Lisa has been our dogs groomer for over 30 years she has taken care of our cocker spaniels over those years Bennie who lived to 15. Nickie who lived to 16 years and now our two new cockers PJ and Pepper. We have also used her for boarding. Lisa, Megan and Olivia are the best. As for as I’m concerned you are very lucky if Lisa agrees to pick you as a customer. Anytime we leave our dogs there they are so happy and they are always groomed to perfection.Thank you Paws and Claws team for caring for our pets over the years ❤️John and Linda

Lisa Cote, owner and operator of Claws-N-Paws, has been my dog groomer for over 20-years—First, with my Westie (West Highland White Terrier), Monty, then with my Shihtsu/Chow mix, Ayden. Both of my pups have always been jump-up-and-down excited about going to Lisa’s. Prancing into the shop looking like eager little Wooly-Bullies, they can’t wait to socialize and play with Lisa’s usual clients and day care dogs!Once Ayden and Monty have had their ears cleaned, nails trimmed; fur washed, cut, styled, and spritzed; and a colorful seasonal bandana affixed like a perky gift bow around their necks, these two seem to know just how wonderful they look and smell. They’ll proudly strut their stuff as they’re led out of the shop, across the driveway, and into their chauffeured vehicle (namely, my SUV). They know when they arrive back home that they’ll be showered with attention because of their themed bandanas and great new looks!As a former vet-tech, Lisa has always been candid and up front with me about any unusual behavior issues, rashes, lesions, bumps, or painful areas that my dogs are experiencing. I’ve learned to trust her implicitly when she suggests a particular product, an at home remedy—especially for treating skunked puppers, or recommends a vet visit. Both of my dogs benefited greatly from her expertise when one was later diagnosed by our vet with recurring melanoma and the other with a thyroid and kidney condition.Claws-N-Paws provides standard grooming services for cats and dogs in a clean, friendly, and relaxed atmosphere. Grooming and daycare rates are very reasonable—much less than many other mobile or larger-facility groomers and daycare providers. Early morning drop-off is between 8-9 with pick-ups from 12:30-2 for grooming services. Large outdoor kennels are set up to shelter and socialize similarly-sized dogs. Aggressive dogs are separated from the rest of the pack.Lisa is a hard-worker who is very experienced in handling difficult dogs, such as those with temperamental and/or behavioral issues, police K-9’s, and service dogs. She and her small staff are THE best in their field and I wouldn’t trust my pets to anyone else.

Worst experience I ever had with a dog groomer I asked for a simple trim for my Havapoo and the owner of claws and paws completely shaved my dogs hair completely off. When I called for a refund mind you it is winter season my dogs breed are not supposed to be in cold weather lower than 25F she responded very unprofessional and erratic stated to take better care of MY DOG!!!! That she made her own decision on shaving my dog without consulting with owners about matted fur first and hung up the phone on me. Very entitled and rude!!!! Which I was in complete shock I’ve never dealt with a business that handles customers service in this way,So I went to location with my dog to get a refund personally and she refused to refund my money and stated behind the gate that she called the police already which is weird I never verbally threatened her or posed any harm to her I simply wanted a refund so this definitely isn’t her first time dealing with a unsatisfied customer so I called police also on my phone and waited until they arrived to make a report.Nothing was resolved police said to take matters upon myself in civil court since animal wasn’t physically assaulted which I will! I will never bring my Dog where groomers take matters in there own hands before consulting with OWNERS!!! I would never go back there again! When you first enter there's a lot of dogs barking and owner seems to have no control. Bringing my dog back in for the second time today to talk to the owner I could feel her stress and see the change in her demeanor. It's been a stressful situation not only for myself but for my dog who's going to suffer all winter. thanks to the terrible service from the folks at claws and paws

We are so happy with this grooming and boarding facility. Lisa and Meghan do an amazing job with the boarding, grooming, and daycare services. Our dog loves coming here and gets so excited when we turn down the street! He is so well cared for here and Lisa treats him like he is one of her own. Lisa is patient and knowledgeable which makes bringing our dog here a positive experience. Highly recommend!

I have taken my dogs to Lisa and her team for just shy of 10 years. They do an excellent job and I have never had any issues. They do well with senior dogs too, paying attention to avoid irritating their warts or anything you make them aware of.

Lisa and Meghan are terrific. I have been bringing our little Morkie to Lisa since he was a puppy - 6 1/2 years ago. He loves the social atmosphere and attention he gets. He looks forward to going every month for his grooming as he becomes very excited as we approach her street, and can hardly wait to get out of the car.I have found Lisa and Meghan to be very professional, attentive and knowledgeable. They know their customers' dogs' personalities and if he's ever off, they will let me know. Our little dog always looks and smells great when I pick him up. His demeanor is excellent and he is very content on our ride home. Having fun with his friends definitely wears him out, but he is always a happy guy when I pick him up.He had a hospital stay before Christmas, which meant that both legs needed to be shaved above his paws, and his neck needed to be shaved. He was very scruffy as he hadn't been groomed in a few months because of his health issues. They listened to my concerns and were very empathetic and accommodating for me not to leave him for the usual half day that I leave him. I picked him up from his grooming today, and everything was nicely evened out and he looks like our little dog again. Plus he smells GREAT!We have also left him to board a few days at a time. I would not leave him anywhere else, and I would not dream of bringing our little guy anywhere else to cut one hair off of his head.Thank you, Lisa and Meghan. Keep up the good work. Lisa and Meghan treats our grand pups like their own. They are kind, courteous and professional. The facility is clean and it plays as a second home for our fur babies. I love that they let them play with other dogs for socialization.Finn and Scout, also go to doggie day care and get so excited when we pull into the driveway. They are tired when they get home, but they thoroughly enjoy it. It is a great feeling to know that the grand pups are well taken care of.

I took my cat here for the first time & was so impressed! The owner had vet tech experience which is a big plus along with truly compassionate care! My cat was a difficult case with lots of clumping & he was in & out in an hour & a half. He looked great! Her rates are reasonable & you can tell she truly loves animals! I highly recommend this business!

rudest people ever. had to reschedule my appointment because i had to stay late at work and they were so rude to me on the phone. glad i got my appointment cancelled so i don’t bring my pet here. absolutely ruined my whole day with their rude and unprofessional tone of voice towards me.

I went to have my dog groomed the owner is extremely rude. Not friendlyy at all. My pets are my babies when i leave them i want them to be well taken care of. I dont feel she does this she not happy at all so i cant imagine how she is with my fur baby.. if you live your animal id take them were there gonna get.the attention a d love. You pay for it. Our babies also im sure deel her meanness. My dog never smelled clean . Oh and nails were not.trimme . lovvvvveeee youuuur dog and take him to someine else

Didn't tell me cash only until I picked up my cat so had to run out to the ATM.... There's also no sign so it was hard to find. I guess they did an ok job. Won't go back though because a lot of dogs are barking and in the same room and my cat was very stressed.

They cut my dogs nails when I didn’t think anyone could. No appointment, no hassle. He’s very anxious with other people and won’t let anyone near his paws with cutters, they were able to get it done and over with in minutes. The service was everything I paid for and more.
