RO water is riddled with phosphates. Phosphate levels were obscenely high after using this water and a couple of my coral got brown jelly! Very disappointing. With that said, the staff were wonderful.

RO water is trash toilet water. Full of phosphates and has killed my corals. My phosphate levels were astronomically out of range while using this water. Will NEVER use petco water EVER again. Would rather put pond water in my saltwater tank. Their tanks in store looked good though, maybe they use different water

My dog had a grooming appointment today and the ladies looked at him and said well we can try to groom him, but we might not be able to complete him. Keeping this in mind my dog is seven months old. She also stated at one point that I should probably bring him to a private groomer, where he can be sedated. Again, my dog is seven months old. He is a puppy. He gets excited. I took it as they did not wanna groom him and left. I am not sedating my seven month old dog there’s no need for it. He’s a baby. I ended up bringing him to pet supplies plus and they did a phenomenal job. We will definitely be going back there. If I could give Petco a zero*I would. Pet supplies plus told me he was very well behaved and did not give them any trouble so Petco you lost a very well paying customer.

The employees are all super nice and knowledgeable. The groomers are amazing! My dog just finished up with Ana and another woman (I didn't catch her name). They were so friendly, gave my puppy so much love, and he looks SO handsome after his appointment 😊

Michael is SUCH an exceptional person who has gone above and beyond my expectations each and every time I have had the opportunity of having him as my pup's groomer .. I cannot say ENOUGH about how wonderful of a human he is !🤗

A lot of there products are not priced or not priced properly.. this has been a problem for several years now. They always say there updating the shelves, but it's the same story each and every time I go there, maybe 2 times a year!Common management, get it together!

The staff member in the aquatics section was extremely helpful in finding a fish that I was looking for. Spent a good 20 minutes looking through the tank since he recalled seeing one the other day. Found it hiding and was able to get it. Above and beyond

my boyfriend and i bring our puppy here to get groomed by danyelle and she is always so good with her!!! she’s the happiest puppy when we come to pick her up and she always smells so good. not to mention they give her the cutest bandanas. i recommend danyelle if you’re looking for someone who is gonna treat your pet like their own

They have the best quality fish for a big box store I have ever seen.Fish in every tank looked very healthy and they have a fairly impressive selection.

I’m very disappointed and frustrated with how VETCO treated my dog today. I made an appointment for 3:35pm today and came in 10 min early like they asked and filed my dogs paperwork online before going to make the process quicker. There was a huge line for the vet when we got there and we were first greeted by another customer in line saying my dog was scary because I have a 1 year old pitbull(who’s actually one of the friendliest dogs I have ever met). The vet lady went down the line checking everyone in and then said she would come back to us because it was his first time there and then checked in everyone else and let them get their vaccines first and took us last. None of the vets even cared to acknowledge my dog but were giving rubs and treats to other dogs in front of mine. We didn’t get his one vaccine until 4pm. I have never felt so bad for my dog. Super rude!

If I could leave a negative star or 5 million i would!!! I have never in my life dealt with the worst customer service in my life. I returned something and the cashier didn't even do the return. Then I call and speak to a manager Sarah whom had everything in order for me to handle the issue. She wasn't there and Frank who SHOULD NOT be a manager told me I was yelling at him when i was with my 2.5 year old son trying to get a refund that was due to me. He then said to me that I was not allowed in the store anymore and i was trying to scam petco out of mealworms. Like really bro get real!!! I used to work at petco and would never have treated a customer like you treated me and my son today.Let alone they had a bearded dragon that was 3 feet long in a 10 gallon tank and felt that was ok. VERY IN HUMANE and this petco should be closed immediately as all the animals there are in danger!Then i try to record the interaction and he tells me i can't. That is against the law and I can record where ever I am in the public. I was so in fear for my safety at that store I called 911 as he threatened to call on me. So unprofessional!!!!I HIGHLY recommend staying away from this petco!!!! BEWAREThe manager Eric agreed that the employee messed up and didn't refund me but yet Im still wrong.If this is how they treat their customers I can't imagine how they treat their pets! Very Sad

Whoever is in charge of the reptile care at this Petco deserves a raise! Reptiles/arachnids are commonly neglected in chain pet stores, so it’s great to see proper husbandry like this. I noticed it when I was there for the Vetco clinic with my dog, which I also highly recommend. My dog is very nervous, and they do amazing with her every time.

It is dirty, not well organized and needs updating. If I were the owners I would spend time overhauling the store and making it look and resemble the type of brand you are expecting and want

We recently went to petco to get our dog groomed. Just a shower, and he came back out with a cut on one of his legs! The groomer did not inform us about this and instead lied to us that everything went well. We did not notice until we got home, and when we called Petco to tell them they said there is nothing they can do because “they are not a vet”. So we spoke to a regional manager and eventually got them to pay for the the vet fee and never heard from them again. We used to go here for all our pets needs from fish to dog, but due to the clear lack of concern we will not be returning back to this Petco!

I had called to make arrangements for get my dog groomed on the day my dog was supposed to go. I had a woman who worked at grooming place talk about my dog she gets little nervous. Lady acted like this was going to be a big deal she went on and on I couldn’t get a word in so i finally told her just forget it. I found fancytails in Dracut mass I explain the same thing to Joanne and she said don’t worry it’s not going to be a problem. I took my dog explained again to Joanne just to make sure, and again Joanne was no problem in this was at fancytails in Dracut mass. She was able to do everything that I wanted done on my dog with no problem the lady from Petco you lost out. Do you know if you don’t like working with animals maybe you shouldn’t! I was a little bummed out that they couldn't groom ✂️ him because she said he was too rambunctious and wanted to play plus they're not professional groomers which I'd be upset if they messed him up...so he got a bath which he loves being pampered lol but next time I'll give him a bath myself because he smells a lot better with the special shih tzu shampoo I use. It cost $48 he looked really clean he just didn't smell as good as Mama makes him smell lol 😆

Look at my cutie. She has had some very bad experiences with groomers and literally shakes when I brought her in yesterday but they did an amazing job they had so much patience with her and listened to everything I said. We will be back in 8weeks and I'm confident she will grow to love being groomed by these amazing people.

Ryan helped us get everything we needed for our new adopted Puppy! He suggested a coupon book for extra savings, helped us find every single thing we wanted, and checked us out personally so he could make sure we got all our discounts. Place was not very clean. Groomer was less than friendly.She was on her phone, no customer or client and appeared like we were a nuisance who dared to bother her with a request for information on scheduling and appt. Decided to go Pet Smart. Got great and friendly service there!Pet Smart now will be our place to go for my fur baby's future grooming and pet care.

After a disappointing groom with another business we made an appointment for our puppy. What a wonderful experience. Ana is amazing and will hopefully be our go to groomer for a long time! She listened to what we wanted, explained everything and was so good with our puppy. Mazie had the best time and came home looking and smelling like a million bucks! Yay Ana!!

Fish selection was terrible and about half died within a few hours of purchase (tank is a cycled and well established setup with other happy fish in it, so it's not me). Staff was great but the store itself wasn't.
