This location was awesome - there was a renovation and I hope it’s the future of Petco because it was very clean with a lot of variety. They have a self cleaning station that was innovative and impressive that I hope they rollout to other locations. Casey at grooming was awesome and even at checkout Adrian was polite and extremely helpful. Great job and really appreciated the extra effort!

I came in a few weeks ago because we started having a quality issue with the wet food we were ordering and feeding our cats. I asked the employee working in the cat food area a question (he had a unique name that started with K), and he recommended a totally different food. We switched, our cats love it, and we love it, too! I really appreciate his help and kitty knowledge. Thank you, "K"!!!

I dropped my pup off a little before his scheduled appointment (10:30) didn’t get him back until almost 4. I know it usually takes about three hours but this was not what I was expecting. Our groomer who has done him on a few occasions now I thought was knowledgeable of how I want him to look. The last visit she nailed it, everything about his cut was absolutely perfect. Not so much this time she went back to making his facial area too boxy and his top was too much like a poodle. She said she was unable to trim his ears as good as last time because he was getting ancy , well he had been there for almost five and a half hours and probably need to releave himself

I came in New years Day close to their closing time. The employees were all super friendly, pleasant to talk to and knowledgable. Animals were very well cared for. Also I found their prices to be cheaper then other places. At least on what I was looking for. Great Sale prices on the glass aquariums. Highly reccomend.

If you want an amazing groomer for your dog call Shelby! It’s hard to find a groomer that can cut my goldendoodle and she did an awesome job. Even braided her hair for me. Harper was so excited to show off her new haircut to everyone here are before and after pictures

There are no associates on the floor to assist customers, and the cashier didn't even ask if everything was found ok. Of course, I had to go to another pet store to get what was needed.

Absolutely insane prices for everything. Very limited bunny supplies. Who can afford to shop here when you can get the exact same brand items on Amazon for half the price? Nice employees though.

Hello me and my dad went into your establishment to purchase fish. We had feeder fish, and associate told us that we had to listen to her point of view she denied us sale because we had feeder fish whose purpose is to feed other fish, which is why they are cold feeder fish also to clean the tank of debris in the process as well, my dad wanted to purchase a couple sharks because all we have our feeder fish to prove that the fish tank was safe for future fish. This associate with me and my dad did not get the name of was completely rude, And denied our purchase because she wouldn’t do that to her fish. It does not specify in any contracts of the company to deny someone’s purchase, because an associate doesn’t feel right of something that minor. She does not belong in that type of business. Power trip 100%. On a sidenote, I thought employees are supposed to .constantly walk them on the store to make sure everything is in place correct in that every customers being attend it to. But nop she had a mini social hour with a another associate to what I believe was happening look to associates in the back of the store, having a social hour with customers looking for assistance to purchase fish or etc. also she kept on escalating and tell him my dad how horrible it made her feel to sell fish that could be a little rough with the other fish or even possibly eat the other fish, but the thing was the sharks weren’t even that big compared to my dads feeder fish. Absolutely no professionalism.

I'm heart broken at what I saw today.I am most familiar with reptile care, so I don't feel like I can comment on the rodent/mammal care, but the reptile care at this store absolutely broke my heart.There was this absolutely beautiful leopard gecko in the store who looked to be in VERY poor condition. All of those light patches? Stuck shed. For the unaware, Stuck shed is very dangerous and can hurt reptiles if left for long. They looked nearly lifeless, they looked so sad. I would've gladly taken this poor thing home if I had an extra heating pad. A asked a worker and they took her out, to (hopefully) help her, but the fact she was like that to begin with was appalling.There was also a baby fat tail gecko who not only had Stuck shed on their head, but they look like they have medobolic bone disease. If you don't know, that's basically when the bones of the legs start curving inwards, which can be compared to knocked knees in humans.The only reason this place is getting 2 stars is because the snakes seemed to not have any mites or Stuck shed. This is so upsetting as a reptile owner.

The grooming department is in desperate need of management and customer service skills.I only go there for a SELF WASH, and I am met every single time with severe attitude by multiple groomers.Ive also seen them interact with other customers in the same manner.immediate attitude, yelling, swearing, denying service(for no good reason) is not professional.I will be taking my business elsewhere

Very helpful staff! Love that each one I've spoken with has a pet. Reasonable prices. Love the clearance section. I also was very pleased at how fast and easy it was to make my own Pets Name Tag. Definitely returning 😊

Bad communication. Self dog wash closes 5pm. Store associate told me 8pm I drove here 45mins for the self dog wash. For them to just tell me it's closed. Waste of time

I showed up 10 min early for my 3pm appointment (on time) and they made me wait 20 min to check him in! What is the point and purpose of making appointments if they make you wait for 20 min just to check in! Also the service was garbage the girl in orange hair said she had 2 more dogs to do before getting to my dog. When i went to pick up my dog he was still WET AND SHE DIDNT EVEN SHAVE HIS NAILS WHEN I ASK Her. The nails were NOT PROPERLY CLIPPED! The grooming was poorly done he has so much dandruff and his fur still looks oily. Nails also look long. I'm very disappointed and i had to pay 85 dollars for a bad service! ALSO when she called for my dog to be picked up she complained on the phone about my dogs behavior saying " he's Roweling up the other dogs" in a way saying my dog was difficult for her to handle . Never again am i going here!

