It has the basics but can be sold out of stuff (like bread and hot dog rolls). I’ve been to deli many times but under the old regime. At the end of the day it’s a very historic store (that we use to be able buy BBS from) that has beer, milk, snacks and eggs. You can grab a snack and sit outside watching small town NH go by.

Nice country store that has a little bit of everything including hot food. I only bought something to drink but if I had needed something else, I'm pretty sure they had it.

I hadn't been here in some time, but stopped in recently and ordered their veggie samosas for lunch -- and they are the best I have EVER had! And I order samosas everywhere I can. Fantastic motorcycle stop on gorgeous roads. Just be careful riding through, 'cause New Boston cops have no sense of humor. ;-)

This is one of the few places that I can buy Wicked ale. And it has an ATM and it's nearby and has a few other staples that if I'm not in a mood to go into Bedford I can buy here.

Stopped in for a sausage egg and cheese sandwich after not trying the store since it has changed owners. Got food poisoning about 6 hours later and was in massive pain and took over two days to recover. I also missed a day of work.Dirty place and is not taking care of any longer. DO NOT buy prepared food here or anything for that matter. Also staff is not friendly and I feel the store does not fit into the New Boston vibe.Stay away and go up to Lanctots if you need local groceries in a pinch!

My friend and I came in here for food. The sub I got was only lukewarm. My friend ordered 4 chicken tenders and was only given 2 full size tenders and the rest was little pieces and they did not say they were low on chicken tenders or offer her anything as a replacement for the 2 missing tenders. We did not realize until we were back home and she opened the box. Only thing good were the fries. Do yourself a favor and go to the other local sub shop.

We were visiting the area and stopped in to get a few small things along our journey. What I do like about the store is the originality of everything. The floor to the ceiling is a blast from the past. Unfortunately they didn't seem to keep most of it clean. The store was visibly dirty and things piled up instead of out on shelves. They had a deli area but again it was so messy in front of the counter that I'm not even sure if the deli was actually open. There were many empty spaces on shelves and product not moved forward or faced properly. The staff wasn't really talkative so we just got what we needed and left. It was fine for what we needed but I'm glad this isnt a store that I need to frequent often.

Got a beautiful Christmas tree here, no one outside, on the little shack there was a message about the honor system for paying for the tree’s. I had no cash, wasn’t going to leave a CC# , could have wrote an IOU…lol. Notice the Hardware store was open, went into ask if I could pay for the tree in there…the employee says, well that’s how it’s done! Very rudely! Honestly if I didn’t need a tree, I would have left. Be KIND! I didn’t need or want his sarcasm! Will more than likely look elsewhere next year. I’m sure there are lots of places that would have been more than happy to take my money!

The history of this place is amazing. It’s such a blast from the past coming in here. To see the old sugar cube bins is ny favorite. They have all kinds of teas, sodas, energy drinks! There isn’t a snack I wanted that i didn’t find here. They also have fresh backed goods! And they are so delicious!

Beer is old, deli/grill are lacking adequate amounts of food between the buns. Nothing is priced, boxes of empty product always on the floor, messy and over priced.

Great very small town lots-of-things general store. The place itself is small but manages to carry enough to cover the bases. This includes most excellent made to order sandwiches, both hot and cold. One can buy a newspaper or a lotto ticket too.

I have been coming to this store since February of 2015. Their subs/ sandwiches are okay. My favorites are between the Fire House Sub (Buffalo Chicken - Even great cold if saved) and the Dodge Deli Special. As for their breakfast sandwiches, they are good too.

This is a family run convenience store. A country store would be a better description. From ☕to beer 🍺. They also prepare foods to go and eat outdoor. Groceries available but don't expect prices compared to Market Basket.

I got addicted to Dodge's when I was visiting my mother in law this summer. The people are wonderful, the food is fresh and delicious, and the store is well stocked. Lots of happy memories for my husband, who spent a good chunk of his childhood here!

Interesting town store. We stopped in for sandwiches and there was a group before us that kept us waiting 25. Minuets. After the wait he still got my order wrong. Food was good for a towny experience. Short staffed.

Don’t let this place fool you with the “Best steak and cheese in New Hampshire”. It was not cooked at all and everything was extremely cold. For 9$ I expect a hot steak and cheese not a cold one.

Good convenience store. This place is pretty historic actually. There's an old ballroom above it and everything. Has the Basic Essentials a gas station convenience store would have. They used to also make pizza and sub not sure if they still do.

I love Dodge's store. I have lived here all my life. Quality and service have wavered a little bit but for the most part it is a very serviceable store. A great place to hang out on the porch and watch the wierdos go by. The older gentleman, ( I don't know his name, he is thin, wears an baseball hat, and has a ponytail) He needs an attitude adjustment. He seems extremely unhappy, sometimes downright rude. I try very hard to be kind and engaging to everyone who crosses my path, he makes it very hard. He mumbles, get's frustrated, visibly, if I don't order my sandwich quickly. He makes me not want to be there when he's there. Life is hard, I don't' need that when I just want to treat myself to a sandwich. Please help him.

I have lived in New Boston almost all my life and I must say that Dodge' Store is the BEST country store in the state. They almost always have a good stock of snacks, candy, drinks and more as compared to other general stores in the Hillsborough County area. Extremely friendly staff and apparently a hot hang out spot for the older folks in town early in the morning, Dodge's Store has been the focal of the town for years. Limited parking doesn't stop any visitor, however. With parking at the town hall, Dodge's is sometimes packed full of townees or passer's by.

Honest opinion...this store is by far the best country store there is. They have everything you need, their food is amazing, the building fits in perfectly with New Boston's rustic village and the owners and staff are the nicest people you'll ever meet. This store is a blessing!

We got breakfast sandwiches this morning. Our first time since the store changed hands. They were unusually large and heavy with a lot of egg. We started eating and discovered that the whole center of the egg was light green and had a weird texture. I couldn't eat it. Both sandwiches were like that, one croissant and one english muffin.

Dodge’s Store provides a great service to the town of New Boston. The Patel’s have done an excellent job in both providing the “essentials” ( milk, bread) as well as improving the deli menu, great wine and beer selections, even providing a number of locally produced frozen dinners . Steve Whipple always offers his friendly banter, keeping the atmosphere what you would hope for: relaxed, welcoming and there for you when you need them.

If you go when the older gentleman isnt working its 5 stars all the time. This guy walks around is rude to women customers and the women workers. I just witnessed him yell at the older lady behind the counter. No need for that. She asked one simple question. I have seen it more then once and opted not to post. He is a very rude person and doesnt belong there. Will scare away customers.
