We decided to take a short drive and it led us to this gem, off of the highway and around a few bends.Upon entering, we met the man sitting on the porch, waiting for the weather to get better ☺️ The hot chocolate is amazing. My friend and I spilt a burger and kettle chips. It was a really nice tear to have such a simple burger taste really good. Pickles and tomatoes were fresh. At the end, I noticed a huge No Bake Cookie! I had to buy one. Not disappointed!If you're in the lakes region for skiing or outside adventure in any season, stop in and see Amy! Her and her husband have made this a VERY cozy place to be☺️☺️

I have nothing but great things to say about Ira millers! This is the cute, old home town, environment you want to be a part of. This family owned joint is out of this world with rich charm, great fresh homemade food, grocery, penny candy, apothecary, and so much more. You have to see for yourself but when you do, make sure to sit down and stay for a bite and chat with the staff/ they are so welcoming. This is a regular spot that is so under rated!

We were able to join them for their private dinner on Saturday night. The atmosphere was great! The service was wonderful. Chef Christine created A four course meal that was very pleasing . I highly recommend finding out the next time they do their private meal. I hear their daytime food is great too. Definitely worth the ride off the main roads to stop at this little gem in Milton Mills.

Ira Miller’s General Store was beautifully restored and is now a fully-functioning eatery, gift store, produce seller, and—like its name says—general store! The food is homemade and delicious, they have a wide selection of goods to purchase (including penny candy—not too common anymore), the staff are friendly, and it is locally owned. Check it out and grab a bite to eat; I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

This one of those places that I would call an Anthony Bourdain experience. Great food and great atmosphere in Milton. Stopped in for a breakfast, and ordered Jenny's french toast only to be made by Jenny herself. Hands down the best french toast this side of the White Mtns. I'll definitely be back to checkout the lunch menu.

If you think community, you think kindness, you think care, you think of this store and it’s employees. We moved to Milton Mills a week ago having bought our first home and everyone in the store has been kind and welcoming. They have amazing quality of prepared meals and a great assortment of everything. To the reviewer who hit them for not wearing masks, you’re ridiculous, sorry I had to say it. They distance and they have plexi-glass up in places where it matters, and they’re ALWAYS cleaning. Don’t dump on a local family owned business just because of something that doesn’t make sense to you without actually realizing what’s happening. Ignore those reviews. Look at them for what and who they are. We love this store!!

It’s what a country store should be. Great homemade soups and sandwiches, a nice and small selection of drinks that’s not overwhelming. They have all your basic needs. Even some art pieces from the locals. And it is run by the most friendly and heartwarming people. I always feel so welcomed as I step inside.

The owners make me feel like I am a townie. Love this place. It's a hidden NH gem. They even have a breakfast/lunch counter. Also cold brew coffee and a sparkling kambucha on tap.

Ordered a Egg and Cheese on Sourdough. It was worth the stop. Very tastie. Store was fun to look at the mix of dry goods they had. Bought 1LB of Coffee that was Haitian Beans. Glad i stopped and grabbed a morning sanwich.

I live for the chance to stop by and get a breakfast sandwich on a croissant with a kombucha or cold brew coffee from the keg tap. All the meats are top quality. They have jewelry and herbs breads and vegetables too. Its a old fashioned store completely remodeled and they habe rocking chairs out front for you to relax on. Stop by and check it out when you are in the area.

Ira Miller 's General Store in Milton Mills, New Hampshire is a stroll down Memory Lane! We have been there several times. Whether it is sitting at the old fashioned lunch counter for one of the lunch specials , or taking a homemade baked good and sitting on one of the front porch rocking chairs, Ira Miller 's is sure to please. I love the child friendly offerings, as well as the New England specialities like Maple Syrup.

I feel fortunate to live just five miles from Ira Miller's. We were there on July 4th foe their grand opening and we fell in love with this little general store. Have been back since for (incredible) sandwiches, and hope that the store and ita friendly staff are in business for a long, long time

A hidden gem - so glad to see the signs go up at the end of Applebee Rd. If you haven’t stopped in for a visit you don’t know what you’re missing. Breakfast and lunch sandwiches are out of this world. Thanks for all you’ve done for The Mills.

I’d give this place 5 stars but the folks inside haven’t been wearing masks the past few times I’ve stopped in. I hope they know my mask protects them and them not wearing one signals they aren’t protecting me, the customer. They have put a lot of care into all aspects of this place, I hope they’ll consider returning to regular mask wearing until a vaccine comes around especially with so many out-of-towners coming through. 🇺🇸 💪
