We spent 2 wonderful weeks in cabin 5 last year. My wife and I watched the season change from green to the brilliant colors of fall. We had the most relaxing vacation enjoying all the Lakes Region had to offer.We are hopeful to return again this fall for another memory making retreat from the hectic world.

Extremely cute cabin and the view is just the most incredible thing you’ll ever see. I’m a big sunset and sunrise lover so for me, this was heaven. There are 5 different cabins. I stayed in cabin #5. There is no tv, which i didn’t know beforehand however it made the experience that much better and more relaxing. The fireplace was perfect, kept me warm all night since it is very cold in the winter. They do have a large pile of wood for the fire that the manager, Butch, said that you may use as much as you’d like! He was very kind, laid back. It is pet friendly which was a huge plus. But BIG tip: Make sure your dog knows what ice is, because the water was frozen… my dog did not know and i basically had a heart attack trying to get him off the ice. Just a tip. Besides that not a single issue. So calming. Definitely will be back soon!

I would like to start of by saying Sunset Lodge is a beautiful and serene location with old school, rustic, cabin charms of yester year! Our stay was at the beginning of January, rainy but delightful. Butch the manager was extremely helpful and we shared a few laughs! He even told us great places to dine nearby. Would highly recommend staying here!

Incredible place...My Favorite Place in the World!! Have been going there for years and years. My kids grew up going there and now my Grandsons (now 12 and 14) can't wait to get there. We have made lifelong friends and the kids that go every year our same week have grown up together! The owners and managers are great people that really care about the place and their guests. Don't Miss Out...You Will Love It!!

For what it is, I give it five stars. It is a classic place with lots of great attributes. There is a volleyball court and ping pong ball tables and corn hole and swings and... There is a really cool pavilion with a fireplace and grill. The cabins are old and comfortable. The one we had was equipped with a fireplace and a screen porch.

Sunset was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet, comfortable, scenic, friendly lakeside cabin. A "modern classic" - great for anyone looking for a romantic getaway or place for friends and family to get away. The owners and managers have a true love for the place. WiFi access a big plus as well as pet friendly.

Our recent stay at Sunset Lodges was entirely too short - two nights was not enough of a getaway! We stayed in Cabin 5, which was perfect for us - cozy and practical. The fireplace with unlimited firewood was the best feature - a fabulous way to end both nights, curled up on the sofa. The kitchen has all your basic needs for silverware, pots and pans though it's quite compact! The cabin is situated on "The Basin", a small inlet of Lake Winnipesaukee with your own personal dock for fishing (or boating). Lovely sunrise view from the kitchen table. We couldn't really use the screened in porch due to the weather but I could see how that would be fantastic in the summer. Definitely check out Wolfeboro if you need to venture into town - whether for the hardware store, groceries, the local pub, a craft beer store, restaurants, and/or shopping. Close to the cabin you can also find some nice walking trails or go for a run around the quiet back roads. Hope to be back soon!

We booked the cabin 5 in April and it was awesome. It is such the perfect place to relax and enjoy the view, the lake, the calm.We had a great experience there and the kids loved it!Highly recommended

Everything about this place was fantastic.inside and outside..the view was fabulous..we enjoyed every aminity there.Boating around the lake was nice experience.. unlimited fire wood was great..kids enjoyed the beach, play area and volleyball court.We will definitely go back.

Loved it! There are a few heated cabins that are super cozy in the winter. All the amenities are great, and the location couldn't be better.