I was initially created and asked if I needed help finding anything.(I didn’t) then one of the employees saw me struggling to hold my newborn and lift dog food into the cart so he grabbed the bag and put it in my cart for me I was super grateful. The women at the register was also very helpful and scanned the dog food in the cart so I again didn’t have to life it with a baby in my arms! Made my shopping trip so much easier! Thank you guys!

On 10/22, I purchased a betta that had been there since 8/30. He’s almost dead and I don’t know if he will live. There was a dead one on the shelf however you had almost 100 new bettas on display. Take care of the ones that have been on the shelf for almost 2 months. Give them away if someone wants to try and save them instead of 25% off. I ended up getting 75% off because even the Petco employees don’t think he will make it but even that is too much. I don’t think (actually I know) I can’t shop there anymore. It tears at my heart. Do better Petco!

The store is fine but the grooming department is a nightmare. Took my dog 4 separate times and there was an issue every single time. I’m not one to complain but every interaction I had here was just ridiculous. I booked an appointment with a certain stylist (Shelby) and I came a bit early to see if my dog was ready to go and I see the stylist (sammi) that I used for the first appointment and did not like doing my dogs cut (the first cut she did wasn’t good). I was informed Shelby would be doing the cut as I had booked with her but no they had their new stylist (sammi) that I brought my dog to previously and didn’t like the cut she did, doing it. They didn’t call me and ask if they could switch stylists. The cut that the new stylist (sammi) did was uneven and not what I asked for. They’re all unprofessional and rude. Definitely don’t recommend the Manchester location. Petcos hooksett location is about 10 minutes from their Manchester location and it is definitely worth the drive.

I booked an appointment on June 25th to have my dog groomed 07/30/23 at 1pm. There was a problem with a duplicate account and multiple bookings so I called multiple times through the week to confirm my appointment WAS in fact for the above date. At 11:47 on 07/30 I receive a text asking how much my dog weighed as the groomer I was scheduled with, Shelby, had a back injury and could not handle large dogs. I responded at 11:48 with his weight. It was not until 12:57 that she responded letting me know he was too big and she would be canceling the appointment. I did not see the text as I was walking into the building at this time, and when I walked up to the counter she was extremely rude and confrontational. I explained that rescheduling the appointment did not work for me as I will be taking my dog camping on Tuesday 08/01, and I work until 4:30 on Monday. She never once apologized for not informing me of her situation until 3 minutes before the scheduled appointment. The store manager at the time, Carissa, did her best at accommodating the situation; she even offered to lift my dog in and out of the bath/on and off the grooming table but Shelby refused to be flexible. I asked why I was not informed sooner to which Shelby responded that she was out the day before- I followed up that question with asking if that is when she injured herself and she told me the injury occurred a month ago. After that she refused to speak to me further and walked away after informing me she “did not like my tone”- I did not yell or cuss at her a single time, just expressed my disappointment as they had ample time to make me aware beforehand- Very unacceptable she literally had an entire month to let me know and give me the opportunity to reschedule. If you are considering bringing your pet here, don’t. Please go to one of the many other Petco locations in the area- the ladies in Concord are wonderful.Just to put the cherry on top, Shelby went in and manually locked my account so I cannot book future grooming appointments online. I was considering bringing my dog back to Concord as the ladies there were great, but her blocking my account access has solidified that I will never be returning.

I have been going to this Petco ever since I got my cat, Mabel, in the fall of 2020! Mabel is a special needs cat that has a hard time accessing very high places due to a paw deformity. I spoke with Christa, who is one of their staff members, and she was able to help me find the best choice which was something a little lower to the ground. Here she is enjoying her new cat tree! Thank you, Christa!

3/2023 - we are still very happy with Holly, their trainer.Inventory continues to be an issue. If not the food, then the treats.Over the last few months, we have noticed LOTS of dried pet urine around the aisle to the grooming, as well as the middle aisle (other aisles as well, but these 2 main aisles are the worst). With cleaning stations throughout the store, it's a shame that people cannot wipe up after their pets. That being said, the ultimate responsibility belongs to the store itself, to maintain clean floors. I'm not saying clerks should be mopping - but that there should be a nightly cleaning crew. I've gone in first thing in the morning, and floors have been bad - so either the cleaning crew does a bad job, or is simply non-existent. This is not an area where management should cut expenses.2022 - We are thrilled with the trainer, Holly!! Also, staff we have encountered have been friendly & helpful. The store is clean, and the groomer(s) seems busy whenever we are in.We're not so thrilled with inventory - they are frequently out of stock for things we are looking for, and their "next day delivery" is a joke. It took 3 days for food to arrive (longer for the previous order), and 4 days for the crate.

My son and nephew loved looking at all the fish and other animals in here! My mom bought mealworms for her leopard geckos and half thr container was dead which is the only reason for the 4 stars.
