I am shocked! Let me begin by stating that I on a normal day utilize Penguin Mart often, and I have never had any problems there.Today I'm making this review because I am shocked.As on normal days I came in to get gas, the attendant was very friendly and took care of my purchase quickly. What I observed at this store, I have never seen in my entire life. The man whom I understand to be the owner; Was yelling at a customer and throwing money at them I am not sure what I just saw but that is unfortunate. I am not sure if I will be back. I hope they get help they seem different. It really pains me to write this review because I love their prices and I have always had a good experience there. Do better. Without happy customers and happy help you're nothing.

This place is a rip off and only somewhere to shop as a last resort. As a comparative my cigs are normally $65 per carton. Roughly 6.50 maybe a little more cause you always pay more per pack. For two packs they charged me 17.98. If it was a carton that equates to $178.00 per carton. Almost 3x what it costs at the gas station a block away. I rarely ever stop here and now I remember why....I don't know what has happened but, you will notice all their high end reviews are from 2 years ago or longer. Avoid this place till they get their act together.

I was in there today for fuel and lunch. It wasn't too busy there was no one at the counter and I saw the guys sitting out back. Waited for him to come out to get some chicken tenders. Saw him walk in and get the Tong's for the chicken didn't wash his hands. Since he didn't actually touch any of my food I took it but I told the guy at the counter about him. I left and started eating my chicken it was so dry I threw it out the window. I will never go to this place again. Gross

The normal guy, I believe is the owner IS GREAT 5 stars for him.. I went during the day on a quick break. The lady was wicked rude when i didn't want to give her the change so she could give me a 5 instead of 4 ones. She asked if I had the change and I said yes, but I want the ones. She persisted and I finally said NO I SAID already, I need the ones for the vending machine at work cuz i cant leave again.. She gave me an attitude and said well IM A CASHIER and I value my ones.... It was a week day before noon CALL YOUR BOSS TO GET YOU ENOUGH CHANGE so you dont have to be rude to customers. Its not like it was a Saturday or Sunday night when she couldn't get money...On a positive note the parking lot has new asphalt, cheap gas and USUALLY excellent customer service

The Penguin Mart is a pretty cool convenience store. Typical stuff, plus they have hot sandwiches. I wouldn't call it a deli, more like chicken sandwiches, fries and burgers. If you're looking for something quick and you happen to be driving by, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the food isn't bad.

Gas with an attitude. No squeegees, paper towels or basic safety provisions at this gas station. And they’re very rude when you ask about using the restroom after spending $85 on gas the answer is still no. Go down the street to shell- much nicer.

Great breakfast sandwiches. Decent coffee. Beers and cigarettes and premade sandwiches (that are actually good)... and so much more. Everything you can ever hope for from a gas station stop.

I used to get my lunch here almost regularly. Staff went downhill FAST! I saw the "kid" working behind the deli on multiple occasions start "helping" customers wearing the same gloves after coming from the bathroom or washing dishes. GROSS!!!! He is also extremely rude. If he doesn't like his job, or people for that matter he should quit.

This is the first time I've encountered a gas station that does not accept a debit card for the cash price. They treat a debit card purchase the same as a credit card purchase. Only paying with cash avails you the discounted cash price per gallon for gas.

Thankful that they are pretty much the only convenience store/gas stion in the area of Milford and Wilton that are still 24hrs. Every other store had now cut their hours and close early instead of being open 24hrs.

Good place to get cheaper gas. if you are paying in cash. Their prices on merchandise inside is ridiculous though. I went to buy a quart of oil and it was nearly 13 dollars for some thing you could go anywhere else and buy it for under 6 dollars.

Has consistently gone down hill since becoming peguin mart. Much better as silva mart. Bathrooms barely work. Staff gets less friendly. I've given up getting sandwiches from their deli.

My car broke down and had to pull in every person here is great very helpful as well as the garage next door that they own the owner was here on a Sunday at 730 at night helping me an im very thankful for every one here
