We were looking for a kennel and quickly realized that the Lakes Region books quickly. When we called, they had availability which should have been a red flag. We checked the reviews which were a 4.9. However, upon review after our return I saw a note that there were negative reviews that someone was compensating for but these reviews are not showing. Second red flag. We paid almost $600 to board our 4 dogs for 5 nights and when we left them we were concerned about their state upon our return. When we entered, the stench of urine and feces was overwhelming. The facility is dirty and uninviting, and the desk area is so cluttered and disorganized I wasn't sure if the dogs would get their correct food and medication. I'm not sure the dogs ever went out to utilize their runs. When we returned, we had them bathed, washed all the items we took in and they seemed ok. However, they had both vomiting and diarrhea for a week straight. We took them to the vet and incurred more cost to ensure they didn't have a parasite from the kennel because it seemed likely. The vet said their digestive issues were from excitement and stress. Barbara seems nice but this place needs to close or just focus on grooming. I don't recommend boarding your dogs.

I have to write a review to overcompensate for the negative ones left because we had a lovely experience with Barbara. We are on holiday in New Hampshire for a few weeks visiting the in-laws and needed to board our two Weimaraners overnight while we were in Albany for my partner's graduation and felt incredibly nervous boarding them in a completely new environment that they had never been to. One of our weims who's almost 12(and slightly taller than your average Weimaraner with osteoarthritis) just needs a little extra care and that's what we felt was given. Barbara prices her boarding quite affordably and if you know how to board your dog accordingly then there really shouldn't be an issue. She runs her business from her property where her home is on a large lot in Loudon next to some of the highest peaks in Merrimack county and the scenery is absolutely stunning. Due to her affordable prices and services, it's clear that she does this for nothing but the absolute joy that it brings her. While we were there we even noticed customers all the way from Massachusetts and it's clear why people will make that drive. We will definitely be returning for possible daycare services or overnight boarding in the future. We appreciated Barbara's TLC, good conversation, and good business. Highly recommended.

Our various dogs have always regarded this kennel as their "Other Home." We have boarded here for almost 2 decades and continue to be grateful for Barbara's warmth, attentiveness, and expertise. When arriving at Jabil, the dogs always greet her happily and enthusiastically, proof that they're very comfortable and well-treated when they stay. For these reasons, and more, we highly recommend Jabil Kennels for pet boarding and grooming services.

My daushund Wyatt loves being boarded here and groomed. We have been coming to Jabil for many years now due to the tremendous loving care that is given to Wyatt while we are away from home. He had to stay with Barbara for 2 months while I was in the hospital and he came home healthier and Happy. Barbara takes care of these animals just like they were her own. A wonderful woman and a great place to leave the animals you love while your gone.

Very happy to get our pup a first hair cut she was getting really hot with winter hair getting long called around with no luck till I called Jabil she set me right up with appointment, very happy with results and will be returning in future

I have brought my beloved shih tzu to several groomers and even thought that I found the right place, until I went to Jabil Kennels when the other was too busy. I have not gone anywhere else since! I love this place and so does Spook! He leaves looking amazing, soft, smelling sweet and even with a goody bag! He loves to visit and I sometimes wonder if he likes it better with her wonderful groomer than with us! Thank you Jabil Kennels, for always being there and always doing such a great job!!! Also, when I had Spook boarded with this place for a few days I had no concerns and was able to go away without worry. He had a great time and was surely treated like important family. Again, thank you ever so much!

We have been bringing our Belgian Malinois (Addi) to Jabil Kennels for the past 5 years. Barbara is an excellent caretaker and groomer. We knew the first time we picked Addi up from a week long stay that Barbara had spent time with her. Barbara told us that we didn't tell her that Addi knew sign commands but she discovered it while playing with Addi outside. Jabil Kennels has become Addi's home away from home.
